Ponderosa Pines Lodge - Notre maison de 2400 pieds carrés est spacieuse et lumineuse avec deux suites de maître, plafonds voûtés et planchers de bois franc. Il y a de grandes fenêtres et des portes coulissantes qui donnent sur les pins ponderosa dans une zone sereine et ouverte en face de la rivière à Sunriver. La maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes dans cinq grandes chambres et une grande salle avec 60 'LCD Smart TV avec Netflix et Amazon payant pour les réceptions de famille. La grande salle dispose d'une grande cheminée en pierre et d'un coin repas pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes. La terrasse à l'arrière de la maison offre de magnifiques vues sur le pin ponderosa. La maison dispose de la climatisation à l'étage et d'un bain à remous privé.

Lieu: Notre maison de style lodge est située au 1 Gannet, en face de la rivière et à la fin de notre propriété soutient les pistes cyclables de Sunriver. Nous sommes entre Circle 6 et Circle 7. Il se trouve à une minute à pied du sentier longeant la rivière Deschutes. Quinze minutes de vélo pour se rendre au centre aquatique et récréatif SHARC avec 12 laissez-passer illimités. Cinq minutes en vélo à la forêt nationale de montagne pistes cyclables (vers Benham Falls). Dix minutes de vélo à Fort Rock Park. Vingt minutes de vélo à centre commercial. Vingt minutes en voiture de la station de ski de Mount Bachelor.

Espaces de vie: Grande salle avec plafonds voûtés, planchers de bois franc, grande cheminée en pierre, baies vitrées donnant sur les pins Ponderosa et chevreuils occasionnels; La salle à manger se trouve à quinze (douze à table, trois au bar); Salle familiale / tanière avec TV, DVD et chaîne stéréo. Sweet spot in Sunriver!

We are a group of 3 families - 6 adults and 6 kids ranging 4-15. We travel to Sunriver for the winter break every year and this house was a perfect fit! Loved the bunk room and the kids hang spot in the converted garage. Host was super communicative and we really appreciated the keyless entry!

Great multi family home

This is our second time staying here. We like the closer access to the river, the house is spacious and accommodates our multi family well. Plus, pet friendly! We’ll appointed kitchen, 2 refrigerators.

Perfect for Family Vacation

We traveled with our kids, my parents, my husband’s parents, and my brother and his girlfriend for a week. We also had our medium sized dog with us, and my mother-in-law had her dog. Everyone was able to have their own private sleeping space and enough space to gather together for meals and evening games. Property was clean. Nothing fancy or over the top, but we aren’t fancy people. The location was convenient and quieter than properties we had previously rented closer to the village. Would definitely come back!

Amazing vacation home!

Wonderful home and very kind owners. Everything was clean and it was very well stocked. Great bikes, hot tub, etc. Communication with the property management company was bumpy -- not sending check-in info (or perhaps sending it to the wrong email?), but aside from that, it was a great vacation!

Lovely stay.

We liked the house. It was one of the most well-equipped ones we've stayed at in the past several years. It was an inviting property. We loved the area. Usually when we visit Sunriver, we stay a little closer to the village, but this house was in an area that was much quieter and very peaceful. The cleaning was passable. There was hair in the shower, stuff left under the couch, wrappers left on the floor in the master. Things I could pick up/clean on my own. But clearly some things are getting missed in the cleaning process. The kids loved their space in the garage and the adults liked having a welcoming living area to visit in upstairs. The biggest issue we ran into was you have a house that sleeps 12 (we only had 6) and have enough warm (not hot, just warm) water for one person to take a three minute shower. Reliably had issues with the lack of hot water. Other than that, we enjoyed our time here!

Fantastic home for large group in Sunriver

We held a large family reunion in Sunriver and chose 1 Gannet as one of three homes for our attendees. We were not disappointed. The house is spacious and well-designed. It is well-stocked with kitchen utensils, spices and condiments, bikes, toys, two large refrigerators — you name it. We will look to this property for future gatherings.

A little strange title but this was my wife and I Christmas present to my daughter's and their family We do this every other year and my oldest daughter started this was the best trip we had This was our 8th time we have done this trip to Sunriver and a lot this being the best time was the house it worked great for the family

Family Fun

We enjoyed this house for our family vacation. The 5 bedrooms accommodated our entire family. Be aware that there are stairs that we had to block off from an active toddler. The bikes were great to use and the kitchen was well stocked. It was a warm week so having air conditioning was also a plus. Checkin and checkout process was explained well.

Great family get away

The kitchen and family room were open and very roomy. Table was large enough for our group of 11. The owner was very responsive when we arrived in a power outage. The beds had a down comforter zipped into the mattress but they lumped up in the center which was uncomfortable. Since it was zipped in, it was impossible to make adjustments.

A week of family fun.

The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items. It was the perfect size for our multi generation family. A 4 star overall rating is due to the non functioning washing machine during our stay. This was a challenge with 10 people in the home. The property management staff was very responsive to the problem by sending repairmen several times and delivering several towel exchanges. The river location is excellent! We would highly recommend a stay in this home.

Lovely Spacious Home

The house was spacious, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. There was good light throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for all kinds of cooking. We appreciated the 5 bedrooms (two bunks for kids) and the welcome for two pets. There was no entry info from VRBO 3 days before arrival. I called owner. She had it sent. Appreciated her help and cheerfulness.

