Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view but furniture in living and outdoor area soiled and uninviting. Very good kitchen. The property had a rat infestation with rats running along the balcony railing at night and fresh droppings each morning in kitchen and dining and living areas. We reported this but although action was promised we saw no response in our remaining time at the house nor were we contacted for update by the real estate company.

Mary, We are sorry to see your rating and review was not great! In respect of the pest comments - this property has a 6 monthly pest inspection & treating ect, it appears they were there just prior to your stay & after comment again to reinspect to provide outside baiting, rest assured we've had some amazing reviews since with no further issues. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a lovely holiday home. Very clean floors throughout and the living area was bright and airy. One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in at Crescent Head and we have stayed in many over the past 20 odd years. WiFi is excellent. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. However, there were a few issues. At the time of booking, the listing stated a King bed with linen supplied. This wasn't the case, it was replaced at some stage with a queen with no linen. The biggest issue was the lounge. We were disappointed that the lounge that was mentioned in a previous review had not been replaced before our stay. The guts of the lounge is sitting on the floor. No one could sit it in. The cushions on the lounge were grubby and smelly. We found the fridge was too small for 6 adults. By including a bar fridge would solve this problem. The smaller bedroom doesn't have an accessible powerpoint for the pedestal fan and wasn't able to open the windows, it was quite warm. There was no room to hang clothing in it's wardrobe as it was filled with folding deck chairs. It would be a 5 star property if these issues were rectified.

Unfortunately the ad did not feed through to this site and we have now ammended but yes the king bed was removed and replaced with new bedding, we are sorry about this. In respect of the couch - you can be assured we are now replacing this with a nice brand new couch for guests leisure. Mouldy curtains and kitchen drawers dirty floors. Had stayed here a few times previously and this was the worst I’ve ever seen it. Feels like no maintenance has been done for a while.

After two days in this lovely house I went and rebooked for another two weeks next year. It’s the perfect holiday house. Amazing location, Really well equipped and totally relaxing. Only complaint was lack of fans in back bedroom

Gorgeous view and relaxing house

We had a lovely week here at this tastefully renovated house. It felt very homey and we appreciated the way the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There were a few things that needed a bit of attention but we let the real estate know. We came to Crescent especially for the surf break but it wasn't working all week. We didn't mind though as it was so nice to just hang in the house and feel like we were enjoying the area
