Great stay, perfect for our group of 11 and two dogs. Location is great, next to the trails and a close bike ride to the Sharc, Village, North Store. Front driveway was safe for kids to bike around. Kitchen had everything needed with lots of extra plates and cups. Beds could use replacement. Would stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at Shannonâs home in Sunriver! We had a few families with children, and the house was perfect â very spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Shannon was a great host and communicated clearly and quickly whenever we had questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
From my 96yo mom to my 7yo grandson, this house was perfect.
It is comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything, also appreciated the second fridge in the garage for our Thanksgiving group.
Highly recommend this place
The house was big and accommodated 12 of us and 2 dogs. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The owner is terrific and tried to make sure that everything went well for us.
Sunriver is amazing. Float the river, ride bikes, hike Broken Top mountain, see Crater Lake, etc.
We will be back.
We were a large group of 4 families in town for a baseball tournament and this house was absolutely perfect for us! Lots of space inside and plenty for the kids to do outside! The house was clean, fully equipped, great location, check in/check out were super easy and Shannon was amazing to work with! Nothing was missed, lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We will definitely stay again!
We stayed here with our friends and small children for the weekend. Location is perfect! Close to the park, SHARC, and Village. Host was quick to respond and friendly, took care of us asap:)
Overall, this was a great home to vacation in with our family. The house is fully equipped, has a great floor plan for a family, and is in a perfect location, close to Fort Rock Park, great walking and biking, and fairly close to the Shark Center. Our only disapointment was that we had to give the floors on the main a good cleaning, and we had to clean the grills outside prior to using them.
We had a great time. The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The home is near a wonderful park. Trails for walking and biking run all over the community.
We had a wonderful week!
We had a wonderful time spending the week cozy in the home playing board games. We loved watching the snow fall and playing in the snow. The hot tub was lovely to relax in.
Kitchen was nice, we could hang out and talk in the kitchen and dinningroom
This was a great house for our family of 9, very comfortable to stay in and cook in a nice crowd friendly kitchen.
Unfortunately because of fires nearby, outdoor activities were somewhat depressed. I would have liked to have known before we arrived that fire alerts were on so I could pre-warn others coming. I would have brought an air filter for myself because I am asthmatic and the air quality made for difficult breathing.
This is a great house, well stocked and appointed with plenty of room for a large extended family. We loved the location and the real wood stove for creating a cozy atmosphere.
One note, the room with two queen beds is only accessible by going through the bunk bed room. This would have been good to know ahead of time.
Overall a great experience.
We stayed for six days and the rental unit was as advertised. We were disappointed that we had to purchase paper towels (there were none) and additional toilet paper (on bathroom had only about 1/4 roll remaining).
Excellent house for families with kids and perfect location
We had a great time with our friends in this lovely house. The kids room upstairs were perfect for our crew. This house has plenty of space and the layout is wonderful. The kitchen was great and was stocked well especially with plenty of spices, silverware, and all the kitchen amenities. Outside was where we hung out most on the big porch and patio. There was plenty of seatings and tables with both a grill and blackstone grill that we used every night. The house was clean and well prepared for our visit. We were close to the Fort Rock park and the Sharc could easily be reached via the provided bikes. The property managers were quick to respond with any questions we had. All in all a great house house and location.
Overall a great house and very comfortable. Big bedrooms with plenty of beds that were very comfortable. Plenty of linens. Nice floor plan with 2 mastersuites downstairs. Greee we t barbecue and outdoor area and hot tub. Nice kitchen with a big fridge. The VRBO site said check in was 3 and we had to wait till4. The kitchen floor had not been mopped but the cleaners came back quickly and cleaned it . There was a wad of hair in one of the showers. Just overall the house needs to be cleaner. The couch is worn and needs to be replaced and so do the outdoor mats. Other than that the stay was great. The owner was very responsive immediately which was very helpful.when we requested a mop and vacuum
We had 14 family members of all ages, 3-76 years, and this house accommodated all of us.
Pros: lots of beds and rooms, comfortable beds and linens, kitchen well stocked, great location for biking and exploring.
Cons: Fridge had 2 drawers that don't open, the master bedroom didn't seem to have hot water, the upstairs sinks didn't drain great.
None of the cons tainted the trip but it would be nice to get them fixed. We also never told the owner. I think they would have done something right away, but like I said they weren't big deals.
I would stay here again.
This property is located near Fort Rock Park and the area in front of the house is child friendly for riding bikes, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked!! Iâve stayed in numerous homes where Iâve had to pick up utensils and seasonings⊠this home has you covered!! Lots of cookware, bakeware, dishes, everything you need. There was room for all of us, we ended up with 9 adults and 2 children. The kiddos loved using the Sharc passes! The dining table was big enough for everyone, and if it had been warm enough we would have enjoyed the spacious patio. Lots of space for personal food items, an extra fridge/freezer in the garage, bicycles, and a private hot tub. I gave the overall rating a 4 instead of a 5 because we had a couple of issues that were not due to the host, but due to the previous guest who checked out the day we checked in. The host responded immediately and addressed the issues. My family will definitely stay in this vacation home again!
The location is amazing. Itâs beautiful and centrally located, and the house itself is gorgeous.
However, while we will definitely be coming back to Sunriver, we will never be staying here again for a couple of reasons.
- We couldnât find the remote for the main tv. We tore the place apart looking for it, and when I reached out to the host she said âI'm sorry, check in the cubby in the wall next to the TV. Although once it was found on the floor under a couch.â I let her know we already looked everywhere and she replied âI'm sorry. That is frustrating! I don't know of anywhere it might have goneâ. No kind of solution was offered, and we ended up going 11 miles to Walmart to get a universal remote.
- The place is FILTHY. When we were looking under couches there was piles of trash and dust. There were dishes in the dishwasher and laundry in the dryer. They were clean, but it felt odd that it wasnât put away. The floors made all of our feet totally dirty black. Lots of dust all along the ceiling fans and lights. There were dirty broom streaks on the floor in the bathroom, so it was swept but not mopped.
- All of the bikes are damaged in some way but usable, but the tandem bike has a broken chain and is completely unusable.
- Half of the jets on the hot tub donât work.
All in all, this was one of the cheaper options for the size of our group and it was fine, but weâll definitely be saving up and staying somewhere else next time.
We first came on a family vacation to Sunriver in 2005 and fell in love with the place. We all agreed it was the best vacation we had ever had together. The bike paths make it so easy to get around and there is so much to do and enjoy.
You can sit on the deck and look out into the woods quite a ways before seeing another house and it feels so private. The trails are close by and the access to the park and the SHARC is fantastic. There are plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. We love sitting in the hot tub on a starry night or cuddling in front of the wood stove while the snow falls outside.
