Valley View Cottage is a Tiny Home in Wears Valley!

Valley View Cottage is a Tiny Home! It may be only 400 sq ft but it packs all the amenities that you need for your stay in the Smoky Mountains. This Tiny Home has a small fire ring outside with a park grill and a picnic table so you can enjoy the outdoors. You can also relax on the deck and listen to the frogs in the nearby creek. As you go inside the Tiny Home to the left of the front door there is wraparound seating with a dining table. The TV is located above the table. The couch and coffee table is to the right of the door. Walking straight into the Tiny Home is the kitchen that is fully stocked with all items to eat in if you so desire. To the right of the kitchen is a stacked washer and dryer. There is a hall closet to hang clothing or to store away your luggage. The bathroom has a standup shower (no tub). The bedroom has a king bed and more storage. In the living room take the stairs up to a loft where there is also a king mattress and TV (the overall headroom is 3 feet) it would be an ideal spot for young children or your teenagers. At the top of the stairs on the left is a small storage area for the loft area.

Great Spring Trip to the smokies. Family of 4 fit perfectly in the tiny house we rented for the week. We would visit again and plan to in the fall.

We love Wears Valley and hope that it never becomes commercialized like Pigeon Forge. The view of the mountains is beautiful, and I love the white fence with the horse and cows. Would definitely recommend them for anyone interested in a vacation in the Great smokey Mountains of Tennessee. It's a quiet, peaceful area with great views. The tiny home is perfect for my family of 3. We hope to return next summer.

This was my first time staying here and in a tiny house,my wife was kind of reluctant until we walked in, we both agreed this was probably one of the best stays ever. We stayed week before Christmas temps never got above mid 40's but it was nice and cozy the whole stay.Place was great, staff was great already planning a return and already reccomend to family and friends!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sites that have not been converted to tiny homes are roomie. Gravel sites, we were able to get on wifi twice in 3 weeks. If you were on the deck of the office wifi was ok. No laundry or bathroom facilities. Very expensive for what you get. Paid 50% more for 3 weeks than I do at a campground down the road for a month with better overall site. They are making a lot off tiny homes, so I expect them to convert most sites.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second experience with cove mountain tiny homes. Last year we stayed in southern comfort, this year we stayed in valley view cottage. The cabin was nothing short of amazing. Wonderful views, starter kits including tp, soaps, towels. We traveled as a family of 3 and my 5 year old just loved having her own loft bedroom, the stairs are scary but she did it. We couldn’t get the game table to work but that was ok, we were honestly too busy to care. I love the complimentary cups, such a wonderful souvenir. We loved going to the pool just down the road, just nice and friendly people working. It’s about a 20 minute drive to downtown PF and worth staying off the main road. If you are in the area you have to visit foothills parkway and go about 5-7 miles in park and just take in the views. 11/10 would recommend cove mountain any day! We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: Location was convenient & very clean Overall, site was as advertised except for a few items: (1) The wifi doesn't have sufficient bandwidth to carry the load for the number of guests/accommodations at this park. If you're planning on using the wifi to check in on your workplace while vacationing in the valley, forget it. (2) Ice-maker doesn't work, and apparently hasn't worked for some time (ice trays had been used to the point they needed replacing.) (3) The only bedroom (except for a loft with a 3 ft ceiling) had a large bed (sounds good),.... except the mattress was so big, that there was no 'walking room' on each side of the bed.... you had to crawl from the foot of the bed to the top. (4) Plumbing had issues.... (water accumulating in the bottom of the bathtub from a shower took over 10 minutes to drain, and the drain pipes under the sink leaked.)

The only complaint I have with this cabin is there is not enough things to cook with in the cabin. We didn’t have baking pans or mixing bowls. Also, the ice maker didn’t work. The loft was a bit claustrophobic but my 2 grown sons didn't seem to have a problem. Enjoyed sitting on the porch but could have used another chair for the fourth member of our party. Home was clean,well kept & stocked. Staff was helpful disseminating info but not so helpful when our rental car wouldn't start.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and area is perfect for vacationing but this cabin was missing a lot of amenities that was listed in the description. No outdoor grill, the wifi in nonexistent, the ice maker did not work inside refrigerator, no coffee table in front of the couch in the living room as pictured, no pot holders for dishes and only one dish rag and dish towel this would've been ok if you had a dishwasher but their isn't one. We have used this company before and have had great experiences if we decide to come back we will definitely choose a different tiny home.

The only thing I was disappointed in the tv's weren't working in the living room and bedroom. I contacted April at the front desk and she said someone would come out to take a look, however, the issue was never resolved. Also the property does not have an iron in this particular home. Might want to bring one from home if you're staying here. Otherwise, it was great away from the busy traffic.

Beds were comfortable and we did all out laundry before heading home. Cabin was very clean and kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to prepare meals. Will definitely be staying again.

Impressive

For being a tiny house we were very impressed with how much room there is. We will definitely stay there again. Would love to come back when we can enjoy the porch it was cold when we were there.
