Our lovely chalet is ready for you to enjoy. A beautiful light private space tucked into the stunning bush with large deck area to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and kangaroos. Only a short walk to town and the river. All the conveniences and comforts to make your stay amazing. Enjoy nature and have breakfast with the Kangaroos on the deck overlooking natural bush. It comfortably accommodates up to four adults, bunks are for children only.

The block is 5 acres and has another house as well, available for booking too, for large groups - we can accommodate you all!

The beautiful bush surrounds the chalet and provides a private, tranquil location yet so close to town. Walking distance! We have another home on the other side of the property, which is also available to book. There is a spacious decking area overlooking the bush and grass area that is frequently visited by kangaroos.

The chalet inside is a bright and modern and can accommodate up to four adults and has a bunk that is only for children. Equipped with all the modern conveniences for your bush getaway in Denmark.

It is a very special, unique location and recently updated and made even more special to accommodate our lovely guests. Just a short walk away is Denmark town centre, the beautiful river and a short drive away are a few of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast of WA. Just up Mount Shadforth Road we have wineries, cuddly animal farms and lots and lots of other fantastic tourist locations.

Our host was so lovely. Checked in on us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. Accomodation was lovely, so close to town and yet very peaceful. Will definitely stay again!

A nice place to stay

Spotlessly clean with a beautiful outlook. The rainwater from the tap was fabulous, tasted great. Really comfortable we enjoyed our stay.

The property is beautifully located just 2 mins from the city centre, the house was beautifully presented and very clean. Only complain was the smell from the previous tenant. Maybe a air spray or a house scent will do the jobs, apart from the smell the house was a winner, my kids and wife really loved the place.Nice rooms, ah if I want to be very picky then maybe the pillow can be replace as it was really really tired looking and too soft, maybe getting some expensive memory for pillow will elevate the sleep even more.To be honest I'm being Nick picky, my overall experience is definitely 5 star.Good job to the host.

Relaxing and beautiful

This place was amazing, we wanted to stay somewhere quiet but not far from town and it was perfect. It was very clean and tidy. We really loved the big deck to sit and enjoy the bush and wildlife. Totally recommend this property and we will definitely be coming back. Vanessa was a fantastic host and very helpful. We loved it here!

Good place and friendky kangaroo - just needs cushions on picnic table chairs as hard on butt after to long - air con not fully work - great shower pressure and hot. Small washing machine would be handy

Denmark Bliss

Could not have had a better presented property or host. Vanessa answered all my questions promptly and with a very friendly manner. The property is close to the town of Denmark yet set back on a quiet road. Property was exceedingly well looked after and I would not hesitate to stay again and I will highly recommend to any of my friends going down that way.

Beautiful location but could be cleaner

The house is in a lovely spot, close to town and surrounded by trees so you feel further out of town than what you actually are. Cleaning could be improved. Upon arriving the house has not been cleaned, I called the host who touched base with the cleaner who called me back to say the cleaner had read the schedule wrong and thought we weren’t coming until tomorrow. We were asked to leave the house for an hour and a half so she could come and clean, which was slightly frustrating as we were tired from travelling all day. We were refunded 50 for the mishap which was nice. Once we returned we found only the main bed had been made up with fresh sheets which was annoying because I was travelling with my mum, so I was planning on sleeping in the double bed but it had no fresh sheets, just the mattress cover with the quilt pulled up. Lucky the two single beds had sheets on them, not sure whether they had actually been changed or just pulled up but I took those off to make the double bed up for myself. I doubt the floor had been cleaned because I also picked up an Easter egg wrapper from the bedroom floor. The microwave was also dirty, my mum ended up cleaning that. The oven was dirty. The front door handle was dirty with some blood smeared on the frame next to it. This was all quite disappointing considering the cost of the cleaning fee and also one of the main reasons we chose this house was because of the reviews saying how clean it was.

I love being a host and absolutely love the great southern area of WA. Particularly the beautiful bush and beaches around Denmark. I love to come down as often as I can and spend a lot of time making sure everything is right for my guests. I have lots of guests return year after year and this is very satisfying for me.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I love that we are so close to town. We have a 5-acre block about a 10-minute walk right to the centre of town and the river. It is in its natural state and is so beautiful - home to many kangaroos who visit daily, very private and tranquil and so convenient for guests who want close access to town and the beaches and other tourist locations are only a short drive away too,

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our property is definitely unique. Such a large block so close to town home to kangaroos, kookaburra's and lots of other wildlife - it is a beautiful, typical Denmark oasis in very close proximity to everything. It is simply stunning, whether it be raining or on a sunny day, the decking area overlooks the bush and so relaxing and makes for a really enjoyable stay.
