The house is beautiful, we especially enjoyed the back porch and the outdoor shower. The host gave us great suggestions of places to eat and places to visit while on the island. However we had a plumbing issue with the toilet. We were unable to contact the host after several attempts we contacted vrbo who also tried to contact her and was unable to reach her. Unfortunately because this was the only bathroom in the house we had to leave a day early but Christine was generous and gave us a one night refund for the night we were not there. Overall the experience was very good. as
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean and had everything there that we needed. It was close to everything and a lot of places were walkable.
Loved the atmosphere of the beach house. Enjoyed our stay and the hostess had a bottle of wine for us. Only downside was that the internet was not working.
This property had a plumbing issue at the time we were to be there. Christine moved us to another property, oyster haven. She couldnt have been nicer to accommodate us. Cute place! Convenient as well.
We Loved staying in this warmly inviting cottage on Chincoteague island. Every comfort was provided in this warm beach cottage and the well- appointed amenities made it feel like home. Having breakfast on the sunny enclosed porch was a great start to the day!
Within walking distance of good restaurants, the waterfront, shopping, with a short drive to local sights.
I could live here! An adorable and well kept cottage with everything you could possibly need. Easy walk to Main St, grocery store and trolley. Stayed for Oyster Fest with my sister and it was easy to get there on the trolley and nice to be away from the action. We're both big readers and really enjoyed all of the comfortable indoor and outdoor spots to lounge. Comfortable beds too. Absolutely wonderful stay!
Charming, comfortable, well located!!! Hopefully we can rent this property again. Loved it! Perfect for two 70 somethings interested in biking, exploring a a nd enjoying the beaches of Assateague.
This is a cozy set up for a weekend on chincoteague island. Included a very nice outdoor space where we held a small lunch gathering of about 10 people.
Stayed at Christineâs house for a weekend getaway with a few friends, and this house was perfect for what we were looking for. The street was nice and quiet, close enough that we could walk down to some of the great coffee shops for breakfast, but far enough away from everything that we werenât bothered.
Spent lots of time on the awesome back deck, enjoying the cool May weather!
This house was absolutely perfect. It was clean, tidy and absolutely adorable. It was a quick ride to Assateague beach and quick walk to downtown. Was a lovely quiet escape.
Comfortable and close to enough for a short walk or drive to shops and restaurants. Owner very responsive and provided great tips for where to go on the island.
My husband first took me on our 1 year Anniversary date to Chincoteague, I fell in love with the charming fishing village and we bought the cottage the very next year. We love anything that has to do with the ocean, fishing, seafood, boating, beaches, lighthouses, antiquing and sun!
I fell in love with the little cottage the day I went to look at it. It was filled with antiques and the lady had it decorated it so nicely. Unfortunately, they did not convey with the house. I loved the hardwood floors and quaintness of the cottage. It was perfect to me. I like to experiment with different colors. It is my fun place!
