Located in Gorgeous Nanoose Bay B.C. This condo sits on the shoreline of Pacific Shores Resort. Providing all the amenities that make the best vacays... enjoy indoor pool, hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sprawling ocean front decks, fire pit, pickle ball court, kids play park, and endless beach walks, hikes and trails. Just a few minutes drive to Parksville, more sandy beaches and all the fun attractions such as mini golf, restaurants, parks, cute shops etc! The unit itself offers a king sized bed, and pull out twin bed in the room as well. Bathroom with deep soaker tub. Bright ocean views, a small kitchenette area complete with bar size fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (no stove or sink)... This is such a beautiful, quiet, secret, and magical location that you are going to love. I just know it.

Cute and convenient

The Flamingo Suite was lovely. The room was adorable and well-appointed. The property manager was very easy to reach when I had questions. And the location was perfect.

It was unfortunate that the spa and restaurant were not open.

We did not know that we could (or should?) check in at the reception desk. There was food available there and more information about the area. The room was very nice.

The bed was very comfortable. The deck and the view is unappealing to say the least. I enjoyed the coffee machine and the mini fridge but there wasn't any dish soap or anything to wash dishes (?!).

My husband and I were coming to Nanoose but when we got to Sceshelt on the 13th my husband ended up in hospital. We had to return home to Alberta. We already paid for the stay. Do you have a return available for us as we did not use the week planned for the holiday.

Fantastic getaway

The Flamingo suite is an oasis. The suite is well appointed and tastefully decorated. Although the patio is set back you still have a view of the river/estuary and can hear the birds chirping. The suite is bright and cheery with a Spa-like bathroom. The unit is tucked away from the main resort so you will have peace and quiet yet easy walking distance to the 3 outdoor hot tubs and very close to the outdoor fire tables. There is a beautiful walking path around the resort for a quick and easy walk before starting your day. The resort is a few short turns off the highway and close enough to enjoy dinner in Parksville or relax with take out after a long day of shopping in Nanaimo . Thank you for having me and all the special touches, I will be back.

The directions to the unit were very unclear . The email said 232b but later in the email it said 232a .As well the unit needs more towels and soap for the bathtub. Fixing the power so the circuit breaker does not trigger would also be key. The view of the sunset was lovely

The room was beautiful, however there is nowhere to put your clothes and the furniture in the room takes up a lot of space, that being said the room is beautiful and cozy, I was travelling with 2 adults (myself included) and my 22mo old daughter so I found it not very functional. The cleaners hadn’t cleaned very well, we found old food on the floor (my daughter almost ate it, thankfully I keep a close eye on her). The sink (only sink) in the bathroom and the tub are quite clogged so not draining well at all. The sink is located directly behind the door to the bathroom so again not convenient but for the price, this was beautiful. The owners did a very nice job of the room, however their cleaners need to step up their game A LOT!

Flamingo Stay

The one bedroom was clean, had a very comfy bed and was nicely decorated. Unfortunately the balcony is receded back from the others so the sun do not reach it and you can hear conversations from next door.

Amazing!!

Very clean, comfortable and amazing suite. Loved the location. The bathroom was incredible, like a spa. The amenities were outstanding. More details about amenities in the book would have been helpful such as, the propane fire pits are only available for use at 5 pm and later everyday. Otherwise we absolutely loved it! Would stay again for sure!

The name Flamingo Waterfront Condos does not appear anywhere. It’s called Pacific Shores. This is not really a condo. You have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink with no stopper, backing up sink, and no dish soap. The fridge freezer was not cleaned and it started leaking on our items. The bed was nice and comfortable. This is the DARKEST room I’ve ever stayed in! No sunlight ever gets inside the room or on the tiny deck. The deck is recessed and light and view is impeded by the other protruding apartments and decks. It is not comfortable to sit outside unless you walk about 300 meters around the building, down the stairs and along the trail to get to a seating area with a beautiful view of the ocean. I think all the light bulbs must be 40 watt. It is impossible for a woman to put on makeup. Mirrors are difficult to get near. You have to close the bathroom door to get to the sink. It was room 323 B.

To call this property a condo is misleading. It is a bedroom and bathroom forming part of a larger unit that is a 2 bed, 2 bath condo. Yes, we should have read the ad more closely but we were sold on the condo reference. The mini fridge had not been cleaned in a while and the small freezer compartment was part filled with ice and melted ice cream. The towel rail in the bathroom was missing and the unit was in desperate need of refurbishing. Another feature of this property that attracted us was the indoor pool but upon arrival we were told it was closed and under construction. It is advertised as a resort and spa, which does not accurately describe its current status. In fact we learnt that the complex had gone bankrupt and the various units were/are being sold to private buyers who, in some cases, rent to others. Had we known all this before booking we would not have chosen this property. The owner did provide some compensation for these deficiencies but we would have preferred to have received what we thought we were paying for.

Great location!

We really enjoyed the property . Surprised it was a resort as opposed to a small complex..The Resort grounds are a beautiful and the views and tides of the bay were stunning……First impression of the room ,it seemed dark but very comfortable, spacious and clean, Erb nice bathroom, nice small balcony overlooking part of the bay…..the kitchenette area worked out really well . Loved the artwork which helped brighten the room. Nice amenities with the resort- pool , pickleball, easy covered parking etc. Great location to nearby Rathtrevor Beach , and further such as Qualicum . Lots to explore in the area We enjoyed our stay to meet up with family who were camping at Little Qualicum Falls provincial park. We would definitely return 👍

My wife and I stayed at this property for a couple nights and it was everything we expected it would be. A very comfortable bed, great location for exploring Nanoose Bay and surrounding area.
