- The community outdoor swimming pools are open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day (exact dates are subject to change). The community pickleball and basketball courts are open year-round, and it's recommended that you bring your own equipment
- The home is regularly serviced by a pest control company. Dead insects may occasionally be seen, which indicates the treatment is effective. A few live bugs might still appear, particularly in this wooded mountain setting or if doors are left open. Ladybugs, flies, carpenter bees, and other insects are common, as well as the occasional black bear. Guests who are uncomfortable with insects should consider this before booking
- The property does have cell phone service, but it may be spotty since the property is located in a rural area. Please check with your provider to confirm your service quality
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. The cameras are on the front exterior facing the entryway and driveway. Enjoyed the quiet home and hot tub.

Comfortable home, nicely renovated bathrooms. Enjoyed the billiard table and hot tub after hiking. Very quiet location, tranquil ravine view from the deck.

Family vacation

First of all, this was a great place to stay. We had three grandparents(70s) my husband and I and our 4 year old. The location of the cabin is outside Gatlinburg, which took us about 30 minutes to get into town. Also, I recognize it’s a mountain location but it is located about 1.5 miles up a pretty narrow and windy road. The house was extremely clean. We never saw any bugs, which we expected to because of the mountain location. We did use every bed and bathroom with our group and everyone reported the beds were comfortable, ample bedding, and pillows were available. We made use of the hot tub, which was well cleaned. The kitchen had plenty of storage and supplies for us, we only ate breakfast at the house. The only negatives for our family were not enough towels, with 6 people and a hot tub it seemed we were washing towels every day or at least drying them. Having a few extra would be nice. The drive way is very steep and on a decline. My parents get around very well for 70 but even they were a bit apprehensive navigating the driveway in and out of the car. The stairs were also very steep, however it didn’t seem to be a problem for us, as we usually only went up and down a couple of times a day. I would be cautious if you had small children or elderly parents who were unsteady on their feet. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Just what we needed!

Great place nestled in the mountains just for relaxing. There was lots of room inside to enjoy a rainy day and then later when the rain stopped, the hot tub was so inviting. The owner was very prompt with communication and her offer to help in any way to make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely return again.

Great house

Showed up earlier then expected, and homeowner showed up to accommodate us due to security system not resetting. Homeowner/guest services were available for a call whenever they were need or we had a question. Very clean home with tons of room.

Wonderful mountain setting

The house accommodations were perfect for 6 adults. Dining room table converts into ping pong and pool table and we had a blast with that. Hot tub at night with clear view of stars was excellent!

Not as expected.

Our time here was a quick, last min. weekend for my Mom's birthday. We had 3 issues up front... #1: Getting into the house. Once you've reached the house, you'll have no cell service. We had 6 cellphone's present, with 5 different carriers & NO ONE had service. So we couldn't get the email with the door code to pull up. We should have known this, as we come to Gatlinburg at least twice a year! It would've been nice if it would've been mentioned in the email that cell service is non-existent, & to screenshot the email with the code! We had to drive back out, & halfway back to Gatlinburg to get service, Just to get the code! *Frustrating* A note in the email would've been nice. #2: Our main issue. From the moment we walked in, everyone removed their shoes. (Standard practice at our house) Very quickly we realized the floors were disgusting! Not visibly, Just by looking at them, they looked fine.... But within 10 minutes of arriving everyone's feet were black and littered with little pieces of stuff/trash...Like it had been a long time since the floors were cleaned.....DIRTY! The host contacted us the next morning, & asked how check-in was & how things were going. We told them about the dirty floors immediately. We were not expecting a refund of any sort, nor did we ask for a refund of any sort, nor did we receive a refund of any sort. I just want to be clear on that. They insisted that they had been there the day of our arrival, & that the house was perfectly clean & spotless including the floors! I have multiple photos of the nastiness that was all over our feet, even within minutes of showering. We sent them a couple of pictures.... & still they were insistent that the house was clean...that left us to feel like we were being called liars. (Not how you handle a rental business) Because this was a last minute Labor Day weekend getaway, there were very few cabins available at all. Otherwise I would have made new arrangements. Trust me, I wanted too! #3: Towels. 7 people staying in this rental. They left 8 towels, 3 hand towels, & 4 washcloths. Zero towels for the hot tub. This was brought up to them in the conversation about the floors, as to which no real solution was given. Literally they argued about how many towels were on premise! **If you are looking for a cabin in the Gatlinburg area, keep scrolling & pick a different one.** If it allows me, I will post pictures.

Online pics are deceiving.

I pick this property to rent from the pictures online. After checking in the house did not look like the pics online. It was smaller, which would have been OK but the house was not very clean it was dusty with cobwebs in certain areas. Not sure how long it had been since someone had rented it. But with even that the house was very unattractive. A little decor on the inside would have made this house more attractive to the renter. It gives you something to look at in a relaxing way. The bathroom downstairs which is the one I used, had no decor which there again would have helped the looks. The shower did not have any rails or a place to even put your soap which left you putting your soap on the back of the commode or in the floor. They checking in process was the only thing great about this rental. But the checking out process was very frustrating. I was given a list of House Rules stating where to take the trash upon checking out. The place was on the main highway, East Parkway, there was no visible sign to tell you this is where you bring trash. When we did find it, it was closed. The gate was locked nowhere to put our trash keep in mind this was 15 to 20 minutes from the house. When I contacted the owner when she finally responded told me to just take the trash back to the house but by then we were well on our way home with our trash. No plans to make a return visit to this property.

