Cozy lake Cottage

Venez découvrir notre chalet confortable situé à deux pas du magnifique lac Wabamun !!

Nos atouts majeurs :
- Grande terrasse extérieure avec de nombreuses places assises, une table et un barbecue à gaz
- Accès au lac avec hangar à bateaux et ponton
- Foyer extérieur
- Cheminée à bois à l'intérieur
- Grand lit king size

Des bateaux et des canoës sont disponibles à la location sur place.

Il est possible de faire de la motoneige sur et autour du lac gelé, ainsi que de la pêche sur glace et du hockey si vous souhaitez dégager une zone.

L’espace boisé situé derrière le chalet (hors saison) est réservé à la marche et aux raquettes ; aucun véhicule motorisé, quel qu’il soit, n’y est autorisé. En haute saison, cet espace sert de terrain de camping avec des tentes Boler louées séparément.

Des caméras sont installées face à l’allée menant au chalet, une autre face au hangar/parking, ainsi qu’une caméra Ring au niveau de la porte d’entrée.

Le lac se trouve à 2 minutes à pied, en traversant la route et les voies ferrées situées juste en contrebas du chalet. Des trains passent régulièrement. Une taxe touristique de l’Alberta de 0,04 est ajoutée au tarif journalier.

This was the most stocked VRBO I have stayed at. The beach access and water toys supplied were great. I loved having coffee in the morning with a view of the lake. I look forward to staying there again.

Excellent stay for myself my wife and three young girls . When I picture the quintessential generational cottage I see this cozy cottage , it did not disappoint. Such an inviting casual atmosphere where we all felt right at home.The lake indeed is a very short stroll and the boat house provided every possible floaty the girls desired and provided my wife lots of shade on three gorgeous days of sun. The large front porch gave us a beautiful view of the lake and a place to watch a thunderstorm roll by.This would be an beautiful cottage also on a cool autumn weekend.The hosts have made available every item you would find in your own home and then some , including the coffee and condiments. Would definitely request a stay here again , in any season.

Great place to stay

I love the gated deck! This was the second time we have stayed here! It is great to have access to the dock. My pup had the best time bouncing in the lake around the dock. We will be back again next year!

Loved our stay at the cozy cottage. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. The dock on the lake and the paddle boards were a big hit. Really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Would definitely return!

Wonderful location

My only complaint was the boat launch was difficult to get my canoe onto, but everything else provided at the boathouse and cottage were perfect.

Nice, fully outfitted, clean cabin.Lake & dock is just a walk over the road and train track. There is no sand beach, but the lake is sandy and shallow, and there are a lot of water toys (paddle boards etc) in boathouse.

Comfort cabin

Very cozy. Lots of amenities and clean. Huge deck with a great view. Wonderful indoor fireplace and huge outdoor fire pit with a great supply of wood. We would come back again for sure.

Like visiting a friend's beloved family cabin

It's clear this is a well-loved and well-used retreat and we had a cozy, restful time. We appreciated the abundance of supplies and comforts inside the house as well as the comfy couches on the spacious deck. We knew there were train tracks nearby, so we were mostly prepared for some noise. Some trains were much louder than others, though, so something to note if one is a light sleeper. We were fine, and the king bed is very comfortable!

Excellent spot!

Responsive communication, excellent amenities. It was practical and safe for our young kids (18 months & 3 years).They loved the large front porch which is gated and locked. They have all the extras ready for you; from tinfoil to Jenga. The lake was easily accessible. Highly recommend for any and all families looking for a quality lake getaway.

Cosy Lake Cottage

Just as the name says - a cosy cottage at the lake! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the host had decorated the cottage for Christmas - even had a Christmas tree! They also supplied ample fire wood to have the indoor fire place going all day and well into the evenings. Great experience. Thank you.

Memorable

Everything was exactly as I expected/hoped it to be. My kids (11yr girl, 13yr boy), husband and I had fun playing the lawn games, going to the doc, floating around the lake, swimming. It was relaxing sitting by the firepit when it was nice and by the wood fireplace when it was rainy. It's a short drive into town if you need anything. We rented a pontoon boat for half of a day. Great memories! Brenda was so easy to deal with for check in and booking confirmation. Would definitely go again.

Girls weekend

Had a great time celebrating my daughters bachelorette! We were a bit taken back when we first got there not realizing there were campers also rented out close to the cabin on the property. It turned out to be a non issue as it is set up so well we hardly noticed each other. The cabin is incredibly set up with everything you can imagine. It was super clean and location excellent. Many memories made over the weekend. Can see myself coming back and renting cabins and campers for a nice little reunion. Highly recommend!!
