LOVELY affordable well stocked rental in terrific location.
Wonderful small, affordable place in a great neighborhood. Well stocked in kitchen and great tvs. Unfortunately some miscommunication about dates of stay and their swimming pool was under repair, but the owner was very responsive and kept us informed. Good price for their amenities and lovely hosts.
Everything was as described and more! So convenient to shops and dining! The pool was peaceful and owner was easy to contact! More weeks already booked!!
I was very impressed with how clean and tidy the apartment was. This was the first time I have been contacted by an owner prior to staying at a VRBO. Texting me and asking if I had questions and confirming my expected arrival time helped me feel welcomed before I even got stepped foot in the apartment. I will definitely try to stay here again whenever I am in town.
We stayed 10 nights in March '25. Pros: - Clean, with a comfortable queen bed.- Centrally located next to the Village Green park (west of Crandon Blvd, the main street through town)- Close to lots of terrific restaurants. Walkable to the beach, grocery, and Crandon Park, and there's a free municipal shuttle (Freebee) to Bill Baggs Park or anywhere else if you have limited mobility.Cons:- The pool is nice but was closed for repairs.- Laundry is onsite but requires lots of quarters, which are hard to come by these days. (Bring your own.)- Can get noisy if the neighbors are loud.Suggestions:- Rent bikes or a golf cart for a day. - Visit the beaches on west side of Virginia Key. Rent kayaks or paddle boards to see the manatees in Lamar Lake.- Visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (in Miami) if you have time.- Eat all the South American food you can!
