Located on the quiet beachfront in Bermuda Beach, this charming and secluded cottage offers luxury furnishings and unobstructed coastal views. Perfect for a girls' weekend, a couples' getaway, families or long-term renters who want to embrace island living, the home offers everything needed for a comfortable stay, including modern conveniences, a chef's kitchen, and comfortable, refined furnishings.

Salt Air Cottage offers plenty of options for the most essential reason guests visit: relaxation! Take in the ocean views from sprawling lounge chairs on the wraparound deck and enjoy water views from every room in the house. Outdoor dining options include patio seating and picnic tables. Be sure to make time for a short nap listening to the rush of the waves from the hammock!

Inside, your private retreat is updated with designer decorative touches, newly updated furniture and elements that invoke Galveston's storied history.

The cottage is updated with conveniences that include a new kitchen appliances, crisp updated linens, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor shower. You can pack light when you come to Salt Air Cottage - it's appointed with everything you need for an escape to the beach, including boogie boards, bocce ball, sand toys, and more.

We have 2 cameras outdoors underneath the house to protect your vehicles and against uninvited visitors. No cameras are upstairs, in the house or in private areas.

We were very comfortable, 2 adults and one dog, Bermuda Sands Beach Front. Easy access to beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Easy drive to Galveston.

This was our second visit to Salt Air Cottage and as per the norm, it did not disappoint. Stevie is a top level host who still maintains excellence even four years later. Same great attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort. A wonderful beach home!

Beach Getaway

Precious beach house with an amazing view. The kitchen is well-appointed, the beds and linens are great, and there is attention to detail throughout the house. Stevie is a gracious host and excels in communicating and making his guests feel welcome. We can’t wait to go back!!

Cozy home with awesome location!

My husband and I, our son and his wife and our two grandchildren stayed three nights over the 4th of July holiday. It was a great stay and we had a wonderful time. I can’t say enough about the private beach location! Added bonus was Stevie, the owner. She checked on us and was willing to do whatever necessary to ensure we had a great stay!

This house is near the end of a dead end so if you love being away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston seawall traffic, then this is for you! Definitely worth the few minute drive out of time. 10/10 would recommend. :)

We had a fantastic stay. This house came equipped with everything we needed for the beach. Toys, chairs and towels. communication with the host was awesome! Had such an amazing stay. Steps to the beach made it so convenient. We had a rainy day so having the games to play was a huge bonus for us. We will be back

Birthday getaway weekend

Quite and clean community. The house has two bedrooms and bathrooms. Wrap around porch with front roll ocean views. Absolutely stunning! We didn't want to leave. Beautiful home we had a great time.

Mothers Day weekend

House is adorable however it does need work…outside not in the best shape…needs fresh coat of paint everywhere…windows need cleaning inside and out. Cabinets and drawers need cleaning inside. Shower in main bedroom is cracking. Decorations and linens were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay here! Not a fan of Bermuda beach but our section had privacy from the drive ins. Cute cozy cottage! Enjoyed the amenities.

Second visit

This was my second time staying at Salt Air and both times have been wonderful. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach, the house is well equipped and Stevie is very communicative. Will be back!

Great Location needs TLC

The location is amazing, you are literally on the beach. You drive on the beach to get to this location. Although, When we pulled up, we almost left immediately. The main support beams for the structure of the house look like they are rotted and about to collapse at any moment. The outside of the cottage looks in really bad shape. My family stayed in the truck and I went up to inspect the house and make sure it wasn't dangerous. The stairs going up are falling off. After inspecting the structure, we decided to go ahead and stay. To be honest we were a bit worried, our entire stay, about the structural integrity of the house. Once inside, the cottage is very cute. The cottage is decorated very well. Very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is really well stocked with most everything you would need. There was no can opener, which we purchased from dollar general down the street and left at the cottage for future guest. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The couch could use a steam clean. It feels a little grimy and dirty. We had fun playing board games. We couldn't let our toddler on the porch bc she almost fell through the hand rails. Code for hand rails is 3.5" between rails. These are about 12" apart. Maybe adding an additional board horizontally at the bottom would keep little ones from crawling or stumbling off the edge. The views are amazing, highly recommend a cup of coffee or tea on the patio to watch sun rise.

Doesn’t get any better in Galveston

Hands down the best experience we’ve had on the island. We’ve come as a family 2-3 times a year for the last 20 years and this beach house made for one of the most fantastic trips ever. Great host, amazing location, picture perfect views.

great weekend trip. perfect location. the only thing i would recommend to the owner is to make the location of the lockbox a little clearer. we did find it, but it took 5-10 minutes or so. maybe even text a picture of the lockbox location to future renters.

A beautiful property with classy amenities. Everything you could want. Superb view; very quiet. About 15 steps from the beach. Terrific chairs and loungers on the porch. Exquisite coffee. Easy access. Perfect!

Perfect getaway!

This house is amazing - clean, pretty and fully stocked with anything a guest may need. It has amazing view of the gulf. The house is all glass on the front which meant each bedroom has a gulf view. Bermuda beach is a great location. Close to town, but not in town. The owner was in contact throughout the stay and certainly there for us had we needed her. I am going to go back next year and I highly recommend this property!
