Garber Kiowa Retreat est un chalet classique avec vue panoramique sur la forêt sur un terrain de coin plat. Avec des plafonds voûtés en bois, un plan d'étage ouvert et une terrasse hors du salon, vous ne voudrez plus partir! Un remodelage partiel sera terminé d'ici le Memorial Day avec tous les nouveaux tapis en bas, la cuisine avec des comptoirs en granit, un lave-vaisselle et un réfrigérateur. Tous les éviers et robinets de la maison sont en train d'être remplacés. Séjour minimum de 2 nuits / Minimum de 3 nuits pendant les périodes de vacances / Minimum de 4 nuits pendant Noël et le Nouvel An. Le rez-de-chaussée est à un étage du parking extérieur. Profitez de la cuisinière à gaz en hiver ou lors des matins d'été frais. Le salon dispose d'un nouveau téléviseur intelligent de 40 pouces avec câble Comcast, d'un bon et rapide WIFI, d'un magnétoscope, de lecteurs CD et DVD, de comptes Amazon et Netflix gratuits ainsi que d'une petite bibliothèque DVD et VHS. Il y a aussi des jeux de société, des puzzles et des livres pour les clients. Il y a de la place pour trois au comptoir de la cuisine - profitez du petit-déjeuner ou d'une collation rapide. La table à manger peut accueillir huit personnes confortablement. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a deux chambres - chacune avec un lit queen et la salle de bain a un combo douche / baignoire. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a aussi une laveuse / sécheuse superposées pour les invités. A l'étage, un petit loft avec une table de baby-foot, un canapé, un fauteuil poire et un petit magnétoscope sans télévision ni câble (il y a une très petite télévision et un câble pour les enfants, donc ce n'est pas nécessaire). La chambre à l'étage a une reine et deux lits jumeaux. La salle de bain à l'étage a un combo baignoire / douche. Profitez des barbecues d'été autour de la table de pique-nique ou profitez simplement de la vue avec votre tasse de café du matin. Il y a un barbecue au charbon de bois sur la terrasse pour les clients (les clients doivent apporter leur propre charbon de bois.) Les clients réservant sept nuits ou plus bénéficient d'une remise de 5% sur leur tarif de location à la nuitée. Les clients bénéficient d'une piscine d'été gratuite et d'un centre de loisirs au centre de loisirs Big Trees Village. Consultez le centre de loisirs de Big Trees State Park, l'accès à pied est à 0. 5 miles de la cabine, à la fin de Cheyenne, et il y a des miles de vieilles routes de pompiers pour la randonnée ou le ski à un pâté de maisons de la cabine. Nice comfort cabin overall. The only miss is charcoal grill. It’s really cool, but would be nice to get gas grill for more convenience and safety.

Great Vacation Cabin

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was, again, great! We enjoy its proximity to Bear Valley Skiing. Hopefully we will return for another visit!

Great Cabin

Loved the cabin it was very clean and cozy and perfect for our annual weekend getaway we take with our aunt and mom. It was very relaxing for the 5 of us and would recommend this cabin for a nice peaceful getaway. It had everything we needed.

A nice cabin

We came to ski and this was perfectly located. We cooked in and the kitchen was well equipped. They even had a slow cooker which made dinner easy.

As it was last minute Dorrington Realty was able to accommodate us with last minute arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay. Really had that cabin look and feel. 4th of July weekend was very pleasant. Enough room for the whole family. Cabin had everything you needed, fully stocked. We will definitely cone back.

Cozy Cabin with Access to Trees and Ski Slopes

It's a nice cabin within 35 min drive of Bear Valley Ski or Sno-park sledding options and very close to Calaveras Big Trees park. The cabin itself is well equipped for cooking and enjoying the company of others around the dining table, or the gas-burning stove (heater). A decent grocery store is only 15 min drive, so overall we found it easy and convenient.

Great Long Weekend Getaway!

