The apartment was perfectly located for the event we came up for. Couldn't have had a better view for chromefest.
Check in was easy. Apartment was clean, tidy but had bare minimum supplies.
Comfortable beds, pillows and plenty of space for everyone.
Wifi didn't work.
Fridge is very small (slightly larger than a bar fridge) considering the apartment sleeps 14. Take an esky.
Fantastic little Coffee shop and pizza shop immediately downstairs to save yourself cooking.
Caesarâs Palace is in a handy location to the centre of town. We were able to walk everywhere.Unfortunately we found the check in process a little clunky with instructions being emailed at certain stages throughout stay, we also had to guess the last digit of the door code. It had not been cleaned thoroughly for our visit and there was rubbish left from the previous guests and felt grotty. The beds were comfy and the kids loved their bedroom however, staying here for the weekend was enough. There was also loud music playing from the oval for most of Saturday and the road outside appears to be a great place for hoons. The great coffee shop just below the accomodation kept us well caffeinated and we needed it!
Everything about the property was great except for two things. There was a very strong smell of human urine at the front entry to the building and standing on our balcony there was a very strong smell of cat urine coming from the balcony next door where it was clear a cat was constantly urinating on one particular plant that was very dead
A wonderful and a very comfortable place to stay. Very convenient to all the amenities, tastefully decorated. Spent most of the time enjoying the sites of The Entrance - Thanks.
There were 8 guests staying at the property. The property does sleep 14 people, however only 6 bath towels were provided. We then had to go ans buy more bath towels. There was also half a roll of toilet paper available in the main bathroom and another half a roll in the ensuite. This was certainly another thing we had to buy as there were 8 people staying in the property for 2 nights. There were strict instructions on how to leave the property on departure (clean bbq etc) however, there were empty bottles of spray and wipe Ajax found in the drawers. None that we could use adequately to clean the apartment. The East Coast Getaway staff were not helpful on arrival/check in. I had to call more than 3 times to receive check in details. Check in was 2pm and I did not receive any information on how to check in until 4:30pm. This was not acceptable. It was lucky I had arrived late and did not have to hassle the office for too long. Once we received check in information we arrived at the apartment. There was no key to unlock the door just a pin code entry. The staff at East Coast Getsways had incorrectly written how to correctly input the code to enter the apartment. Another hassle we had to deal with. Overall, the apartment itself was very lovely, but the services were not adequate. I did not expect to make so many purchases for things I required for a 2 night stay.
