Piper Creek Cabin-Horse Friendly W / Randonnée, pêche et détente

Mission Mountain Getaway est situé sur Piper Creek, au cœur de la pittoresque vallée de Swan. La cabine est à 53 miles au nord sur la route 83 ou 15 miles au sud de Swan Lake. Mission Mountain Getaway est niché entre Bob Marshall Wilderness et Mission Mountain Wilderness. De nombreux points de départ des sentiers de lac de haute montagne se trouvent à proximité du chalet.

Pâturage clôturé et corral situés juste sur la propriété alors apportez vos chevaux pour une balade agréable!

La rivière Swan, qui offre une superbe pêche à la truite arc-en-ciel et à la truite brune, se trouve à environ 1/4 de mile de la cabane. Ce ne sont là que quelques-unes des nombreuses possibilités de loisirs en plein air que la région a à offrir.

La cabine a un charme rustique avec des commodités modernes, y compris une cuisine complète, une salle de bain et une chambre. La cabine peut accueillir 4-5 personnes confortablement.

La cabane est située à proximité de nombreux sentiers et lacs et du parc national des Glaciers. Randonnée en cabine: sentier du lac Piper à 3 km, lac Cold à 8 km, autres sentiers à proximité: ruisseau Lion, sentier du lac Glacier, Ducharme et Holland Falls. Plusieurs lacs de navigation de plaisance sont à une demi-heure de la cabine.

Pêche à la mouche des taureaux, de la gorge, de l'omble de fontaine et de l'arc-en-ciel dans les ruisseaux ou les lacs voisins

La cueillette des myrtilles est excellente fin juillet-août

    Mt. Get away

    Off the beaten path. Good location, it was in the middle of everything. We found that our favorite spot was Holland Lake and the Falls.

    PERFECT stay for experiencing Montana

    This property is EXCELLENT!! If you want to experience the back country of the Swan Valley area, bring your 4-wheel drive vehicle and go exploring! Also loved reading on the porch each morning with just the sound of the creek. We also had two doe visit us one morning which was a special treat (for me at least)!

    Very Clean Cabin! Creek Running thru property perfect to hear

    All went very easy, Cabin is as described. Peaceful getaway. Kitchen tools were perfect. Trash bags were provided Tux was awesome to check on us.

    We enjoyed our stay in the cabin and in the area. The cabin is just as the pictures and description show. It was clean and well stocked with all the necessities you need.     Secluded and Peaceful

    This location was wonderful. Tucked back from the world, private & peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed, was clean and comfy. It sits at the edge of a babbling creek, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a few meals at the Hungry Bear restaurant in the area, food & service were great. Visited Glacier NP, Nat'l Bison Range, Holland Falls, Miracle of America's Musuem and so much more. We would certainly stay in this cabin again and highly recommend it to another traveler. Thanks for sharing your wonderful property with us.

    Tranquil Cabin experience

    The property owners have made their cabin an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. One bed on main, and two in the loft. A nimble adult could definitely occupy a bed in the loft, too. Fully stocked with anything you might need, including games, utensils, coffee maker, BBQ, fire pit and firewood, and a crystal-clear stream just a few feet from the covered porch. We spent six days, making trips to Glacier NP (1.5 hrs), Whitefish (1.25), Polebridge (drove ATVs from Whitefish and back, four+ hrs), Hungry Horse Reservoir (1.25) and Kalispell (one hour). But, we also explored closer to the cabin, and fished the local rivers, found a stunning lake (Van Lake), and discovered (sadly) that several locally advertised lakes were walk in only, and we were not prepared to hike. (I bet they were beautiful). Our evenings were spent on the porch or by the creek making s'mores. So quiet, private and serene, that time just slipped away. We didn't get to bed until midnight every night. Would highly recommend!

    Wonderful Cabin

    Great Vacation Cabin

    We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Fully stocked with everything, great location, local grocery store with everything you need nearby. The creek that rang along the property was very peaceful. The neighbors are close by but far enough away to have privacy. We would love to visit again sometime.

    Lifelong memories made

    Scott’s cabin was so much more than we expected. My wife and I couldn’t stop laughing out of joy with how beautiful and serene the cabin was when we arrived. The creek behind provides soothing sounds to go to sleep to and a great place to learn fly fishing skills. I caught a few cutthroats and Brookies in the creek! The cabins attention to detail and fun touches were amazing, the kids loved the badger on the rafter. Definitely a great spot with good proximity to lakes, trails, and bigfork. We cried when we left and began talking about when we want to return next summer. Thanks Scott for the amazing hospitality and sharing this piece of Montana with us!

    Perfect Getaway

    Absolutely no complaints about the property or the stay. We loved it and look forward to booking this property again in the future if still available. There is nothing better than waking up to sit outside on the porch with a cup of coffee and a good book, watching the humming birds and listening to the sounds of the nearby stream! It was heaven!

    Very clean cosy cabin, literally right on a creek. Love sleeping with the sound of the creek. Cabin has everything we needed without being cluttered. Remained cool inside all day. And Swan Valley MT has everything we wanted in a vacation.

    Best in Class

    The perfect getaway and close enough to everything but far enough away to be secluded. West Glacier Park is just a hop skip and a jump away, along with the Whitefish area. Flathead Lake was easy to reach and we caught some great Lakers with Howe’s Fishing. Locally, we hiked into Cedar Lake and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery! The cabin was a quiet peaceful place with all the amenities that one could want. S'mores are a must at the fire pit located creek side. Lots of wildlife everywhere too and including bear, deer, and marmot! This is a must stay if you are in the Mission Mountain area!!

    Montana Getaway

    Such a wonderful experience for our family. We have been visiting various Montana cities for family vacations for the past 7 years. This one was by far one of our most peaceful and relaxing stays. From the cozy and very clean cabin to the sounds of the flowing creek outside the front porch - we loved every minute of it. So much to do within an hours drive in either direction. Trail rides, fishing, lake boat tours. It has it all. Nature’s recharge has me ready to tackle the hustle and bustle of the city life back home. Big thanks to the property owner for sharing this piece of paradise.

    splendid isolation

    The location right next to a raging river surrounded by pine trees is truly lovely. The cabin has everything you need. It is well thought out and equipped. There is a really goood supermarket a few miles south but other retail/restaurants are limited in this area. Lots of places to hike.

    Peaceful setting on Piper Creek

    The Swan Valley offers a perfect setting for an outdoor vacation, and this cabin's location allows for many day trips. During our stay last week, we enjoyed Glacier Lake, Holland Lake and Falls, Lower Cold Lake, Jim Lake and Van Lake. We were pleased to find all the necessary maps to plan our hikes at the cabin. The Condon Ranger Station is just a short drive from the cabin, so, if you can't find the information you need in the cabin library, the friendly and knowledgeable staff will help. It was great to have everything necessary to cook all our evening meals at the cabin after a long day hiking. The cabin is just as pictured. Scott has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing, comfortable and memorable.

    This cabin was the family retreat while the kids grew up. We have great memories of fishing, hiking, playing games and improving it over the years, and hope you will come away with lifelong memories of your own!

    Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front deck overlooking Piper Creek, or an evening campfire next to it. Tune out or take advantage of wi-fi, or head to Missoula for a concert, winery, or fine dining.

    Few places are set up so well for horses and offer such proximity to trails and wilderness areas. Scott is familiar with them all, so be sure to ask if you're considering a vacation with your equine partners.
