Annual girls getaway

We had a great stay despite the wind blowing so hard that we stayed inside the majority of the time. The house was comfortable and afforded us the opportunity to be together, which was the purpose of the trip.

First visit to Granbury

The house is great, the views from the living room and deck are awesome. The road back to the house is a little rough. I wouldn't recommend bringing a limited ground clearance performance car. The hot tub and outside fireplace are great. In warm weather, the dock would be amazing. It was quite cold on my visit so water sports were not on the agenda. I would stay here again.

Slice of Heaven

We had a Ladies retreat, and it fit us perfectly! We were so cozy sipping our coffee on the patio each morning watching the sun rise with the beautiful Lake in front of us. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Beds were very comfy, house has a great layout and flowed wonderfully for us. Had an extra fridge so we use 2 and the patio was perfect for grilling!

Great property!

We had an amazing time. This property was all that it said it was and then some. Located in a little cove so swimming and relaxing in the water was worry free. We were able to park our boat and two jet skis right at the dock so it was easy to take out on the open lake. The owners were easy to talk to and responded quickly with any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back out to enjoy this property again.

Beautiful Home

This was a beautiful property and the owner was great with communication. Our kids accidentally left an item for the baby behind and he was great at helping us locate and get it back. Will be returning to this property in the future!

Just Right

Clean, well appointed lake home. Very nice outdoor seating options with large fireplace. Great boat dock with a fun slide for the kids. I would suggest this to anyone that wants all the lake options on a budget.

Girls weekend

The place was very clean and they had everything we needed. It was very roomie and comfortable. It made for a very relaxing weekend. Property manager was very polite and helpful. We will definitely book again.

Spring break

We had a blast with 8 people. It was cold but the house cozy. Dock set up was spot on to allow th foods to fish and have fun. We were even able to bring our boat and no issues. We used all the amenities and no issues. Even looking forward to trying to rent the house again over summer for another family trip.

Such a fun weekend!

We had so much fun at the property. The owners were very communicative and responsive. Being on the water was great! The outside stairs could be considered a workout. Hah! We had a blast!!

Great Lake House!

The lakehouse was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone and everything was very clean and kept up nicely. Lots of steps from the patio to the dock, my legs definitely got a work out but worth it! The only negative to us was the road getting to the house was horrendous! The county or city really needs to address this for the amount of homes in this area we couldn't believe how horrible the road was. The only other thing is we wished the dock would have had a ladder to climb up instead of having to walk up the slippery rock staircase in the water.

Fabulous family getaway

Brent provides over the top service! He was so responsive to our every question and even offered late check out because they didn't have guests checking in the day we were leaving. This was a perfect getaway to spend time with our kids and grandchildren. We rented a pontoon and it was great to be able to come back to the house for lunch. The kids took full advantage of the the slide and swing out into the lake. This grandma even went down the slide! Beautiful home to make memories in! Thank you for your hospitality, Brent & Melia!

Cousins weekend

We had a wonderful weekend gathering for a cousins reunion! The tall windows are gorgeous and really connect with the outdoor area and the open living and dining area gave us plenty of room for all to visit on a rainy night inside. But if it’s not raining and you’re not sleeping on the comfy beds, you will most definitely be outside enjoying all of this amazing property. We got a cool mountain vibe overlooking the lake and enjoyed the privacy of the lot and all of the comfy furniture, our favorites were the two chairs on the top deck, sitting here all your cares just melt away! The fireplace area is lovely and the steps to the dock definitely look a little daunting but not so bad when you actually make the trek! It was totally worth it to hang out on the two levels of the dock even though the weather was still a bit cold yet for water sports. We would definitely stay again, the host was very kind and we were grateful for a late checkout, although even then we didn’t want to leave! Thanks for a great stay!

Fun summer vacation house

We rented this property for our annual friends lake weekend get together. The house was the perfect size for us, not to big but not to small. We spent most of the time either on our boat or on the dock. The dock was a great place to hang out on the water you could be in the water or on the dock and still be together. The water was down significantly but still plenty deep in the cove it’s located in. We jumped of the top of the dock and went down the slide even with cove being down. The only complaint would be the stairs to the dock, but the property is up front that the stairs to the dock are steep. We would definitely rent again!!

Sorority sister getaway

First off let me start by saying the house is beautiful and the area and views were amazing. However we did have a few problems while we were there, the major issue that we had is the cameras it says on the listing there is one on the dock and one on driveway however there is one on driveway,front door, two on dock and the one we had the issue with is the one that is pointing directly at the hot tub. The way the camera was on hot tub made us feel as if there might have been more on the inside not saying there was but we didn't feel at ease. The other issue was the upstairs bed was filthy when we got there and ended up have to clean everything before we slept, the last issue was not a big one but it said they had a complimentary seasoning cabinet and it did not it had salt and pepper and that was it and some of the dishes still had food on them.

Quiet Weekend with Relaxing View

Our group of six ladies stayed here for a few nights for a quiet weekend during the winter. PROS - Clean - Comfortable Beds - Good water pressure - Lots of outdoor seating - Good Wi-Fi - Complementary shampoo/soaps - Plenty of towels - Easy check in/check out - Good functioning utilities (stove, washing machines, refrigerators, etc.) - Clean water - Quiet neighborhood - Close to Granbury square, which has a few cute shops to browse. CONS - Couches a bit worn in and uncomfortable in places - Kitchen not stocked super well [Missing key items like large serving spoons, enough silverware (had to hand wash often)]. - Hot tub water not very clean; murky. (We still got in and the water was hot and enjoyable.) - The hot tub lid is VERY hard to take off and put on. (Probably not a big deal for two big guys, but us smaller ladies struggled.) - Limited on TV/movie options (Suggest to add Netflix or another streaming service) - The wood burning stove cannot be used. - Very rough road coming in...lots of pot holes. Just go slow and watch out. - Stone steps down to boat ramp are steep and plentiful. Not ideal for people with limited mobility. (It's a hilly area and raised up from the lake. Makes for a nice view, but just something to consider if you have someone in your group that doesn't have steady footing.) Overall, it was a good stay. We were comfortable, felt safe, and had plenty of room for the six of us. We were able to cook our meals without any big issues and we slept comfortably.