It was good!

I didn’t rate it higher as things are pretty worn....the floors are hardwood but have seen better days, the dining table was worn, beds were mediocre. It did fit our large family - everyone had a bedroom and there were plenty of bikes for everyone. Would have liked touched like Saran Wrap, foil, etc.

Beautiful house, but we were not allowed to check in until 5pm and we’re charged the full price. House was 85-90 degrees when we arrived. It was very uncomfortable and we were unable to cool the house down until the following morning.

Another wonderful experience at Sunriver

I would like to thank Roberta first of all for accommodating our family reunion! This actually took 2 years to get together due to Covid issues and Roberta was very understanding of our need to postpone our initial dates. The home was in a very quiet, calm neighborhood, river access was easy - everything was in good condition and the weather was perfect! I would definitely recommend this home to any larger group that would like to be in "one place" - there are many types of accommodations in Sunriver, but I would highly recommend this home if your goal is a fun, stressfree experience. Wonderful experience

The house is immaculately clean, cheery and bright, in a great location and nice neighborhood, has an open layout for a perfect family gathering, decorated throughout with class, excellently equipped in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, laundry and garage. It has cozy and comfortable furniture, beds, pillows, linens,, huge TVs with Netflix and other services. The garage even has a large flat screen tv with a living room like seating area and a ping pong table,. Although we did not use, there were many bikes and even sleds available for guests. The walking/bike path is easily accessed behind the property, the golf course is just a few blocks away, the river is across the street, and the north pool is a short walk down the road. We will rent again in the late summer and winter. We’ve rented in Sunriver many many times (at least 35 times in both the summer and winter,) and this house was the best. The owner is extremely nice, responsive, warm and accommodating. You can’t go wrong renting this awesome vacation rental home. We would give 10 stars if we could! Thank you to the owners of this home! Our family had a great holiday vacation over New Years!

Great house that could use a little attention

This is a terrific house that could easily keep a couple of families comfortable. The layout is very open upstairs for gathering without crowding. Good size deck for relaxing in the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances. The beds were very comfortable and our family LOVED the location. However, there were some items noted during our stay that could use some attention. The dishwasher isn’t functioning well (left a lot of soap behind and dishes still dirty, despite appropriate loading). We also found that when we went to use the oven, it had a lot of oven cleaner residue and couldn’t be safely used for cooking. My biggest issue though was the hot tub. The hot tub signs indicate that it is emptied, cleaned, and refilled between reservations. That was obviously not the case with our stay as the hot tub had quite a bit of debris and the water was green. I called and requested that the tub be shocked, which they did stop by to do, but the water remained cloudy and green. I never felt comfortable enough to use it during our stay due to this.

Fun family gathering in Sunriver OR!

House was as described- comfortable, clean and roomy. Safety gate on the top floor was fantastic for keeping the 20mo year old from using the stairs without adult supervision. Loved riding the bikes and using the hot tub.

Family Friendly

The general layout of the home was great. We enjoyed the large table for eating. It was nice that it accommodated all 10 of us. The bedroom configuration was great and worked for our family. That has been an issue with past homes. The recreation was super. We enjoyed the Sharc passes, bikes and hot tub. Our overall satisfaction with the house was very high. I would like to make some suggestions for better informing future guests. List where and how to get to garbage cans, the location of the beach towels and stove instructions. We are familiar with gas stoves however the lighting process was not automatic. The screws for locking the hot tub and the bike enclosure were stripped out. We found both problems with the security upon our arrival, but locked both up or made them appear to be locked when we departed. Thanks again for sharing your house,

Wonderful Family Home

Very large home and close to the river. Enjoyed waking to the river and tubing to the canoe takeout. Bike trails are amazing! House has been updated with central air and was very comfortable during our entire stay as the weather was in the 80s & 90s. Thank you!

Nice home

We enjoyed our stay. House worked sleek for adults and kids. Enjoyed the bikes, safe riding for the kids on culdesac. We loved being close to the river. House was clean. Kitchen is well aappointed. Good AC! Only suggestion would be to fix the large sliding door onto patio. It’s heavy and it’s difficult to open and close. A good cleaning of track and some WD 40 would probably do it. We would definitely rent this home again!!

Snowy Christmas

We enjoyed our week of being together in this two level home. The great room was large enough for our group of nine. The hot tub was a treat after skiing, and the grill was great to rescue Christmas dinner during a power outage. Access to the home is up the steps to the front door, which was a bit trying in the deep snow (we did not have use of a garage door opener). The garage is outfitted for summer enjoyment. We used the ping pong table for all our wrapped Christmas gifts. Lots of TVs are available, including in the bunk room, which had the most comfortable mattresses. We were able to rent a pack and play for our youngest grandson. In all this is great home for a multi-generation stay.

We live in San Diego and equally love the remote living in beautiful Sunriver. We chose Sunriver and the Deschutes river location, because are family can float on rafts to our home from the marina and our dog loves to swim. We ride our bikes along the river to the SHARC, Sunriver Resort, or to lunch in The Village at Sunriver. There is also a paved bike or walking path to Benham Falls nearby. But the best part is to cross the street and walk in the early morning along the beautiful Deschutes River.
