The property was well-maintained, and we had everything we needed for our stay. You can see the thought-out process of putting this property together and the care that goes into it. We loved the openness of the kitchen, living area, and loft bedroom. It felt very homey, and we loved the closeness we felt while staying there. Mermaid Manor had everything we needed for a great family getaway and communication leading up to our stay was excellent. It's a brand new, beautiful, clean house that had plenty of room for the four of us. The beach was a short walk away. The kids enjoyed hours of playing in the sand and surf, and they also enjoyed the pool too. The kitchen was well equipped, and there's an ocean view from the balcony. Thanks for a great trip and great memories.

4th of July long weekend

The house and location were perfect. Short walk to the beach and could view the ocean from the deck. Very happy with our stay and the owners are very nice and quick to respond. :)

Rental was nice and well stocked, but had shower gel in cubby floor that was sticky. Home was quite a way from any other family friendly activities or eateries.. other than the beach, and a small playground/pool area. Weather was cool for part of our stay so that made it more of an issue. Took the ferry to Galveston Beach for more to do, but while this is fun and has ocean/dolphin views, the wait time could be alot. Kids loved the loft bedroom and unique stairs!

Christmas at the Beach

We had a really enjoyable time at this property. Everything was very clean and nice. Communication with property owners was excellent and they went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. Would recommend this beautiful home!

It was a great time and overall experience from start to finish. Quiet community/villa, the beach was well within walking distance of the house, with a very minimal crowd on the beach. The house was very cozy and well maintained. Definitely plan to hopefully make this a summertime tradition!

Family beach trip

Nice house in a nice well maintained neighborhood. Very easy access to the beach. The pool was great for the days we couldnt go to the beach because of the hurricane. Our host was great, very quick to resopnd and helpfull.

All the little things….

All the little things about this property, made it an amazing stay for our girls trip! It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and located away from all of the wild beach goers. We loved everything about it and look forward to coming back on a future visit. We had one issue with the key and the front door lock, but the host was quick to come by and get it fixed for us. We appreciated the quick response!

Fantastic!

The house was super cute and clean. Very well stocked! Owner was quick to respond and allowed for an early check in. We were VERY happy with the house itself! I was wishing for blinds in the bedrooms at night. Beds were super comfy though, as was the couch!Only complaint is the water source next to the house (a pool maybe?) was gross and green.

Perfect birthday trip!

My boyfriend and I have birthdays very close together so we booked the house along with some friends to have a little birthday getaway. The house is located about a block from the beach, within walking distance. It was very clean, the couch and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had every dish you could need to cook with, and some basic food items such as spices and cooking spray etc. Plenty of seating. The outdoor shower was so wonderful for finsing off after the beach! 10/10 will be staying again!
