Perfect home.

My family and I stayed to celebrate a high school graduation. It accomodated my family with room to spare. This home has everything we needed. My family felt cozy and it had a homey feeling. We will def stay at this home again.

Perfect getaway

The house was Immaculate. Very clean house and everything was just as described. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely return. Host was very attentive and responsive to our texts. We felt very comfortable at our mini getaway. This is a place we would recommend to others.

A family who needed space, and accessibility

I had a party of 8, two of which were small children and 2 who were elderly, with limited capacity to move around. The house was great and very accessible for my uncle with Parkinson's. It had space and everything else you may needs for a 3 days getaway. It was well equipped and modern. Joanna was a great host, paying attention to details, answering questions promptly, was nice and polite. The house was very clean, along with everything else in it. It was a close drive to a big supermarket, gas station, places to eat, nature trails and other major landmarks around the area. I definitely recommend this house and plan on going back.

As a mum to an athlete we spend a ridiculous amount of time in drafty skateparks in UK or jetting off to competitions around the world. We have to stay in short term rental accomodation as we have dietary requirements and allergies so need to be able to cook, we have stayed in many places around the world and know what little touches we appreciate and really want to create the place we would want to stay at.

I love that in the off season our rental becomes our winter training base and we all really miss it when we have to leave. We're now 1 year into our hosting journey and its been a steep learning curve however we're going into 2025 with a lot more confidence in our home and abilities to provide great hospitality and we're thankful to the guests that helped us learn along the way, we have made improvements that our guests suggested and so much more. I hope our future guests enjoy it as much as we do feel free to connect with us on FB and follow our journey.

We chose this place because after big events and competitions we're all peopled out we wanted somewhere we could just relax and recover but we also wanted somewhere really close to everything, remote living is not our thing.

This property fulfilled it all within a few minutes your at the lake or one of the many restaurants within 20-30 minutes your in Wimberley, San Marcos, Gruene, New Braunfells and in under an hour your in Austin or San Antonio and at the end of a day soaking up the history, live music, shopping or exhausting yourself hiking or on the water your back in our little corner of paradise in the quiet, waiting for the deer to pass.

Sitting right beside the Game Barn is picnic table seating 8, Bar & Grill Shack with stand for provided cooler that makes it self close ready for the burgers & drinks plus Fire Pit with 8 Adirondack chairs and keeps you right in the center of your family gathering and keeping all entertained no matter.
