New to the rental market in spring of 2022, Golden Eagle Landing is a modern mountain home at the edge of Leatherwood Mountains Resort. This 3 bedroom, 3 and a half bathroom home, is situated at the end of a private ridge. Expansive windows in the great room take advantage of the long-range panoramic views, offering changing and dramatic scenery all year long. This new home was built to high standards, with custom woodwork, modern appliances, and beautifully appointed bathrooms. The well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with Bosch appliances, makes easy work of cooking up a meal to remember.

This home, makes for the perfect get away with friends and family, sleeping 8 between three bedrooms. A bunkroom featuring custom built extra-long bunk beds and a king-sized bed is perfect for a young family. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, in addition to a centrally located powder room, for maximum comfort and privacy.

Enjoy multiple entertainment spaces, including two decks, a great room, and media room with wet bar. The upper timber framed covered deck features a gas grill, outdoor dining for 8, and the perfect seating area to watch the sunset. The lower covered deck has a luxury hot tub and expansive long-range views within easy access of the media room and wet bar.

What an amazing place. The home is beautiful and has everything you need to enjoy some time in the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, the furniture was very comfortable, the hot tub was warmed up and ready for us too. We loved the amazing views and the fishing pond down the road. We took our family of 5 on the kids first trail ride and each night drove down to walk around the barns and check out the beautiful horses. Highly recommend this rental it was wonderful.

The perfect get away to relax!

This is a beautiful house that has all the commodities of a city home in a peaceful environment with remarkable views. Everything was perfect.

Sept. mountain getaway

The staff and everyone we interacted with so very helpful. We will be back when western North Carolina recovers from the devastating effects of hurricane Helene. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a peaceful relaxing vacation (but still with amenties)

An incredible Oasis in the Tree tops

My wife and I had a wonderful time with 2 other couples for a peaceful getaway weekend. We just hung around the house and enjoyed the views and a passing storm while sitting on the covered porch. The house is perched on a knoll and is a very private and quite place to decompress.

Tremendous potential

The place was as advertised in terms of pictures and amenities. Unfortunately we dealt with some issues, one related to sewage smell circulating throughout the venue, specifically at night. The bigger issue was that there was no water for most of a day. The property manager and team were responsive and were able to fix it by evening. But also we paid premium rates for a premium experience and the management did not make any effort to acknowledge we had lost some of that through our stay.
