By The Bay Beach House is located in the heart of Birch Bay. Just one street up from the beach + ocean (a 1-2 minute walk!) with multiple public beach access points.
There is a salt water canal right behind the house that is fed and fluctuates with the ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private, upper front porch out front. Relax + hang-out in the hot tub, play yard games. Walking distance to everything! and a 30 second walk to the infamous "C shop! "

NYE Girls Trip

We stayed over NYE and the location, property and all the amenities were exactly as listed including the hot tub! Only a short 2 minute walk to the beach, great location. What a great trip, we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Michele for sharing your beautiful beach house. We will definitely be back!!

Home away from home!

Pictures do not do this home justice, it is warm, comfortable and inviting. Location was perfect, close to everything you need, quiet & safe, the beds are great, kitchen is fully stocked. Tons of books to read, movies to watch, hot tub to enjoy lots to space for everyone.This was our first Christmas away from home, family and snow so we weren't sure how we would feel. When we walked in and saw the house decorated even a TREE we knew that they had gone the extra mile for us and it set the tone for a wonderful holiday!We highly recommend this VRBO and would most certainly go back when in the area again.

Great Getaway!

We had a great stay at the cottage - walks on the beach, seashell hunting and then warming up in the hot tub! The house was clean and exactly as described. Lots of games, toys and activities for the kiddos so the parents could relax and read a book! Would definitely come back!

Great space and location!

We really enjoyed our stay - it’s a great space with an open living area, kitchen, backyard (evening sun), hot tub, fully stocked with essentials and more. Perfect location as the beach is only a block away. Host was responsive and accommodating. We would return!

Comfortable and “homey” fully equipped house near the ocean

We loved this house as it was exactly as advertised with a spacious equipped kitchen and open area for being together. Comfy beds, great hot tub, and lovely atmosphere. Close to the ocean. Our whole group of 7 friends said we would come again.

Great place for making memories!

This is an adorable, immaculate house, tastefully decorated, a block off the beach, with everything you could possibly want for couples, or a family with small children…and a host who was immediately available and responsive to all our questions. There were toys and games for kids of all ages, and treats for everyone upon arrival! The kitchen was fully stocked, and the outdoor shed was loaded with bicycles and beach stuff. Our two small granddaughters had so much fun, especially in the hot tub! Thank you so much, Michele!

Beautiful home

This home was a perfect stay for Thanksgiving weekend, only a block to the beach! The king bed upstairs is so comfy! Things I would keep in mind is back door lock is very difficult to work & better directions for Apple TV. Other than that we would most def rent again! Michelle is an awesome communicator as well!

Hidden Gem

What a delightful stay we had. The house was charmingly decorated, as well as, spotless. The creek was pretty and location is close to the beach but very quiet. Even the neighbours friendly! The owner was helpful and available. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Spacious on Terrell Creek

We were Grandpa & Grandma with 5 Grandkiddo's and there was plenty of space for all! The open kitchen, dining and living space provided meals, crafts and game together time. The outdoor lawn shoreside of Terrell Creek is small but adequate with outdoor fire ring, hot tub, patio with picnic table. Also a bonus storage shed filled with accessories! The beach is easily accessible and just a corner away.

Grt clean space close to water

House was cute and clean, as looked as advertised. Michele was a grt host to deal with - very responsive. Nice little touches like the welcome basket. Location is quiet but close enough to some good hikes and breweries. Would definitely recommend.

Family Friends Reunion

Stayed for two nights with our close family friends visiting from overseas. We’ve been seeing each other once a year with all of our children for the past 16 years, they now range in age from 17yrs-25yrs. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room which has access to a great back yard. We also took advantage of the hot tub! The house had everything we needed. Great location, central to shops and the beach! Our host Michelle was easy to get a hold of and always quick to answer any questions. We will most certainly be returning.

Lovely cottage in Birch Bay

Where do I start? This cottage was immaculately clean, well laid out, and decorated tastefully. It’s on a quiet street with other beach cottages and is a very short walk to the beach. The cottage itself is on a little estuary/creek that feels peaceful and gives an opportunity to watch the local water fowl. The C Shop (candy, ice cream, etc.) is very close and restaurants are another 10-minute walk away. It has very comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen with nice extras like cooking oil, salt and pepper, and coffee. Communication with our host was very easy. Definitely one of the best vacation rental experiences I’ve had.

We always dreamed of having a place by the sea- a spot where our children could create lasting memories of their childhood. It brings us so much joy knowing that other people get to enjoy it too.
