We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean and the pictures are an excellent representation. The kitchen was well stocked. We were impressed with the automatic blinds over the windows in the living room that close during the bight part of the day and open later. The decor is top notch. Gary was responsive with the few questions I had. The dock is in good shape and easily handled our 22 foot boat. It's nice having the boat ramp across the water. We would definitely be willing to stay here again.

Exactly as portrayed in VRBO! Easy check in with a great kitchen. Loved having the grill and outdoor dining tables. Definitely recommend renting a pontoon boat for a great time on the water! Would definitely come back!

The three levels all looking out on the water and the Sunsets were Magnificent. More than enough TV's to get football and a couple of video games we brought all going at once.

Amazing!

The property has been well maintained and very comfortable! Plenty of room for everyone…for a family of 8, we never felt cramped! Loved the sunsets and the nights by the fire as well as the convenience of the dock and marina to go boating during the day!

Relaxing space

This was our second time here. It's an ideal space for a small group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable sleeping spaces. Very well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake.

Family vacation

We had a great time. Gary was very attentive to any questions we had. The house is very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. All the appliances are updated and there is an excellent grill on the deck. I would definitly recommend this property.

Our Annual Road Trip

For our annual road trip we chose KY because we never been there. It's a beautiful with a beautiful that accommodated our large family. It had everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets. Great hosts. We highly recommend.

Family Memorial Weekend

Beautiful home with gorgeous sunsets. Loved the three floors each with their own full bathroom. Private boat dock was nice to have, but be in shape for that staircase. 😬 Gary and Theresa were great host and very quick to text back with any questions we may have had.

Very relaxing

This property was exactly as it was listed. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. The owners were very helpful and even addressed an issue with the power on the dock for us so we could utilize it and the lights during our stay for fishing. Great week of relaxing and fishing! Would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t ask for a better stay!

Our family trips for the past few years we have gone to Lake Cumberland. This was our first trip to Lake Barkley and it was everything we were hoping for. Gary and Theresa contacted us within a couple hours of checking in to make sure everything was okay. The house had everything we needed. Beautiful home!

Golf trip

The house was perfect. The weather on Sunday turned off rainy but we made the best of it. The house has a great area in the basement with pool table etc. thanks again.

Beautiful home for our extended family vacation

Our family had a wonderful experience at Sunset Cove. There were 6 adults and 5 children, ages 4 through 15 and plenty of space with the multi-levels, each offering cozy gathering spaces in addition to a very well equipped kitchen, roomy bedrooms and a bath on each floor. We used the upper deck most evenings to enjoy the cooler weather and sunsets. If you are traveling to the Lake Barkley area I highly recommend staying at Sunset Cove.

We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The large windows overlooking the lake made for some gorgeous sunsets. Plenty of room to spread out. Enough room for all 7 of us to eat dinner or watch TV together.Morning dips in the lake made the heat & humidity bearable. Sunset swims were breathtakingly beautiful and the perfect end to the day.Showers were hot. With 6 adults rotating through showers, we never ran out of water.

Labor Day Weekend

This house is beautiful! Plenty of space and beds for our group of 8. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the pool table downstairs. Having dock access is a must for us, so this house also met that criteria. As other reviews have said, there are a lot of stairs, but we didn’t have a problem. Great weekend at Lake Barkley! We would definitely stay here again!

Sunset cove

Property was very clean and well maintained .the owners Gary and Teresa were very friendly and accessible if we had any questions. There is a lot of stairs to the boat dock and the drive is a bit of a challenge if you are pulling a boat. The Harper House restaurant has some of the best food you will find anywhere. Overall we had an awesome time

Wonderful Lake Getaway

We had a great time at Gary's property. We reached out to him once with a question and he was very responsive and helpful. We cooked at the house quite a bit and found the kitchen to be well stocked with staples (cutting boards, silverware, crock pot, coffee pot, pots & pans, etc.). We loved the dock access and the kids were able to jump off and swim around and fish and have a generally good time.

AWESOME VACATION

The property was amazing and very clean. All the necessary goods were there. The household utensils were Excellent. The spacious rooms were Excellent. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and then some. Would DEFINITELY RETURN TO THIS HOUSE. DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING. GREAT HOSTS
