Absolutely perfect getaway!This place did not disappoint. My husband and I had a wonderful stay with breathtaking views. We especially loved having our morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the private deck—such a peaceful start to the day. The pool and grounds were beautifully maintained, and Ilene is a fabulous host—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. We can’t wait to come back!

Great time in Granbury

We had a terrific time during our weekend in Granbury. The host was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and completely adorable! Highly recommend enjoying this place. But please, take good care of it because we will be returning soon :)

Romantic Anniversary Getaway

It is as advertised. Quiet property overlooking Lake Granbury. Watch from the deck, from the hot tub or the tranquility of the pool. We WILL be back. Highly recommended.

We loved it

This place is perfect. We were looking for a comfortable stay that we would spend the whole weekend at. The view is amazing everywhere; the hot tub, heated pool, dock, gazebo, and balcony. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, the sheets and towels are soft. It exceeded expectations, 10/10 will definitely be staying again

Cozy and Peaceful

Wife and I stayed here for a couple of days. It was a nice, quiet, and peaceful stay; which is what we were looking for. A great view of the lake and easy access to the city. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and luxurious!

We had the best time - very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for a weekend getaway. There was plenty of space for the two of us, and the finishes on the inside are lovely! One of our favorite things was to watch boats go by as we sat on the deck or floated in the pool. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful place, exceeded expectations!

My wife and I had a truly enjoyed our stay. The views from the apartment and patio are wonderful. The place is very well decorated, stocked and clean - and the bed was so comfortable! Having access to the pool and boat dock to watch the entertainment of the lake was a lot of fun. We also loved the privacy of being at the end of the cul-de-sac. Cliff and Ilene are fantastic hosts!

Absolutely Lovely

We had the best experience. The pool was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend. This is not a negative comment- but there's no ice maker on the property so I suggest bringing an ice chest if you'd like to have ice for cold drinks :)

Slice of Heaven

We have always loved our weekends in Granbury, but Captain's Landing was a bonus this time! BEAUTIFUL views of the lake were amazing to wak up to and enjoy throughout the day. The pool was so refreshing and fun to hang out and watch the boats go by. The owners let us use their boat dock which helped my husband since he fished each day. We will definitely go back!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was everything we needed and more. Ilene was incredibly kind—she even surprised us with a wedding gift! The home is absolutely adorable, and the views of the lake are some of the best we’ve ever seen. The deck is elevated, giving you a peaceful, panoramic view, and the many windows make you feel surrounded by nature even from inside.We loved the privacy of the detached room next to the pool—it felt like our own little retreat. The whole place gave us space to rest, recharge, and reflect on how good God has been to us.Thank you, Ilene, for creating such a peaceful and welcoming space. We truly felt the Lord’s presence here and are leaving refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Perfect for a relaxing get away!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The views of the lake are amazing. The apartment is modern, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. My husband and I could not have found a better place on the lake to unwind. We enjoyed the pool and the boat dock and loved having coffee overlooking the lake in the mornings. The owners are always available and accommodating. It is a short drive to the town square, etc, in a quiet neighborhood away from any hustle and bustle. A lovely weekend.

Peaceful Anniversary

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for our anniversary. This was the perfect place! It's beautiful, peaceful & serene. Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee each morning while taking in the views from the lake was my favorite. The owner thought of every detail when creating this little slice of heaven. Amazing Views!!

The place is exactly what we needed, just quiet and away from downtown for the weekend. Ilena made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything to get with her. I cannot say enough about the amazing views. We got to watch little bit firework shows. Only thing is Ilena and her husband live on the same property in separate house so if thats something that will bother you, then this is not for you.
