Kulbardi Mia Mia: Accessible cabin, dogs welcome

Kulbardi Mia Mia (pronounced cull bardee myah myah) means "Magpies' Home" in the Noongar language of the local Aboriginal people.

This home is quintessentially Denmark, and one of the few Denmark holiday homes suitable for guests with mobility needs.
Ramp access to the front door, a wheelchair-friendly bathroom with grab rails, and single-level living throughout.

A favourite with families and groups for many years, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is surrounded by Karri trees with glimpses through the canopy to Wilson Inlet. The generous veranda with large day bed will entice you to relax and watch the entertaining birdlife. In the cooler months a fantastic wood burner will keep you toasty warm.

The home is fully self- contained, with linen supplied (except beach towels). The games, books, DVDs and jigsaws will keep everyone entertained!

Drive through driveway allows for easy parking of a boat, or caravan if you are looking for a break from your travels.

* There is front door ramp access and a bathroom to cater for elderly guests or those who require a wheelchair or walker.

HOUSE RULES:
- No smoking
- Outdoor fires are strictly prohibited by Denmark Shire, fines apply.
- No parties, events or Schoolies/Leaver's bookings
- Minimum stay: 3 nights (standard) and 5-7 nights (peak periods).

IMPORTANT DOG INFORMATION: Up to 2 dogs are allowed. However, please note this property is not fenced. You will need to supervise your dog outside on the lead for toileting and exercise (please pick up after your dog).
When you go out, you can leave your dog for a short while under cover on the house verandah but not recommended for dogs that can jump high over railings or tiny dogs that can squeeze under the railing gap.
As per the Pet Policy, dogs are not allowed to be left inside the house unattended. There are lots of dog friendly cafes, wineries and beaches you can take your dog to in Denmark.

PET POLICY:
Pet Fee of $80 per stay.
Maximum 2 dogs (not cats or puppies).
• Fully house-trained dogs only inside the property.
• No dogs on beds or furniture at any time.
• Noise must be kept to a minimum—excessive barking/howling is not permitted.
• Pets must not be left unsupervised inside at any time.
• Guests must bring their own pet bedding & food bowls.
• All pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in a sanitary manner. Extra fees apply if waste left.
• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage, inside or outside the property

FIREWOOD NOTICE: 
Due to a State-wide firewood shortage, firewood is not supplied during the warmer months November to April. The property is equipped with a reverse-cycle air conditioner ensuring you stay comfortable year-round. 
During the colder months (May–October), we do our best to provide enough firewood for two nights. You’re also welcome to bring your own dirt and bark free firewood or purchase firewood locally from hardware stores or petrol stations in Denmark. This approach helps protect local forests and complies with Western Australia’s biosecurity rules.
