Great Getaway at Norris Lake

Our family had a great stay at The Fish House. Wonderful views from the spacious decks. Our kids loved going off the diving board into the lake. The house was well-stocked with things like extra life jackets, fishing poles and an ice machine. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My family had a great time enjoying the lake, and the peaceful setting made it even more special. It was the perfect place to unwind and make lasting memories. This was our second time staying at the Fish House and like before everything was fantastic. They added a new diving board down on the dock which was a big hit. You can’t find a more cozy house on the lake. Amazing beds and a deck that offers stunning views and plenty of room for all. We are already looking forward to coming back again next year!

Wonderful stay

Our extended family stayed here for a week over the Fourth of July and it couldn’t have gone better. There was so much room to be together both inside and outside. The dock was wonderful and there were great restaurants on the marinas close by. We will definitely book again !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house! The covered decks were our favorite feature — spacious, beautifully set up, and with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax and enjoy the views no matter the weather. The dock is great with chairs and a diving board the kids loved. It’s in calmer water perfect for swimming. Inside, the house was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of room for our whole group to spread out without ever feeling crowded. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was quick to respond and made everything easy. We come to Norris every year and have stayed in many nice houses but this one is our new favorite!

The house was gorgeous. but there needs to be TVs in every room.. I watch TV right before I fall asleep so it was hard for me to go to sleep.

We booked this lakehouse, and you always hope you get what you see online. This home was so beautiful and clean and the pictures don't do it justice. Our family, including the children had a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of space for the 14 of us, included all the little amenities that you need, ie: paper products, etc. We can't wait to go back. Norris Lake is gorgeous and this home is a great location to go to the marinas for dinner, or just for fuel.Thanks to the property manager for being timely in responding to my questions.

When can I come back?!

We just had the most incredible family weekend at this lake house! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The private dock was a highlight, allowing us to enjoy swimming, fishing, and relaxing by the water. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking family meals a joy. We loved gathering around the dining table for meals and sharing stories by the cozy fire in the evenings. Gorgeous Lake Vacation

Walking in the front door, the house was spacious, inviting, and beautifully furnished, but the highlight was walking out to the huge outdoor living space overlooking the lake. We took full advantage of three separate levels, each appointed with comfortable sitting areas along with plenty of dining space. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee while staring out over the tranquil waters of Lake Norris and every evening we gathered around the tables for dinner and drinks with friends. In between these hours we stayed cool in the refreshing waters of the lake and enjoyed swimming off the dock, which is situated in a peaceful cove with very little traffic coming in and out. We also explored several nearby coves on the wave runner, which we opted to rent during our stay. The house itself was very clean and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax when we weren’t outside. The owners were exceptionally responsive to our texts and questions during our stay and we will definitely rent from them again.

The Perfect Lake House

We have stayed in numerous houses at Norris and nothing compares to this one. We had 3 families staying there this week for a total of 12 people. One of my biggest complaints when we stay places is uncomfortable beds. All of the beds in this house are super comfortable and have fantastic views of the lake. We stayed during one of the warmest weeks of the year and the house was freezing. The air conditioning in the house was top notch. All of the furniture in the house was very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone to relax. The deck on this house is unbelievable. We spent most of our time at the house outside relaxing on the deck. This is the only house i’ve ever stayed in that had a commercial sized ice machine on the property as well. We kept two boats down in the water with no issues at all. The stairs going up are a workout but after long days on the water it’s good for you. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling down to Norris with a large group of people. We can’t wait to go back!

Sibling Weekend

This location was absolutely PERFECT for a weekend away with my siblings & their families. Large communal area, PLENTY of beds, huge table, a great amount of space to spread out... just so comfortable & in a beautiful setting. We're dying to come back now in the summer so we can actually enjoy all there is to do there outside. Late November didn't offer much. ;-) One enhancement I would recommend AT the property: Maybe label ALLLL the wall switches. LOL. There were soooo many. And 2 possible LISTING enhancements: Notify guests of the driveway, specifically in the late fall/winter months. Indicate when most things shut down seasonally. There is a lot of great information about activities, but most all were closed/out of season. We New Englanders are used to doing stuff outdoors in cooler weather & didn't realize so much they posted would be closed. Thank you SO MUCH!! We are very excited to possibly come back and enjoy the warmer months in the future!

Wonderful Outdoor Space

This was our 2nd year in this house. The outdoor space makes this house worth the money. We spend the majority of our time on the lake or on the porch. The porch has comfortable seating and many seprate spaces. We eat every meal outside. It's always very clean and the property manager is always very responsive. The stairs up from the dock are a little bit of a challenge but everything else makes it worth the stay.

Perfect for a family retreat

The fish house was the perfect place for our annual family lake trip. It is an amazingly beautiful house inside and out with high-end finishes and features everywhere. It has lots of great outside gathering areas with beautiful views that are well protected when it rains. The kids loved swimming off the dock. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and were able to keep it at the dock the entire time. If you are looking for a nice place to relax, this is it.
