Peaceful, comfortable and convenient river retreat

The Lodge is a peaceful and relaxing space for you on our property Stirling Parc.

Located in Killawarra, less than 10 minutes drive from Wangaratta, The Lodge is away from the main home and your own private space.

It accommodates up to 4 and has a well-appointed kitchenette and Weber Q gas bbq. Quality fluffy towels and bedding are provided; in winter the beds have flannelette sheets and electric blankets! It has air-conditioning and heating, including a lovely wood fire. The Lodge also has its own high speed Wi-Fi.

The Ovens River is accessible from the property for walks, birdwatching or relaxing. The large front garden is perfect for young ones to play, or to star-gaze away from bright city lights on a clear night!

The property is in a very quiet area with very little passing traffic - the loudest thing you'll hear will be the birds! The surrounding area is flat and it is a very pleasant walk or bike ride (approx 4km) around the block. The street is suitable for children to ride their bikes...supervised of course! There is also a bike path into Wangaratta.

Close to the Rutherglen and King Valley wine regions, charming towns and local walks, it's a perfect base to enjoy north east Victoria!

The Lodge is self-catering. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some basic cooking needs (oil, salt, pepper) and condiments are provided.
