The beach house was easily accessible and convenient to the beach, pool, and our favorite restaurants. The views were wonderful and relaxing. We were surrounded by calm peaceful serenity. Thank you for our relaxing time.

Excellent location for a family. Close to beach with a great view of the Gulf! I recommend taking advantage of the linen service.

We loved our stay here!

It was a comfy home and decorated so cute! The view was amazing! The big deck was great and walking distance from beach made it so much easier ecspecially with little ones. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful view and location. Kitchen is tight if you do much cooking. There is no tub which was ok but inconvenient with a toddler. The second bedroom in a twin over queen bunk with a roll out twin which was confusing from the listing. There are NO blinds in part of the house which makes it quite hot during parts of the day. Not a good rental for a family of more than 4.

Very clean house. Beautiful view of the ocean. Excellent view of 4th of July fireworks. Easy check in just down the road. Stairs to wrap around porch we're not steep and difficult. Loved the place. Didn't have any problems with AC in July. Took barely a minute to the beach on a golf cart and it was maybe a 5 minute walk. Clean beach. Plenty of kitchen appliances and cutlery. Loved all the hoses up and downstairs to give a nice splash to stay cool. We loved this house and will hopefully be booking again.

Weather was good. A little windy, but the sun was out so the breeze kept us cool.

We come to crystal beach at least 3 times a year and love everything about it. The only thing I think I would change about this home is access to the swimming pool- it would be nice to use the pool after a long day of beach combing. ☺️ Thank you for a wonderful place for us to call " home" for a week !!

We picked this vacation home specifically because it had access to a swimming pool. But only after checking in and calling the management company did we find out the neighborhood pool is only available to homeowners, not vacation renters. Disappointing and misleading.

Interior is a bit dated but it's cozy and comfy with a huge table for family dinners and game nights. Note that this property does not have wi-fi, and guests are not able to access the community pool. Beach access is close and easy to reach on foot or with your golf cart. This house is in a quiet corner and was a great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

First time renting a beach house and it was amazing!

Reviewer Comments: My family has always rented from Swedes a bunch of times over the years but this was my first Time to do it on my own with my own kids and we had the most amazing time! we did take advantage of the linen service and it was well worth not having to bring all of our own sheets and towels. our location was perfect and right next to the water, it only took us a few minutes to get down to the water and back. this house was also extremely close to every single thing you could possibly need from the big store to boba to stickers for your car to the beach! we will definitely be coming back!!

Beach weekend

Very cute quiet and view is amazing for not being on the beach! When we arrived the floors were very dirty and dead bugs on the floors. But when I called they had someone over within 10 mins! I wish they would wash and give you the bath mats how they do the towels and sheets bc they were also very dirty at arrival. They do have a washer and dryer so that was nice! Blinds in the bathroom bc the ppl across the field can see you! You do have to pick up and drop off the key which is kinda annoying. They should have code lock and they also need a good deep cleaning!

The view is excellent and the location is perfect. I have been renting from Swedes real estate since I was 25 years old and now I am 70. I’ve always been pleased through the years with whatever beach house that we have gotten each time and the staff has always been very nice and professional.

Also, there are other real estate rental companies there, but there has always been something a little more personal by Sweedes in handling renters. Only thing that the house lacks are some sort of shades to pull down over the many windows at night time for a little more privacy. But those same windows make for a great view.

Really liked location and the modern appliances. Furniture was comfy, location was great. All the windows made for fantastic view. In fact we had a full moon on one side and a beautiful sunset on the other. Easy access to beach that was less populated than what we are used to. Definitely will stay at this same house again.

A respite by the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Annette's Funautical Fantasea is conveniently accessible either from the Galveston Ferry terminal or by highway 83 coming from the east. It is a short walk to the beach which is visible from the living room and kitchen area. Great for viewing sunrise and the beginning of a new day. The rooms and beds are large and comfortable. Bring your own linens and towels to save $100. The kitchen appliances are dated bur functional. Importantly, the HVAC system works very well. On our visit, there weren't any dish sponges or soap, so I spent a few bucks and left them behind for the next guest. Likewise, be sure to bring your own hand and body wash and shampoo. This isn't like your typical hotel room! Anyway, the other amenities are great, including access to the community pool, kept very clean, that's about 100 yards to the west of the beach house. If you're looking for a great, quiet beach getaway, this is the place.

Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd stay at Annette's Funautical Fantasea and it did not disappoint. It backs up to a large field, has excellent views of the beach and is far from the crowds you typically find farther down towards Crystal Beach. Plenty of breathing room and privacy between next door cabins. Perfect for a max. of 4 guests with 2 private bedrooms. Colorful and cheerful. Swede's Realty was friendly and responsive as property managers.
