Great pool, house could use some maintenance

Comfortable spaces, beds were a bit firm. No hooks in the bathrooms for towels, clothes, etc. Closet in smaller primary bedroom had no shelves or anywhere to hang anything. Could have used 2 more luggage racks - one more in each primary room. The lanai could use more lighting - ambient Edison bulbs or something. The kitchen worked well. Liked that there were many seating options to choose from. Spent a lot of time in the pool. A key pad to the garage door would have been nice. It was hard to find the house at night - the house numbers were not obvious, and they weren’t on the mailbox either.

Terrible

Hot water heater broke twice. 1st one was installed poorly. Upon looking at house found black mold in bathrooms. The house needs alot of love. Electrical issues in every room.

Nice layout

Overall, we loved the layout of the house. The Kitchen, and Great room being the highlights. Kitchen had just about anything you would need.Bedrooms were also nice with the exception of one that had no dresser. Because 2 people couldn't be there we simply did not ise that room.We had issues with 2 of the showers giving hot water. Suspect they need adjustment in the faucets since we could get jot water from the shower off the hall and other faucets. If all of our party had been there this would have been an issue.Were concerned that no cover was on the bathroom switches in the bedroom off the hall. Also the other bathroom had an outlet full of paint making it useless.Were going to use the pool, but the water was cold and more of a concern slimy. pump was running, but it didn't look like the pool had been cleaned in a while.With some small maintenance this beautiful house could be a real standout.

Palm Harbor

The house was roomy. There appeared to recent renovations but not the best quality. It was clean when we checked in. The check out instructions required us to do a lot of the pre clean work despite being charged a considerable cleaning fee. Communication with the owner?/contact person was concerning. We had an issue with access to the property (we were unfamiliar with the lock box) we arrived at 9:45pm. I texted the # given to us for contact and he did not answer till the next day. Luckily we were able to figure it out and didn't have to make alternate plans for the night. The location of the property was very good if you are looking for an area convenient to Dunedin

Family fun

The house was clean and was a not as nice as pictures but still good. We loved the pool and it was a great location to lots of beaches. We had an issue that was disappointing but the owner was great. He dealt with it quickly and was accomodating. We had two families and my mom. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed our family getaway.

Palm Harbor stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for our family needs (6 adults, 5 kids). The pool was the hot spot for sure. Kids loved it! Salt water pool and kept the heat very nicely. The homeowner also provided beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers for the beach trips which was very nice and convenient. There were a few things that went wrong over our stay though. After day one, the fridge wouldn't hold cold temps. We had to use the freezer and coolers to keep everything as cold as we could. Had to consistently go get ice for drinks and food in coolers. The property manager was able to get a new fridge but wasn't delivered until Monday (day 4 out of 5 of our trip). Really wasn't a huge deal but as we were able to keep things cold through the freezer and coolers. After day two though, the AC went out. That was a bit brutal during the day and later evening. The property manager was able to get someone out to check it on a Sunday but it wasn't able to get fixed till the next day (our last day there). Both weekend days had no AC and was very uncomfortable. I will say though, the property manager was so responsive and gave his sencere apologies for the things that went wrong. He even compensated us back a portion of our trip costs for the inconveniences. Had the fridge and AC not had issues, the trip would have been 5 stars. I would rent this property again and work with this property manager again, just hopeful that there wouldnt be any appliance failures. Overall though, our family really enjoyed the stay here.
