We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described, and the peaceful location made it the perfect place to relax. The kids loved it and are already asking when we can come back. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub and sauna were amazing. Marina was an awesome host who was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!

My family had a great time! We were close to everything, the house was comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in birch bay! And the fresh bread was amazing!

A great place for a family getaway

The best thing was the hostess, who really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The next best thing was the jacuzzimy kids loved to soak and chat and catch up. For the number of adults, we were, the sleeping arrangements were a little tight, but for a few days it was fine. We had a sand castle building contest on the city beach and enjoyed the state park for paddling and kayaking.

Excellent stay

We had a great stay at the Farm House by the Bay. Thoughtful touches from the owners including local treats (Natalka’s Cakery was especially delicious). Home was welcoming and the amenities (like the sauna!) were great. Enjoyed lazy mornings on the covered patio.

The farmhouse was clean and well equipped with many amenities including hot tub, sauna, entertainment center, and exercise equipment. The hosts were attentive to our needs and very gracious. Kitchen was well stocked although oven wasn’t working. Hosts went out of their way to accommodate by having a portable oven for us to use and we did the best we could to adapt.

Simply perfect stay!

We had an enjoyable family getaway at Farmhouse by the Bay. We travelled with a toddler and a baby and this home had everything needed and more for us to have our relaxing, enjoyable time as a family. This was a much-needed getaway to just relax and also to celebrate my husband‘s birthday and host some family & friends for a barbecue and dinner. Our toddler had plenty of books and toys to keep him busy and engaged. Large projection TV made for a real enjoyable movie night.The fully enclosed private backyard was great for some campfire and s’mores, some games of cornhole and just lounging on the deck.Used the large outdoor table and seating area to have our meals. The beautiful, serene atmosphere and green backdrop was so welcoming. Outdoor peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect coffee experience in the morning. Varieties of different birds come to the feeders and the bird water bath in the front gardens. There are some squirrels that came to visit the birdhouses as well! Our toddler enjoyed watching them!Books on backyard birds and local wildlife were very useful to identify our visitors.The tub was luxurious spa - like experience in the primary bathroom suite.Luxurious, 100 % cotton linens in every room made for comfortable sleep.The house also has plenty of books and reading material, board games and puzzles to have a family night in. Kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with everything and more to cook our meals.Plenty of cookware, serving dishes, glassware, silverware, spices. Toddler-safe, durable bamboo dishes and cups are great options to have as we didn’t have to worry about broken dishes.We also went to Canada for some delicious donuts and sushi and a family pool. This home is so close to many restaurants and coffee shops. British Columbia is just few minutes away over the border to explore and enjoy other cuisines and cultures.We made use of the sauna spa/ hot tub. Spa robes and plenty of towels are provided at the house.We made some great memories as a family!! Thank you! We will be back!!

Beautiful beach trip

Absolutely wonderful stay at Birch Bay for a family of five! Marina was a gracious host and baked fresh sourdough bread for us! Wonderful communication during the visit. Kitchen was well appointed and had a plethora of coffee supplies. My family cannot wait to come back here again to hot tub, sauna and beach comb!

We loved the house as soon as we walked in. The decorating was adorable. We fell in love with the backyard, just wish we weren't so busy with a wedding that we could have used it more. Loved this place!

Wonderful weekend at the farm house

Our stay here was wonderful! The house had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was fully stocked,beds were super comfortable and we really appreciated the fact that all the bedding was 100% cotton. The sauna and hot tub were an excellent addition especially that we were staying in January. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family and would love to be back again.

Perfect Cozy getaway!

Beautifully decorated… very clean! Lots of personal extras… every detail was so thoughtful! Fully stocked with everything you would ever want or need. The owners went to great lengths to make our stay perfect!

Farmhouse by the Bay

Great stay

We had a great stay at the Farmhouse by the Bay. My family and I made great use of the hot tub and the sauna. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and our three kids. They had lots of outdoor equipment that would be fun to use during warmer weather. The hosts for the home go above and behind to make sure that you are comfortable and enjoy your stay.

Great place that beat expectations

We thought from the listing the place would be just fine for us but it signficantly exceeded our expectations. Some short term rentals look better in the listing than they are in real life - this was just the opposite, better in person. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The hosts were outstanding with their communications and we were 100% happy.

Amazing Host and House

We had a wonderful time in Blaine. The house is beautifully furnished with particular attention to all the details for the best comfort. It was clean, tidy, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk down to the trail by the bay. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen-appreciated the coffee and tea. Communication with the host was great. Would highly recommend this wonderful house!

Wonderful Getaway!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay at during our birthday and anniversary weekend. Our host made it very special for us with dessert and freshly baked bread made ready for us when we arrived. This is house is such a gem, it's very private, cozy and comfy for all of us. Everything was super clean and the outdoor area was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to others. Truly excellent!

We loved everything about our stay, from the property's amenities to the thoughtful personal touches by the host. I really can't recommend this enough. The ambiance and privacy of the backyard was amazing, the fully outfitted kitchen was amazing, the comfortable beds were amazing... Really an exceptional stay. You feel like you are a guest in a home, not a rental property.

Cozy vibes!

Such a great cozy home! The weather was cold and rainy during our stay and it was the perfect place to be- enjoying the amazing hot tub and sauna, snuggling in the living room to watch a movie on the big projector screen, taking a walk to the beach when the rain lets out. The host clearly put their heart into this home- everything is well-stocked, clean and thought-through. A sweet welcome basket greeted us upon our arrival and they were super quick to response to any questions we had during our stay.

Amazing property

This is our to go to location to get away from home. This is not the first time we are staying at the property and it never disappoints. Hosts made sure that any need is met when it comes to toiletries, kitchen or anything else may think they need. Furniture is super comfortable. Everything is in a like new condition. Hot tub and Banya are there for your enjoyment and it is all covered so you can enjoy in any weather. I recommend this stay for everyone who is looking for a good location, comfortable stay for a fair price.
