This beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and spacious 3 bedroom home is just minutes from downtown Victoria. The kitchen and living room are open and perfect for entertaining with a fully equipped kitchen and french doors that lead to an outside patio with a sectional couch. Explore fabulous Victoria for its fantastic shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need for cooking up delicious meals. Coffee maker with coffee and filters provided as well as condiments and spices.

Living Room: Bright and spacious with sectional couch, 51" smart TV.

Bedrooms: All bedrooms are located on the second floor of the house. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, 46"smart TV, walk-in closet and master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has a queen-size bed and has a 46" smart TV.

Bathrooms: The main bath off the master bathroom is equipped with a shower and a large soaker bathtub. There is an additional bathroom upstairs, and a powder room downstairs.

Office: Large bright private office if you need to get some work done during your stay.

Laundry Room: Full-size laundry room with detergent etc.

Guest access: Guests have access to the main suite of the home. Basement suite tenanted.

Other things to note: We also supply, baby gate, children high-chair and children's toys.

Beautiful and clean home

This home suited our needs perfectly. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. Quick commute to downtown. Close ammenities. Without a doubt would stay here again.

Spacious Accommodation

Overall this house was very comfortable for our family’s stay over the Christmas holidays. A little touch up paint is needed and a few more dishcloths and towels would have been nice along with a potatoe masher and spatulas. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay!

A lovely home

Our family of five including elders stayed here for a week. It is a lovely welcoming home with comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen (we cooked many meals there!)

Great house for families!

My family and I stayed here recently and it was exactly what we needed. With three young children, the spacious house was a great space to have as home base. The hosts were very responsive and they even provided a high chair, baby gate, and pack and play which made travelling that much easier. The beds were comfortable and each room had a fan in it for warm nights. The location is easy to navigate and within walking distance to nice green spaces and playgrounds.

Very Comfortable Rental.

Wonderful property. It was very well laid out and comfortable for 6 adults with a nice kitchen and large dining table we used nightly for cards. The office was a bonus to us and we used it to store some of our stuff which kept the rest of the house much less cluttered. Steven was great and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. I would return there for certain.

Great House and Location

Booked this for a family wedding and it did not disappoint. Nice, quiet, 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 baths, beautiful kitchen, living, dining area combined. 5 minute drive to downtown or $15-$20 Uber, depending on the day/time. Or about 20-25 minute walking distance to downtown or 10-15 minute to local grocery/liquor/bakery and other amenities. Would definitely book this one again.

Perfect for 6 people!

We weren't sure ahead of time if the place we booked was going to be big enough for the 6 of us, but it certainly was. Small, private backyard for the kids to play in, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Kudos to the owners on design of outlets & computer HDMI hookup to the TV! The house had everything we could ask for. We had a problem with one of the window blinds, the owner responded right away, and they fixed the problem as quickly as they could. We congregated around the dining room table, and our only suggestion is to find dining chairs that recess under the table so they don't take up so much floor space. Highly recommend this home!

Fabulous house

The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very well supplied with extra paper towel, toilet paper, towels spices etc. The booklet provided with its features and things to do was great. Loved that they also provided face cloths and supplied a teapot when I asked about one even before I left home. The house is spotlessly clean and the upstairs laundry room was great. It's location was great...truly a 6 minute drive to Victoria. Stores are very near as well. Overall I can't say enough great things about this house. Would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Fantastic House

The house is in a great location, quiet street 5 minutes drive from the City Centre, It looks small from the outside but was lovely and spacious inside, 3 big bedrooms, everything you need, we stayed 5 nights, I wish it was a lot more. Could not have been cleaner and is very well maintained. Would love to go back.

Excellent house for a family gathering

The house was perfect for a family gathering with five adults and a toddler. The house is very well equipped and the central kitchen/dining room/living room area is a great gathering place. Very comfortable beds and linens. The hosts responded quickly to any requests. Good restaurants, bakery and coffee shops nearby. Very highly recommended.

Great location!

We chose this property because it allowed us to visit family nearby but still have our own space. Located close to grocery stores, shopping, and only a few minutes to downtown, this is a great choice for anyone who wants the Victoria vibe without the downtown noise and sirens. Access to the driveway for parking was much appreciated and although we didn’t use the kitchen for much more than snacks, it was spacious and well-stocked. I’d definitely stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Unhygienic interior, noisy location, combative host

We stayed in the Esquimalt property in July 2023, and it was a wholly disappointing experience. When we arrived with our two small children, excited for our first visit to Victoria BC, we immediately noticed the hairballs and dust bunnies floating around the corners of each room, and the grime and dust left on most of the furniture surfaces in each room. When we brought this to Jamie’s attention, he vehemently denied the possibility, saying “there’s no way my property is dirty because everyone leaves me great reviews on vrbo.” Also, the property is adjacent to the dumpsters and parking lot of a huge, run-down looking apartment building, where noise and cars constantly come from. If you care about hygiene or peace and quiet (especially during the next door apartment building’s garbage pickup day), I would not recommend.

So happy to be back!

This was our second stay in this property. It really felt like settling in at home. The property is beautiful and so welcoming and well cared for. The photos are completely accurate. The owners are gracious, helpful, friendly and incredibly generous with anything that you could want. The property has every amenity to make your stay happy and comfortable. The deck is so relaxing. You are close to everything but in a lovely and quiet part of the city. Our family simply loves staying here.

Great stay just outside of Victoria!

This house was wonderful and just as it looks in the photos online! It felt like a home, rather than a rental property and it even passed my white sock test (I wear white socks and walk around to see how black they get from unclean floors…my socks stayed white)!! Lots of extra towels, lots of extra toilet paper, and no skimping on garbage bags and paper towel rolls! Jamie was so responsive and accommodating prior to our stay as well as during our stay. She even put out the patio cushions for us! Sadly, it was pretty cold in the mornings and we were out and about all day, so never got to enjoy using it. The property is not in downtown Victoria, but I actually preferred it that way. It was literally a 7 minute drive into town and when we were done exploring, we were able to leave the action and relax in a quiet neighborhood. If I have to think of a con, I guess it might be that the master shower is a little small for me…but that’s mainly because I still shower my little one. Hot water was plenty and water pressure great. If Jamie ever allows small dogs, I’ll be renting this house when I bring my pup to Victoria next time!

Perfect for families

This home is really well laid out. We spent Christmas here - five adults and one ten-year old. We were snowed in by the storm, but the driveway had been shoveled when we arrived. A Christmas tree was set up and decorated in the living room, and we used the open-concept space to cook, lounge, and curl up by the excellent gas-powered fireplace. We did a lot of cooking, and were impressed by the cookware and kitchen amenities. Despite inclement weather, we were able to walk to a mini-mall on Bay st. Later, when the weather improved, we walked to the Gorge Inlet park, which was magical. With a foggy lagoon and wetlands hosting all kinds of waterfowl and willow trees, we were in heaven. Downtown is a 7-minute drive away, and the Spiral cafe and a bakery is about ten minutes away. Beds were very comfortable, with en suite full bath in the master and a full bath for the two upstairs bedrooms. There is a full laundry room upstairs. There is another toilet in the main floor. Finally, there is an office space at the front of the house for those who need to work apart from the crowd in the open part of the house. This trip was clearly in the winter, so we can’t comment on the back yard deck, but it was pretty all covered in snow. Highly recommended. Paul
