We had a wonderful stay at Beach Bay cottage. The cottage has been wonderfully renovated but still has that island cottage feel from years past. The surround neighbors are great and even joined us for some local conversation. Everything that you need is in the cottage and the location is awesome.

Spring Break 24

We had a few days to get away and decided to explore Chincoteague. It rained or was cloudy for most of our trip, but we still had a great time. The cottage’s location was perfect for walking anywhere. We especially enjoyed the Island Creamery and Steamers. Coming home to the cute, clean, and cozy cottage made our time in the island that much more enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again!

Was adequately sized and a decent value, but could have been cleaned a little better in advance. Also, this is on a main road and the front window lacked curtains, making it easy to look in, so we had to improvise one. Told this to management on our way out.

What a perfect location in general, but specifically when you have young children. Right across the street are two ice cream shops and multiple meal options. Right around the corner is a fenced in playground and multiple stores to enjoy. The cottage itself was very cute. We appreciated the glass door closing off the steep steps going upstairs. You could tell a lot of TLC went into this property.

Great for families!

The house is very cute and perfectly located. It was great for our family. There was plenty of room for a pack'n'play in the upstairs bedroom. There was no toilet paper or hand soap when we arrived but that was remedied very quickly when I texted the host. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking, keep in mind the fridge and freezer are very small. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Stayed here with family for a week trip to the island. As soon as I walked in the door I loved the space. Everything was very clean and the owner went above and beyond with supplying necessary items we didn’t think to bring. Plenty of towels and linens were provided. We had 6 people staying there so the one bathroom was tricky but it never became an issue. The only problem we ran into was the refrigerator and freezer were extremely small but we made do! Overall this space was absolutely adorable and in the best location possible surrounded by everything you may need within walking distance. We cannot wait to stay here again

Beautiful decor and new appliances in this cozy little place. Loved the shower too, fancy. Mirrors all around are nice touch too. The fridge freezer combo gave us a little trouble with noises and alarm going off but maybe it’s bc we aren’t used to that fancy high tech undercounter kind. 😊 loved how friendly and helpful the owner was! Excellent prompt attention to her renters. That’s definitely nice and not often found so you can rely on a wonderful clean home and a great rental owner.

It was a great stay, cozy little cottage! The shower was great and the bed was super comfy! Slightly concerned about the cameras hanging from the ceiling in the living room and kitchen that were bagged, should have at least been acknowledged about those. It was great location even though most places were closed due to off season.

Our stay at cottage

Beautiful house. Nice size bedrooms. Nice bathroom. Great kitchen. Loved the location as it was within walking distance to downtown and most importantly across the street from mr whippy’s ice cream! The only thing is does not have a full refrigerator. However if u take a cooler like we did we were able to put our water in that , so it all turned out great. I would definitely stay there again.
