Puddleduck House is Proudly Managed By Hunter Valley Stays.
Named after Beatrix Potterâs famous book, and like the beloved classic, the house features a rural farmyard. This stylish, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is perfect for up to 10 guests and is set on 5 acres in Nulkaba on the edge of beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Conveniently located 5.1 kilometres from Cessnock Airport, 5.5 kilometres to Crowne Plaza Golf Course and just 15.8 kilometres from the Hunter Valley Gardens, guests will be spoilt for choice with plenty of nearby attractions and iconic cellar doors.
With loads of room for all your friends and family to relax, Puddleduck House has been thoughtfully decorated to provide guests with a sense of calm and enjoyment both inside and out. The property features a stunning pool, fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, dining room with combustion wood fireplace, two separate living and dining areas to gather and relax, free to air TV and Wi-Fi, and a super outdoor covered patio area with gas BBQ perfect for casual dining throughout the summer season. Puddleduck House also has a fun games room with pool table, table tennis,Pac Man Table and an extra TV to keep everyone entertained. The house has ducted, reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout and guests also have the choice of fans within the bedrooms. Internal laundry facilities are also provided.
The house sits just a short walk from popular The Mighty Hunter Valley, a great craft brewery and restaurant with delicious beer, wines, food, and outdoor beer garden and kids play area â a great option to relax on the weekend. The location of Puddleduck House makes it ideal for Hunter Valley wedding guest accommodation for those celebrating at St Patrick Church, Nulkaba, Petersons Sparkling House, Lovedale Chapel, Moravia Park, Dark Horse or Wandin Valley in Lovedale. Concert pick up is also just a stroll down the road.
Guests will enjoy the convenience of being able to visit some of the Hunterâs best Cellar Doors to enjoy tastings such as Ernest Hill Vineyard, Capercaillie Wines, De Bortoli, Hungerford Hill, Petersons Sparkling House, Lakes Folly, Allandale Wines or concerts venues such at Hope Estate, all within a few minutesâ drive of the house.

Puddleduck House is pet friendly for small dogs only, the property owners accept only small dogs under 10 kilograms on application and house rules apply. The acreage is not fully fenced and has farm fencing only. We permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.
FIREPLACES & FIREPITS â Please note the fireplace is available between April and October and firewood is supplied only during these months. No other fires are permitted to be lit on the property at any time due to rural fire hazards.
