Unpleasant and rude pool watcher ruined everyone's vacation, not just us!
The condo was nice and had a fairly nice view if you looked past the back of a hotel and a lot of garbage bins (#304). I knew we needed sheets and towels but ZERO bathroom tissue on arrival was unexpected and unpleasant. The bedrooms have windows that face to concrete open space which ECHO every little thing VERY LOUDLY. Beds were not comfortable and bathrooms were dark. Everything working well.
Now to the part that ruined my vacation. My family was staying in a condo ocean side and i invited my grandkids (8 and 6) over for a swim in the pool. We have 6 passes and NOWHERE does it say you can't have guests. I travel ALL THE TIME and have never been treated so poorly. She was vicious and would not let the kids in, even though no one was at the pool and i was trying to follow rules, only 3 of us (6 passes!). Just ridiculous. Where are the rules we asked? She just shook her head and went on about people trying to get in all the time. She said people pay a lot of money to stay here. I said, so did i and i have never been treated like low class citizen, i am a Dr. and the children are extremely well behaved. I heard her challenging others and making people go back multiple times to have the right info to get in. She was like a drill sergeant walking around yelling at people. I would NEVER stay here again, and would strongly recommend avoiding. Totally ruined this trip and confirmed that Ocean City is full of low class people. There are better places to vacation where you get treated properly.
