Overall good

Fantastic views, trail that lead from under the house directly to the beach. Huge patio with many chairs. Provided an impressive amount of kitchen utensils, we had everything we needed to cook meals. Two big dining tables which accommodated our big family. Very clean and super comfortable beds, Close to town as well, probably 6 min from walmart. Great communication with owner. We go to beach houses every year in Galveston and this is the first time we have had no complaints!

Perfect Beach House

We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful beach home. The location is perfect and is only steps from the beach. The house itself had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be renting it again!

Perfect beach house

House was perfectly sized for 3 small families with children. Spacious living/dining area, large deck with lots of seating, direct access to beach just a few yards from back patio. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. AC worked great! Will return next year!

Fall Getaway

Well advertised accommodations. The kitchen and baths were well stocked with cooking utensils and towels etc. The house was quite comfortable. House appeared to be well loved and had the normal wear and tear of a beachfront home. We would go back. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Winter getaway

Overall, great 4 bedroom house with a location right on the beach. Enough space for 3 families. Bathrooms are a little light. House overall could use a couple maintenance repairs and some freshening up.

Family beach time

My family and I had a wonderful time at Pelican Point. The house was clean and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. The kids enjoyed the swing and all the sand toys. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings.The host responded quickly to all my questions.

Relaxing Getaway

We were very pleased with the house and the beautiful view from the deck. The beach was in our back yard! Everything was smooth sailing from booking the house, contacting the host (who replied very quickly) to checking in and out....and everything in between! We were sad to go. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice quiet, relaxing vacation.

Time away

House was nice. The location is absolutely perfect. We would stay there again. It has a few issues. The front door needs to be adjusted. It will not open all the way. It gets stuck on the floor about halfway back. The upstairs shower is very small. It is not made for a bigger person. The frying pans need to be replaced, they are warped.

The Perfect Getaway!!!

This property is beachfront, a/c is very cold (especially upstairs), well equipped kitchen, awesome outdoor shower w/hot water, the beachfront feels private & exclusive to the beach homes in this area even though it's not, cars are not permitted to park in the beach area which is a bonus for families with little kids (too dangerous IMO), the home itself is very spacious and bedrooms are generously sized. The upstairs shower is a bit narrow but great for the kiddos and smaller framed people (downstairs shower has tub and plenty of room) - we didnt go to hang out in the shower this was not an issue for us! We would definitely book this property again!!

Great location

My girlfriends and I got away for much needed break. The house is in a fantastic location, right on the beach. Love that. The house however is quite dated and in much need of some TLC. A thorough deep clean would help it immensely. The owner was perfect to work with, very responsive.

Amazing location and lots of space

This property was perfect for our vacation. The location is about 20 minutes south of downtown Galveston, but so worth it when you walk onto the deck and have the ocean steps away. The house is clean, pretty updated and spacious. Having two masters with two full baths was very useful, and the secondary bedrooms can sleep quite a few people if needed. Our group voted and, hands down, the main master has the most comfortable bed. There is also a ton of space for dining/sitting. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

Host was great, small size toiletries were provided, and great WiFi. I know a beach house is hard to maintain with all that salt water in the air, but the house could use a fresh coat of paint and a couple of touch-up spots of some banged up walls. The pictures definitely made it look more updated than it was. The spaces were perfect for us. We had 3 families. Each set of adults got their own room and we put the 4 kids in the room with 2 bunk beds and no windows.

Beachfront delight

We loved our sister weekend stay in this wonderful beachfront property. It was at once welcoming with its sunfilled rooms and comfortable furnishings not to mentions its French doors opening to a deck with unobstructed views of the gulf. It appeared newly renovated with high end appliances and all the amenities you’d ever want. The beds were comfortable with lots of sleeping options given the 4 bedrooms and the location just minutes to downtown was ideal! Eric was very easy to reach and he was quick ti respond to our requests. We definitely recommend staying here and hope to return ourselves some day.

You are paying for the proximity to the beach.

There quite a few issues with the house. The most annoying being that the front door only opens halfway (maybe less). You can tell that this has been an issue for a long time as it has rubbed the pattern off the tile where it sticks. There is siding missing from the house in multiple places. There was also a lot of debris around the exterior of the house.

Nice Beach House

4 adults, 2 kids, and an infant stayed in this lovely home. It was a perfect fit and right on the beach! Tip: There is a room full of beach toys, chairs, and gear that other guests have left so definitely check it out before buying new stuff. As other reviewers have mentioned the king bed is extremely (overly) soft. Also, the twin beds room as no windows. But this was perfect for the baby's pack-n-play sleep set up.

Great time with family

Thank you for sharing your home !! We had a wonderful time, Galveston is such a fun place for all ages. There were a couple things may need your attention for next family. the sheets upstairs kept coming off corners, and the oven didn't work. Could have been caused by storm the night before. And couldn't get tv to work upstairs but other than those things it was good , had everything else we needed. Thank you ! Kathy Lee
