Luxury Confederation Log Home in Bobcaygeon on 300 ft of direct waterfront - Year round!!! Open concept layout with cathedral ceilings, entire home has brand new furnishings in 2022. Come escape to this beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage and enjoy all the amenities it has to offer in less than 2 hrs from Toronto. Curl up on the sofa by the fireplace, warm up in the winters in the barrel sauna. Winter enthusiasts can go ice fishing only steps from the wrap around porch, or go Snowmobiling on the trails that are just up the street.
In the summers, jump in the lake from your own private dock or walk in to the water by the waters edge. Access to a paddle boat and 2 personal yellow floater mats.

Family Vacay

We had a wonderful time at this cottage!! It accommodated all out needs from our elderly parents to our older kids. Lots of stuff to do and the property grounds were amazing! Check in/ Check out was a breeze and hosts were very good to communicate with. Definitely would stay again!

Family fun

Our group of 6 adults and 5 children thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful cottage. Wrap around porch was a big hit! Close to the water and the views of the lake were amazing. Kids enjoyed entering the water from the shallow sandy area. We had fun kayaking and paddle boarding. Fishing was a highlight for the grandkids. They caught a few bass off the dock (which were released),

Nice size for extended family get away. Beautiful wrap around porch - able to follow the sun when it was there. Location was good but found the amount of weeds disappointing. Lovely, well stocked kitchen making food preparation easy. Had a wonderful relaxing visit until the Neighbours, rentals, arrived for the long weekend. Loud music and foul language late into the evening was very disturbing. They said it was their right to do so when we asked politely for them to tone it down.Communication with VRBO was difficult at times while direct talking with hostess was very good. Overall we had a good stay.

Amazing Lake Views

This property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the lake. The wrap around deck was amazing, loved drinking coffee out there in the mornings and wine in the evenings. The kids loved playing in the water with the paddle boat and floating mats. Other then a small miscommunication about laundry it was an amazing week. Highly recommend renting this property. Carrie

Excellent!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property for 3 weeks. The photos dont do it justice. We enjoyed swimming from the sandy beach and dock, having camp fires, saunas and just enjoying the time as a family. Two very under sold aspects of this property is the lawn and wrap around porch. There is a sizable lakeside flat grass area that is great for doing most any sport along w a big beautiful tree for all day shade. The wrap deck is amazing. Plenty of seating in all around it. There is a breeze somewhere (limited bugs) on porch all day along w shade or sun, whatever you're after. We spent 80% of our time sitting and cooking outside, even when it rained. We have rented many places over the years and we cant recall a better outdoor setting. The owners were responsive and helpful when needed. Beds were comfortable, AC was great, location to town(s) was solid, wifi stable and surprisingly fast. Highly recommended.

Great cottage on Big Bald Lake with easy waterfront access

The cottage has a large verandah that wraps around the house and has a nice small sandy area in the lake for young kids to play. We used the kayak, canoe and pedal boat everyday. Sauna was a nice bonus. Kitchen stovetop to a few tries to figure out how to turn it on. The internet was not very fast but we hardly noticed. Lots of small fish in the lake.

Beautiful cottage!

This is a beautiful property with amazing views and serene surrounding! It's very family friendly, as kids enjoyed the spacious yard, and the shallow sandy area. The wrap around porch made it easy for everyone to just find a comfy corner to relax and enjoy. It'll be more convenient for the guests if access to laundry and vacuum are made available. The hosts are very friendly and fast on responding. We all had a wonderful time, and look forward to come back again!

Our review

The location and property was lovely. The porch surrounding the cottage was great for sitting, relaxing, games and eating... and made the outside inviting. Waterfront was amazing for viewing and the swimming was great. It would have been helpful if there was a ladder at the dock. The walk-in area and sand beach worked well for entry and swimming. The play area for the children was very good. The only complaint is that the inside of the cottage was very dusty - floors and furniture. There was no vacuum available only a broom which made cleaning difficult. One toilet had not been cleaned. When I wiped the showers the cloth was black (dust I guess). I spent several hours cleaning the inside of the cottage. It did appear that the inside of the cottage may not have been cleaned or at least cleaned well. Might check that this is done for future rentals Otherwise, the cottage was beautiful and worked well for family activities of all ages. Loved the area.

Such a beautiful spot! Close to beautiful Bobcaygeon!

We loved our stay in this beautiful Confederation log home/cottage! It has everything you need to enjoy your special vacation! The location is quiet and truly beautiful! I will definitely book this again and can't wait to see it in the summer!