Girls Trip

Enjoyed our stay here! Quiet, secluded, away from the hustle of Gatlinburg. House was roomy enough for our party of 5 and family pet. Kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and PLENTY of drawers for our supplies. The hot tub was perfect after the long drive in and the stresses of traffic. Lynda was very helpful when we had questions. Do put your younger members upstairs because the steps are too steep for older people to climb. I was concerned for anyone with littles to stay upstairs though, due to the unsafe banister at the top. Could be an easy fix by adding more railing to close the gaps. We would definitely stay again.

First time in Gatlinburg

We had a nice time. We did have to call about the large flies upstairs. We had ants but that might be because of the rain. The property manager did respond to our problem which was no fault of theirs The property could of had more bath towels. But overall the property was as listed.

Beautiful place!

My wife and I along with some of our friends went and stayed in this cabin in Gatlinburg. We were not there for vacation, instead we came there for youth church camp. We were staying off campus. This was a great place to stay. It was in a beautiful location. The place was very clean. Lots of room esp for 3 couples. Our main highlight was numerous bear sightings. This made staying there worth it for me. I was so excited to encounter several different bears(at safe distances). The owner was in contact with us. They were very helpful. Great stay! We would definitely go back!

Nice, but remodel work done poorly

We enjoyed our stay here, the house did look to have some recent remodeling done but it looked to have been done by someone with very little experience in remodeling. The stairs were extremely steep. One side of the hot tubs Jets worked while the other side didn't work. We wished that it would've had a actual bath tub instead of just showers. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was only 10 minutes or so to downtown Gatlinburg. We've stayed in a lot of cabins and houses in the mountains and this was one of our least favorite. To someone else it might be the best place ever. But We've stayed in some really nice ones over the years and this was probably our least favorite.

We Had a Wonderful Stay!!

The house we stayed at was extremely comfortable. And it was obvious they had just done some renovations. We spent more time at the house in the hot tub relaxing than we did in town. They had games there that we were able to play with our kids. And TV shows and movies are able to watch just to relax in front of the fire. My only warning for pet owners or people with small children is that the stairs to the second floor are very narrow and steep. We ended up having to carry our dog up and down the stairs most the time and they are 25-30lb. Other than that everything else was absolutely fantastic including the contact with the owner and all of the information given to us before even arriving.

Christmas in Gatlinburg

Enjoyed our stay in Gatlinburg for the holiday and New Years. Cabin was clean. Had trouble with tvs, couldn't watch cable but we did watch Netflix. Family enjoyed cooking breakfast in the mornings and eating ice cream late at night. Trash disposal is a hassle having to take it somewhere else during certain hours of the day. We would be gone early and come back late not making it easy. Could use a few more kitchen items to store food and drinks. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Home away from home

This property provided us everything we needed! It was our home away from home! The stairs up are Very short and steep as someone else reviewed, however we didn’t have any issues with them! The only feedback I could offer is the bedding in the down stairs room was weird a material that left us often hot and we wished there had been a king mattress in one of the rooms and no we aren’t large people at all, just spoiled . That being said we would stay here again!

Vacation stay

My family and I just got back from this rental. The property has been updated, but there are some safety issues. The stairs are steep and narrow and it never explains the steepness/narrowness of the stairs in the rental description. You have to be paying attention and go slow down and up the stairs. Secondly, the “guard rail” that is upstairs is VERY hazardous. There are two wide open areas that a small child, dog or things could easily fall right through to the main floor. Lastly, a rug at the main door is needed and bath mats would be a nice added touch.

Overall Good Stay but Safety Issues

I will begin by saying this property is better than a lot of rentals in the area. It has been recently updated and there weren't 500 pieces of bear art, which was nice. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms is also a huge plus if you're traveling with multiple family units. Hot tub was clean. However, there were a few glaring safety issues that I feel need to be addressed and I would have wanted to know before booking. First, the stairs are very narrow and steep. It was nerve-wracking carrying my son up and down them. Second, and the biggest issue in my book, is that at the top of the stair landing, they only have one spindle in the middle leaving two gaping holes that a small child could easily crawl through. Thankfully my son was not crawling yet, but all I could envision was a small child crawling down the hall and falling through to the floor below. Third, there is a small 1-inch grade difference between the floor in the master bedroom into the master bathroom. There isn't a transition strip between the two rooms either, so it's hard to even notice to the naked eye. My husband and I tripped over this multiple times. It's especially annoying if you're getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Hopefully you'll remember there's a step, otherwise you'll stub your toe and/or fall. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. I would probably not return with my son though. I'd only recommend this unit for ages 10+.

Perfect family Retreat

This was a perfect fit for our family. Newly renovated and updated. Owners information and interaction was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Extremely quiet and peaceful with the sounds of the mountain wilderness and flowing creek guarantees relaxation. Would definitely return to this property.

Wonderful weekend stay..

My girlfriend & my brother and his family had a wonder stay.. the house in the mountains was just what we all needed to relax & recharge.. we are already planning another stay this fall..
