The cozy living room offers all that you need for a memorable gathering space here in the mountain. Vaulted cathedral beamed ceilings pair with gorgeous hardwood floors and the perfect amount of natural lighting from the many open windows throughout your chalet. Snuggle up on the leather couches which are perfectly sat around the gas faux log rock fireplace and mounted flat screen TV with Cable and complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for your enjoyment, this is the perfect spot for snuggling up and enjoying a movie night together as you warm your toes in front of the fire. Your property is two stories and fully furnished with easy and convenient access to all of your sleeping quarters on the upstairs second level including two spacious primary suites with amazing private bathrooms. All of your quarters are made up for your group with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels when you arrive for your vacation. Venture outside to find the most relaxing and serene private estate available for you complete with new decking and outdoor patio furnishings for you to enjoy grilling up your freshly caught dinner on the propane BBQ. The outdoor fireplace and private hot tub under the stars is where you will love spending your time unwinding in the evenings. For even more fun there is a mini putting green for the golf enthusiasts plus a half size basketball court for your group to enjoy within your fully fenced complex.

Great Experience at Moose Manor

We immensely enjoyed our time at Moose Manor as it was a wonderful experience. Big Bear Vacation’s Management was flexible with our check in process and responsive to our questions/concerns. Apart from a couple issues of wear and tear within the house, it was very accommodating. The location of the property was great as it was less than a half mile from Snow Summit, which was ideal for a busy weekend on the mountain. We will look forward to booking again next time we’re in Big Bear.

Great place for a big family

I can’t say much but it was an amazing stay. Super Close to the Main Street and Walgreens. We did have a problem with the water not draining in the Master bedroom, but that problem was fixed the same day. I did see clumps of hair in the master shower walls but other than those problems it was a great stay. We will be booking again.

Great Layout

The layout of this home is fantastic and meet our needs. From outdoor deck to indoor sitting options and plenty of bedrooms. The dishwasher was broken, a living room chair and the spa only has one jet that works. Otherwise, this was a very nice home.

It wasnt bad. Kinda pricy, The hot tub was a bit dirty and we couldnt figure out how to make it hot. Other than that it was ok. Theres no AC either.

Great home that required better preparation for our brief stay.

The home is beautiful & fun for our family w/ teenagers, but we were challenged w/ lack of expected basic supplies: coffee, coffee filters, dishwasher soap, paper towels / napkins. We also had to figure out the barbeque gas valve, the cable tv, the electric drapes which were not operating. We also expected the TV in the main billiard / kitchen area would be operational. Overall - we enjoyed our 4th of July Holiday in this terrific mountain home.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

So many advertised aspects of this property were broken or substandard. I paid a lot for three nights during a high season based on photos and owners presentation. So many false statements and photos. No hot water, broken appliances, unkept backyard, window shades don’t open. I repeat… No hot water!!!. Hot water heater was broken. I guess that means the bedsheets we slept on were washed with cold water from the last guess. I was totally embarrassed in front of my family and friends for choosing this place. Thank God they love me.

Summit Estates Big Bear House experience

We stayed at this property 9/3-9/5/21. Overall the property is comfortable. But there are few issues just not as expected. There was construction next door started making loud noise from 7AM - 5 PM from Friday - Sunday. We were not able to sit in the backyard have a conversation. There is no WiFi. But it is not a big issue for us. The house is quite old. there are things need to fix as the light in the front room, backyard all not working. The electric curtain in the front room also not working. There are ants in the kitchen drawers. We have to wash all the silverware before we use them. We were so excited for the spa, but the spa was quite filthy. So we have to call the management company come to clean up and refill the spa. It was quite stressful to try to deal with all the issues in such a short stay. We love the location and overall our family did have a good time. But we were expecting nicer place with the price we paid. Overall the house is good for family or friends gathering if they maintain the house in better and cleaner condition. Hope this help.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
