The open-concept kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm, and there’s both indoor and outdoor dining space for meals together. For fun at the cottage, you’ll find a foosball table, ping pong, lawn games, a lily pad, kayak, paddleboards, and even a sports court. The dock offers deep, clean swimming in one of the clearest lakes in the region, with no marina traffic and plenty of space to float in peace.

Sandy Lake is about a 2-hour drive northeast of Toronto and is well located near several charming towns. Buckhorn and Bridgenorth are just 15 minutes away and offer great restaurants, ice cream, and local shopping. Peterborough is 30 minutes from the cottage and a great spot for concerts, galleries, and a night out. Bobcaygeon, also 30 minutes away, is known as the gateway to cottage country and offers boutique shopping, Bigley’s, Kawartha Dairy, and live music at the Lakeview Arts Barn. You can also visit Kawartha Settlers’ Village and watch boats pass through the historic Lock 32 on the Trent–Severn Waterway. In the summer months, Bobcaygeon hosts festivals, markets, and outdoor concerts. This cottage is also 10 min away from Six Foot Bay Resort & Golf Course.
