This beautiful lakefront home with a private beach has been completely newly renovated in March 2020. Enjoy the beautiful beach, the stunning sunsets, the privacy, and lovely open concept home. As an added bonus, we are also providing Italian cooking classes for those interested while staying at this lovely place.

Perfect Lake Retreat

What a wonderful stay! It was so relaxing and exactly as described. We stayed on a weekday so we got to see the Wednesday night sailboat race. The beach in front of the house offered a perfect location to watch from. We hope to be back next year!

Family Get Together

Ideal place to just relax, sit by the waters edge and watch the sailboats and lakers on the lake. Of course, the sunsets are often quite spectacular. This year, we enjoyed a sandy beach leading to the lake. This wonderful 3 bedroom cottage is very clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. It’s set in a quiet neighbourhood and probably best suited for vacationers who enjoy quiet peaceful endeavours. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next return visit.

Perfect week on the beach

Mary’s place on the beach is so lovely! It helped that I had the most perfect weather for my September vacation. The cottage is comfortable and the location is great - cottage in the city. Mary is a wonderful host to communicate with, and she ensured that all my questions were answered. Highly recommend!

Quintessential lake retreat

This was my second time in Mary's house, and it just confirmed my first impression: the place is perfect: * Location: as close to the lake as it gets, in a quiet neighborhood, yet, within 10 min drive from all necessities and Sarnia's Point Edward area with its restaurants, cafes, and so on. * Outside: perfect beach (and you can walk on the beach all the way to Canatara Park), easy access to the beach, and the terrace right over the beach is a great place to relax. * Inside: the house is very well kept, clean, and comfortable. My favorite place is a sun room - a great place to have a breakfast or to have a siesta after lunch.... * And of course a very friendly owner - Mary, and she keeps constantly improving the house and the grounds.

We enjoyed the weekend visit at this amazing place on the water. The house was clean and had everything that we needed, what a relaxing time we had. The best part was walking down to our own beach and sitting by the water. We will definitely be back another time! 😍

Cute place on the beach

We had a nice relaxing long weekend at this home which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved the easy access to the beach and just sitting on the deck listening to the waves while watching the sunset. The home was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was less than a 10 minute drive away and within walking distance in some cases. Mary was was kind, available if needed and made the check in/out process easy.

Paradise Beach

A charming, cozy home/cottage overlooking beautiful Lake Huron. The view from the cottage is spectacular including: gorgeous sunsets and stunning sailboat races. We loved morning coffee on the deck overlooking the beach and lake. From there, a few solid steps took us down to the beach where we spent lovely days sun tanning and swimming in the clean Lake Huron water. The gentle incline into the water and the clean beach make it a wonderful place for children to play. Nearby stores and restaurants make it easy to enjoy meals either at the cottage or out. The owner is readily available to offer suggestions for entertainment and anything you might need. We highly recommend this paradise. We will be back time and again.

Lake Huron Getaway

Family Get Together

We had such a good time at this beautiful cottage/house. It was great to catch up with family who we hadn’t seen for a while. There couldn’t have been a more perfect place than Mary’s cottage. Set in a lakeside neighbourhood in Sarnia, it has 3 bedrooms, immaculately kept, professionally decorated, plus offers a well constructed deck overlooking a sandy beach that leads to the blue waters of Lake Huron and those awesome sunsets. We had the good fortune to meet Mary. She’s wonderful- very friendly and helpful. We’re looking forward to a return visit.

Fun Cottage on Lake Huron

First of all, the hostess Mary is a pleasure to deal with. She really went over the top to make our stay perfect! This was our second visit, and this is a special cottage. It's comfortable, clean and the views are spectacular. We've stayed in the local hotels, but this cottage is better for our family's needs. The views of Lake Huron, the Bluewater Bridge, Michigan in the distance, Birds are beautiful. The Sunsets are amazing!! This is a great cottage, you really can't go wrong!

Excellent location, and perfect house

The location cannot be any better: in a very quiet area, yet 10 min drive to downtown Sarnia. The house is very comfortable and clean. Plenty of sitting, dining, and relaxation spaces. My favorite was the sunroom, which provides great views of the lake. There's a private deck right over the beach, and an easy access to the beach. The sandy beach has a very gentle slope, and the clean water is perfect for swimming. And I would like to especially thank Mary for being such an attentive host. Would love to come back here again!

Lake Huron Retreat

A beautiful cottage right on lovely Lake Huron. Gorgeous sunsets and a great deck overlooking the large sandy beach. The cottage has everything you need and Mary is a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!
