Wonderful all around

We expect to book again b/c we were so happy with the accomodations. The decor is current and lovely. The layout worked well for us, too. The access to the beach, the boardwalk, groceries, restaurants, etc is fantastic. We have only good things to say about our experience.

Excellent place to stay!

This condo was amazing! Great location and beautiful & spacious inside! Truly a home away from home! The oceanfront view from the balcony was breathtaking! Condo was beautifully furnished! Only things I was disappointed in is that I would love to see a king sized bed in the master bedroom, rather than a queen. And although the furniture in the living area is beautiful, it wasn't very comfortable. Loved the location and would definitely book this one again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean, location is perfect, couple small issues Brooks and Shorey was right on it as usual. The only problem was the furniture in the living room is the most uncomfortable we have ever encountered. If you were only staying a week it may be doable but for a month or two no. I actually sat in my lawn chair, it was more comfortable than the wicker chairs sofa or what ever it was.

Good

The view was exactly what we wanted. The balcony furniture was very comfortable and was used a lot. The condo looked nice and the beds were also very comfortable. Had to call in maintenance multiple times though: black mold in one of the showers, dishwasher was running but not cleaning dishes, one of the bathroom sinks wasn’t draining, bathroom fan was gross, some outlets not working. Relatively minor mostly but annoying. The parking lot was a nightmare, it’s mostly very steep hill and not friendly to wheelchairs or carts. We enjoyed our stay but it was not exactly ideal.

Family vacation

The condo itself was cleaned and well maintained however the master bedrooms bed was not comfortable at all, the curtains did not help with keeping the room dark at all and the toilets flapper stop working halfway through our stay. The living room couch was not comfortable either and we had problems with wifi and the cable never worked. Being close to the beach and having chairs and an umbrella was a nice touch. Traffic was ridiculous and wait times for restaurants was an hour or more at times. In all, we enjoyed the vacation and will definitely be back again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this condo complex- the beach is amazing and there are fewer people here because the complex and the ones around it are smaller than 6 stories I think. The condo 3001 was good, but the living room furniture is awful. The couch has no sides so you couldn't really hang out and be comfortable on this couch. The whicker chairs are terrible, scratchy and uncomfortable- you can not curl up in a whicker chair to hang out or whatever. Mostly we stayed at the beach except in the late evening where comfortable furniture would've been nice. Also, there was a mattress in the master closet that was very stained and dirty so I am glad we didn't have to use it. Other than that- we loved it!

Good location but needs some repair and better floor cleaning

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoy staying at this location, but found the rental to be in a state of needed repair. For example, the ceiling is crumbling off in the bathroom. Additionally, we found that our feet were covered in dirt and sand within minutes of being in the unit. I have stayed at this unit before and it was not in this condition. The rug in one of the bedrooms was saturated with sand. Seeing black on your feet after minutes of walking on the tile was not encouraging. We will probably look for a different unit next time.

Great stay - dirty unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an overall great stay. The unit worked well for my family of five. Love the location, but we spent hours cleaning when we arrived. There was a pile, and I mean a PILE, of sand under the rug in the bunk room. It looked like it hadn't been pulled back and swept under all year. White powder in the dryer, food all over the trash drawer/bin, which just is not okay for a family with food allergies. Cleanliness was a zero, really, with hair on the master bath floor and shower, gunk in the washing machine, and food drips in the fridge. I know the cost of cleaning is passed on to customers, and I did not get my money's worth. Also, the most uncomfortable couch on the planet. We all hit our head on the wooden frame.

Great view and responsive management

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo but had a couple issues. Apparently there had been a water leak in several units the week prior to our arrival. A restoration company came out to fix it, but our unit was still drying when we got there. There were 19 industrial size fans still in the unit that were not removed until after the company could perform a moisture check and had room in their truck for them, which took two full days. For a family of six to work around 19 large fans was difficult, especially when we paid so much for this unit as we stayed six nights. The management contacted me multiple times a day though to try to get them out as quickly as possible. The issue definitely seemed to be with the restoration company. The management did offer to let us move rooms but the new room only had three beds and we were wanting the five beds in this unit so the kids wouldn’t have to share. They told us they hoped it would be resolved quickly that first afternoon we arrived, so we chose to stay and hope for the best. It was a little unfortunate though because you pay money to leave behind all those kinds of issues on a spring break family beach vacation like this one and we had to deal with it for two of the six days. We did have an issue with one of the toilets and management quickly resolved that though, so we were very happy with that. On the plus side, we saw dolphins from the balcony. The view is incredible! The umbrella and chair service was amazing and the employees that did that were so friendly! The decor is fun and coastal. Overall I would probably give this resort a try once more because I do think they tried hard to resolve our issues. It just might have been nice if they would have compensated for us having to deal with and work around the 19 fans and their ongoing restoration for two days when we paid so much for a beach front resort like this.

Sofa ruins this unit

That said we left early, only because the sofa in this unit is singularly the most uncomfortable piece I've ever tried to sit on. A shame because other than the master bedroom not having at least a queen bed the rest of the unit was furnished nicely. And comfortably. But the sofa ruined it for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and great property. There were a couple service issue that were addressed SUPER FAST! Staff was really friendly and courteous. Amenities were great. 1 of the best KITHCENS in this Building and we have stayed in 8 diff units. Available cookware and cutlery was decent. We always bring a super sharp knife and a deveiner. Could use more plates and microwave safe one. We tend to cook a lot dinner 3-4 days and go out the others so having a food kitchen was great! Bathrooms were standard size and nice. Con- Wish the MASTER HAD A KING BED. The couch in the common area was horrible. Uncomfortable is too nice of a word. Yes, we tried to used it when it rained or just hanging out. Lastly... place needs a good dusting but overall it was decently clean.

Nice place with great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great communication. Easy process. Condo was spacious and comfortable. Large balcony. My only complaints were the small bed in the master bedroom and the dishwasher did not work properly. I’d stay again!

Perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay! The bunk beds were perfect for our children. Everyone had their own space. The master bed was comfy. The unit was clean and very well equipped. The view was beautiful! Our only complaint was there was not enough seating on the balcony ( only one chair and an ottoman)...but we loved the room, and would stay again.

Fort Walton Competition Cheer Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as pictured and described. Very clean and stocked well with towels toilet paper and kitchen supplies. We were beyond pleased with the condo. I had to call regarding our vacuum not working and a maintenance man arrived quickly and got another vacuum as he could not fix ours since there was a short in the cord. The maintenance man was very pleasant.

Spring Break 2022

It was very uncomfortable. Even our two teenagers rarely sat on it. Other than that, all was great!

Stay away from ETW3001

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Emerald Towers West unit 3001 is a tired, sparse experience. There is no sofa, no DVD player, no radio or CD player. Worn out wicker lawn chairs are the living room furniture with worn out futon that sits very low to the ground. No carpet, all tile, annoying Alexis unit, (I unplugged it). The Master Bedroom also has a very dirty, worn out futon that takes most of the space in the room. Positives are TV was large and newer, the air conditioner worked well and the dishwasher worked. Needless to say I will not be back to this unit.

Just a little more cleaning
