3 of us had a great stay here while at our trade show at the convention center. It’s a very close drive to the convention center and many restaurants in the area. It was very clean. It was nice each having our own room and a kitchen to supplement when we didn’t need want to eat out. Thank you!

We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed our time here! The house was very nice, clean, and spacious — plenty of room for everyone to relax. The beds were super comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. It was the perfect place for our stay, and we would definitely come back again

Catalina Channel visit

I stayed here with my parents and a friend while I was in town to swim the Catalina Channel. The house is very cute and having a driveway to park in the as an absolute blessing given how hard it would have been to find street parking. There was enough room for us all to relax and spend time together, and even though the kitchen doesn’t have a/c, the rest of the house does, so everything stayed comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond to all my messages. The only less than ideal thing I’d say is that if you are very tall, the showers will be a little short for you. On the whole, a great stay!

Great Property

Great property house was clean except the couch crumbs was left. The 1st bathroom has spider webs above the sink. Parking is good we parked in the drive way The neighborhood is not so great but we didn’t experience and Issues. Property management is great and responsive by message or phone. The Remote to the TV doesn’t work well at all and there is no local channels.

Thanks for acknowledging that the house was clean. And I hope you were pleased when our housekeeper returned to flip the sofa cushions and clean the crumbs as well as get the remote working with fresh batteries. Lastly, while it's not an upper-class neighborhood, it is safe and convenient to downtown - zero safety issues in 3 years of hosting. Lastly, we offer Smart TV options such as Netflix, Amazon etc., which is noted in the listing.

Beautiful 100 year old home

Pretty property. Right down the street from a nice park with a playground. Everything was easy except for operating the tv (the remote was broken/breaking) and the lack of communication from the property owner/manager about work being done on the property. We arrived to a new fence being put in. It was left half done and tripping hazards were left in the yard. I nicely requested that they inform us of other work being done but they never did and we had several contractors doing work on the property during our stay. Pretty annoying and disrespectful of our peace.

Not as nice as pictures show

We came for the 4th of July weekend and this was one of the only listings still available. We had never stayed in Long Beach before so we thought we’d give it a try. The area/location was not great to be honest. We drove to Huntington area and Laguna every day bc there wasn’t much in Long Beach and the neighborhood wasn’t the great, based off of what we saw in the pictures. Upon arrival, it was easy to get in and they had some little treats which was nice. I will say the smell was stale and quite unpleasant and the a/c was off so it was hot. (Not the best first impression) We turned all the wall units on, but the kitchen ac wasn’t working. I did message the host about it, but never got a response regarding ac in the kitchen. I can see they tried their best with what they had to work with on the house, but when you’re inside, it’s like lipstick on a pig. The tub had black footprints in it, I’m guessing from previous visitors, so I don’t think the place was cleaned very well. My kids feet were black after walking around barefoot inside. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Towels were worn and one of them had tattered holes in it. Also note that there isn’t a dishwasher. I am not one to give bad reviews, but I feel like we got a little catfished based off of the original pictures.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. Our location is close to many great spots, though we understand preferences vary. We had a previous check-out from the unit and no one reported any bad odor. This is the first time we're hearing about it, and we would have appreciated being notified so we could address it promptly. Regarding the cleaning, our cleaners send pictures every day after they finish, and it was reported clean. If you could point out the black prints on the tub in a picture, it would help us investigate further. We did reply to your inquiry about the A/C. This is also the first time a guest has reported the kitchen A/C not working, but we will check with our current guests to make sure everything is functioning properly. We will also review the condition of the towels to ensure they meet our standards. Thank you for staying with us and giving us the opportunity to improve.

If you are in need of central air conditioning this place isn’t for you. We arrived on a particularly hot day and was shocked by how hot the inside of this house was. It took a while to sort out how to use the individual air conditioners- there was 1 in each bedroom, one in the living room, but none in the entry/kitchen/dining area, which is half of living area. If someone had taken the time to turn on all the air conditioners, and if there was air conditioning in the kitchen area we would have been a lot more comfortable. The only other issue was the lingering cigarette smell in the front bedroom.

Amazing Place!!!

We stay in Long Beach for business , and have stayed at many Rental homes. This is by far our favorite. Very clean, spacious, and the owners are very kind and respond fast with questions. We most definitely will be booking this home again. Thanks again for such a great stay.
