Recently remodeled, well-maintained Cape Cod-style home. Newly remodeled bathrooms and new flooring throughout (2020). Beachside location. Steps from the beach. Perfect for one or multiple families. A master bedroom on each floor with king beds. Downstairs also has a room with two queens. Upstairs has a bunk room with two bunk beds. Stylishly and comfortably furnished. Bright and open kitchen/living/dining area with beautiful beach views. Fully-equipped island kitchen. Ceiling fans throughout downstairs. Washer/Dryer on the ground floor. Wi-Fi. Great House with Easy Beach Access

This house is essentially on the beach. We had 7 kids and it was easy for them to get to the beach and for us to watch them from the house. The house had lots of sand toys and great shade on the porch. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

We loved the location and the house layout worked great. We had a few issues that we plan to address with the owner/manager, all of which will surely be corrected for future renters. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect location - no cars allowed on the beach, and the house is just steps away from the sand. The views from the deck and the main parts of the house are unmatched. The house has been updated since the photos were taken and the whole house is bright, white and cheery - no crazy colors. The kitchen is brand new and well-stocked for those who like to cook! We found everything we needed and were very comfortable. We’ll be back!!

Perfect beach house

House was perfectly sized for 3 small families with children. Spacious living/dining area, large deck with lots of seating, direct access to beach just a few yards from back patio. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. AC worked great! Will return next year!

Fall Getaway

Well advertised accommodations. The kitchen and baths were well stocked with cooking utensils and towels etc. The house was quite comfortable. House appeared to be well loved and had the normal wear and tear of a beachfront home. We would go back. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Relaxing Getaway

We were very pleased with the house and the beautiful view from the deck. The beach was in our back yard! Everything was smooth sailing from booking the house, contacting the host (who replied very quickly) to checking in and out....and everything in between! We were sad to go. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice quiet, relaxing vacation.

Amazing location and lots of space

This property was perfect for our vacation. The location is about 20 minutes south of downtown Galveston, but so worth it when you walk onto the deck and have the ocean steps away. The house is clean, pretty updated and spacious. Having two masters with two full baths was very useful, and the secondary bedrooms can sleep quite a few people if needed. Our group voted and, hands down, the main master has the most comfortable bed. There is also a ton of space for dining/sitting. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great, but needed a little maintenance. The Adirondack chairs on ground level were falling apart, but chairs on deck were plentiful and great. There was a funky smell in the cabinets in the kitchen. The dishwasher might need a little check up. It was running when we arrived, but seemed to not fully go through the cycle and we couldn't cancel. The front door described in other reviews still has an issue. The upstairs shower stall is narrow, but it worked. We will be returning to this home.

The Perfect Getaway!!!

This property is beachfront, a/c is very cold (especially upstairs), well equipped kitchen, awesome outdoor shower w/hot water, the beachfront feels private & exclusive to the beach homes in this area even though it's not, cars are not permitted to park in the beach area which is a bonus for families with little kids (too dangerous IMO), the home itself is very spacious and bedrooms are generously sized. The upstairs shower is a bit narrow but great for the kiddos and smaller framed people (downstairs shower has tub and plenty of room) - we didnt go to hang out in the shower this was not an issue for us! We would definitely book this property again!!

Perfect Location

Host was great, small size toiletries were provided, and great WiFi. I know a beach house is hard to maintain with all that salt water in the air, but the house could use a fresh coat of paint and a couple of touch-up spots of some banged up walls. The pictures definitely made it look more updated than it was. The spaces were perfect for us. We had 3 families. Each set of adults got their own room and we put the 4 kids in the room with 2 bunk beds and no windows.

Family weekend

We were pleased with the close location to the beach and to town. The AC worked very well - especially upstairs. We figured out the Chromecast after a little bit and it worked well. We were disappointed with the overall care of the property. Kitchen had been remodeled from the online pictures and the new stove worked well. However the utensils were sparse- only 1 spoon - and the cookware was limited. The furniture and decoration was different from the online listing photos. There were no curtains on the windows. The couches appeared to have had their legs removed so they sat directly on the floor which made them quite low. Knobs and handles on some of the furniture was missing. The property was a good location for the event we attended over the weekend but we felt like the house preparation for visitors could have been stepped up a bit.

We love staying here. Perfectly spacious and amazing location. Neighborhood is quiet with perfect beach access. Home is the most well stocked rental we’ve ever stayed at. The newly updated kitchen was a pleasant surprise. We will keep coming back for sure!

Overall good

Fantastic views, trail that lead from under the house directly to the beach. Huge patio with many chairs. Provided an impressive amount of kitchen utensils, we had everything we needed to cook meals. Two big dining tables which accommodated our big family. Very clean and super comfortable beds, Close to town as well, probably 6 min from walmart. Great communication with owner. We go to beach houses every year in Galveston and this is the first time we have had no complaints!

Time away

House was nice. The location is absolutely perfect. We would stay there again. It has a few issues. The front door needs to be adjusted. It will not open all the way. It gets stuck on the floor about halfway back. The upstairs shower is very small. It is not made for a bigger person. The frying pans need to be replaced, they are warped.

Location superb, house lacking

The check-in and communication process with the host was absolutely superb. It was easy to get information and to access the property. The property itself is located right on the beach, great for families etc. Our kids could walk right down to the beach and it made it easy to take all our gear. You are paying for the proximity to the beach.

There quite a few issues with the house. The most annoying being that the front door only opens halfway (maybe less). You can tell that this has been an issue for a long time as it has rubbed the pattern off the tile where it sticks. There is siding missing from the house in multiple places. There was also a lot of debris around the exterior of the house.
