Nice place, good price, and was able to extend stay on short notice. Given the warm early spring, would recommend spraying for bees and insects. Would definitely stay again.

Little Slice of Heaven!

This place has everything! From beautiful views to a well stocked cabin. Attention to detail is obvious here. Perfect place to take day trips to waterfalls, Bryson City, and Cherokee. Be sure to explore the property and find Cricket's Cave.

Beautiful house and location

We loved our stay here. The house is beautiful and well-appointed. Easy to find and close to Franklin and Bryson City. Everything is as described online. The property is fun to explore (my kids loved Cricket Cave!) and the view is wonderful. We'll definitely be back!

Cabin was nice. Could use new beds and couches. Property was okay but quite a drive to anything including grocery store.

Love the Mtn Views

My wife and I had a most excellent stay at Spring Hill cabin. The Mountain View’s from the back porch were magnificent especially with all the fall colors peaking. I believe we spent the majority of our time there. The cabin was very clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend this cabin to spend some quality time with that someone special.

It was a nice place but timing was bad. Helene changed everything. No cell signals, no wifi. No way to get info for what was going on. Franklin had the same problems. Went to Sylva to get a signal nothing. Spoke to locals who told us I-40 was closed due to landslide east of Asheville. Information was not good.

From the owner: "I'm sorry that Hurricane Helene interrupted your stay. I did check in with you prior to the storm and immediately after the storm. The cabin never lost power but unfortunately, all of Western North Carolina lost internet and cell service. Our region has never experienced such a natural disaster and I understand your desire to leave prior to the end of your booking."

A Wonderful Mountain Getaway

We booked this cabin on a last minute whim after our beach vacation plans were soaked by Hurricane Debby. The cabin is comfortably appointed with many details considered: a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels (we had brought our own but the owners also have seperate towels for swimming available), plentiful and comfortable beds, family lawn games, board games/cards, ample outdoor porch seating, a fire pit, reading material about the local area, and more. While visiting you are within an hour's drive to rafting, tubing, hiking, mining, and nearby towns like Highlands. We also enjoyed morning coffee and dinner on the porch enjoying the cooler temps. The cabin is about 20 minutes NW of the city center so plan to grab your grocery items while in town. We went to the Ingles on Georgia Road/441 (the nicer/larger/newer store). If you have kids, take a little walk down the driveway to locate Cricket Cave...what a fun, adventurous surprise! Thanks for sharing your mountain getaway!

Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

It was a lovely property. It was very clean and well stocked with all that one would need. We had our family Thanksgiving meal there. We had so much fun and were cozy and warm as it was very cold in the mornings and at night, but we were very warm and snug inside during that time. The days warmed up and we enjoyed sitting on the main floor back deck and enjoying the amazing scenery of the Smoky Mountains. We would definitely stay there again! The road is a bit rough to get there and if there is ice and snow there would definitely need to be caution taken to drive up. The driveway is steep, but not bad. The road leading to the driveway is very bad and would be in bad weather. We had an SUV with 4 wheel drive which we did not need as there was no ice and snow during our stay, but it would be difficult to navigate even with our vehicle in ice and snow. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! We highly and enthusiastically recommend!!!

An amazing cabin for relaxation and adventure!

Our family of six (with four littles) fell in love with this cabin and all it offered! Our favorite aspects of the rental was the kid-friendliness of the space (there was a stash of toys my kids thought were such fun!), the breathtaking views from the back porch as we ate meals and relaxed at the end of the day, and the location was away from the hustle and bustle but a fun 30-ish minute drive to great hiking trails! The price was a steal for all this cabin offered! So many sleeping arrangement possibilities, but my kids preferred staying in the loft room with the trundle bed. We cooked every meal on-site with more than enough utensils, pots, pans, etc. They even had kids plates, bowls, cups and cutlery…Such a thoughtful addition to the cabin! Check-in/out was a breeze! My husband and I have already said this is a must return rental!!

Nice location close by the river

The cabin was great, fully stocked with what we needed to enjoy our vacation. Very kid friendly place, even had a baby gate for the stairs extreme plus for kids. Overall it’s a great place to stay to visit the surrounding area.

Great weekend Get Away

House was great!! Out of the way from everything, but close enough to get to! Great views. Wonderful front yard, where our kids played with the games provided at the house! Just a great spot for the family to relax after long days viewing the National Parks. Great kitchen supplies and grill.
