The Sunrise Bedroom
A cozy south-facing bedroom overlooking a beautiful country road with two twin beds. Early risers: claim this room and watch the sun rise over the street right after you jump out of bed! Prefer to sleep in? Just make sure to draw the curtain in before you go to bed!

The Country Road Bedroom
Another lovely south-facing bedroom overlooking a beautiful country road with a comfy queen bed.

The Upper Bathroom
Need a quick shower? No problem. Feel like a mini-spa night? Your Jacuzzi tab is ready, just two steps from your bedroom. Those soft rolled-cotton towels, shampoo and all that Jazz are there too. Just bring your favorite flavor of bath bomb and play your favorite music on your phone for a completely relaxing me-time session.

The Grape Vine Bedroom
An oversized bedroom on the lower level featuring a full queen-size bedroom set and a comfy pull-out sofa for parents who like to keep their little ones in the nest, or siblings and friends sharing a room.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The view was stunning, the beach very closed and everything was just as expected—peaceful, clean, and cozy. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Comfortable living space - kitchen well stocked and we appreciated all the games, puzzles and books. It definitely helped keep the younger kids entertained. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, where most things were drive away (we drove 30-60 minutes each day)Gorgeous sunset every night!

Great View, Great Place

Lana’s place has a great view of Lake Huron, which we were able to enjoy while cooking in the kitchen, eating in the dining area, sitting on the couch, sitting on the back deck and sitting on the cliff edge. The house has a well-stocked kitchen and lots of games for kids. Our boys especially loved the trampoline in the backyard. The neighboring houses are very close, but the neighborhood was generally quiet. We really enjoyed our time here.

Amazing views of Lake Huron

Cliff Haven is a beautiful home with upgraded amenities in a lovely family and pet friendly neighborhood. The views of Lake Huron were incredible especially the sunsets.

We are a family of four: two professionals with two daughters who are growing up too quickly. We are based in Greater Toronto Area but we love to travel. We moved to Canada over 15 years ago from Asia and Europe and fell in love with Canadian nature. We are seasoned campers, skiers, cyclists, and travelers. When we do not stay in our tents, we always rent homes from locals, as we believe this to be the best way to experience new places and things. Although we try to experience new places every year, we also have our favorites where we return time and again. Lambton Shores and Lake Huron is one of them. We have been camping, swimming, pedaling and cycling here for years. It’s been our dream to have a place on Huron for a while, and we have found the perfect one! Now, it’s our turn to host responsible guests who will appreciate and enjoy this beautiful home and location.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Every time we visit, we step into the truly peaceful atmosphere the moment we come into the house. We don’t even have to leave the house to experience the beauty and serenity of the place, watching the Lake from any spot in the open-concept living and kitchen area and the beautiful country road from the bedrooms. We surely want to spend most of our time outside, so we made sure our spacious wooden deck is fully equipped with furniture, BBQ and umbrella to have meals or simply spend time as much as we can. Just a few steps take us to the fire-pit and comfy Muskoka chairs that are waiting for humans to sit and just be. So even when we feel very lazy, we are enjoying the cleansing air and the healing spirit of Lake Huron.
But we also love to move, and move we do! While we are planning to build a safe access to water from our backyard, we are just a few steps away from the local beach. Turn left on Blue Point Drive, and a three-minute pleasant walk takes us to the local public beach access. If we feel like exploring, a 25-minute drive along the beautiful Lakeshore Road takes us to the famous Ipperwash Beach. When we feel like eating out and dipping into the atmosphere of the area’s best vacation town, a 33-minute drive on the same route brings us to Grand Bed with its fancy restaurants, best ice-cream places, rentals, souvenir shops and much more. However, our absolute favorite experience is spending a day in one of the finest gems of Southern Ontario, the Pinery Provincial Park (a half-an-hour drive from the BluePoint Home on Huron). When we visit, we make sure we come early to have enough time to do a little bit of everything: cycling or hiking on its beautiful trails, pedal along the serene channel watching fishes and turtles, and several hours of fun on its beautiful beaches. In winter, we come for cross-country skiing (again, if we left out skis behind, we can rent).

Have you ever imagined you could stand on the tip of your backyard and see Lake Huron no matter where you looked? Come and enjoy a week of watching nothing but sunrises and sunsets on the shore of this magnificent Lake, beautiful trees, and maybe an occasional Bold Eagle (yes!), as they love to visit our backyard.
