The Escape Artist is owned by NZ artists who love to use this space for art retreats. With original NZ throughout, the atmosphere in this home is nothing short of imaginative, creative and one-of-a-kind. If its downtime or a retreat to recharge the batteries or even if you're just planning to keep the kids entertained with a bit of art and crafts, this home will surely inspire!

The casual open plan living, dining and kitchen space opens right out onto the shaded sundeck. So when the food comes off the BBQ, it can go straight on the outdoor dining table for an alfresco feast.

This 3-bedroom Whiritoa holiday home can accommodate up to 6 guests, so the whole family can join or you and your group of friends and enjoy this escape together.

When you are not enjoying the relaxed lifestyle close to the beach, head into Whangamata just a 15-minute drive away. Whiritoa is a small coastal village with a convenience store when the craving for an ice-cream hits you. At the north end of the 1.5km beach is a small lagoon which is ideal for the little ones to swim and play, past this is a 15-minute walk to Waimana Bay that features white sand, crystal clear waters and a canopy of Pohutakawa trees. At the south end is a short bush walk to a blowhole. Whiritoa is a great place to surf, snorkel and fish, so make sure to pack all the gear!