We had a fantastic time staying at this 3 bedroom property. The description of the home matched what we read online. All amenities were in in good shape and easy to find/use. The home is well taken care of and has a great cabin vibe. We have a toddler, so the upstairs railings were a little wide spread, but we always kept an eye on him, as he wanted to be in the game area - the foosball table was tons of fun! The house's close proximity to Bear Valley Skiing was one of the main reasons we chose it, and it didn't disappoint. We definitely hope to return to this home again!

Needs a little maintenance

Nice cabin on a court; little traffic. When we arrived, the cabin was extremely cold. It had snowed the night before. The Nest thermostat didn’t work. The cabin is primarily heated by a gas fireplace located in the living room. We kept trying for about 20 minutes, then called the management company. The rep was very apologetic and said that the Nest thermostat had been a problem for some time; maybe needing batteries? Anyway, he was able to help us locate the “emergency” thermostat and get it hooked up. This worked fine throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we noted that the door stop behind the front door had been broken. A flood light on the deck wasn’t working. Tried to find a replacement bulb, without success. Upon trying to ensure that the bulb was appropriately tightened it was noted that the socket was probably broken. The cabin was very comfortable and met our needs. It was about a 25 minute drive to Bear Valley for our cross country skiing. The cabin is near Arnold and its restaurants a good grocery store and the Big Trees state park. The informational binder in the cabin was very helpful, but needs to be reviewed and updated. For example, the binder states the check out time is 11am. This would have been a more reasonable time and would have provided one more relaxed morning in the cabin. Other reviewers have also stated this. Didn’t want to leave. Would return!

Good location and nice stay

We enjoyed the drive to Arnold and the stay. There are some restaurants within 15m drive, and more when we reach Bear Valley ski resort. It takes 30m to Bear Valley ski resort which is manageable. Everything is accurate to the listings. Good stay with kids.

First snow trip for 3 kids under 6

Lovely cabin, very gentle slope and perfect for our little ones who’ve never been in snow. The fire was on with relaxing music when we arrived and it was so cozy after the long drive. Beautiful views from the main level. Very cozy but still had a nice amount of space for the kids to play safely and a large table for meals. My 5 year old also really loved the color of the granite countertops! :)

I did not mind that so much but if you’re looking for updated that may be an issue for you. Honestly, the biggest issue for us was the fact that there was no air-conditioning. When I went back and read the amenities I noticed air conditioning was not listed but of course that was not some thing I was looking for when I booked the house. It gets so hot in the summer up in the mountains I just assumed there would be air. The house pretty much stayed at 82° the entire time we were there. It went down only a couple degrees at night. This would have been bearable if there were fans in every room but there was not. There was one small broken fan in a closet downstairs and one portable fan that was working in the living room. There’s also a ceiling fan in the living room which helps only if you’re directly under it because the ceiling is so high. Leaving doors and windows open did nothing because there was no breeze whatsoever. No drapes. When the portable fan was on us,it was bearable but again there was only one. I don’t see why there wouldn’t be fans like that in every room if you knew you didn’t have air conditioning. Fans are pretty inexpensive and having fans all over the house would’ve made the trip completely different. Otherwise it’s a very beautiful and quiet area. Lots of squirrels running around and we saw a coyote and a bat. The deck is great to sit out on. I wish they had reclining chairs that you could lay back on, that would be nice and perhaps more comfortable chairs around the table. There was a nice wood table on the deck but it had cheap plastic chairs around it and one bench, neither of which were super comfortable but of course doable. It was still a very nice time. The heat made it impossible to be in the upstairs area and loft which was a bummer since my daughter was looking forward to making that area her ow

We're glad you enjoyed the location as well as the rental! Most cabins up here don't have a/c due to the normally cool weather. That weekend was rather hot as a result of a heat wave which, typically, we only experience a couple times each summer. Nevertheless, we were so happy to have you and can't wait to see you again.

Great Place

We had a great time at the cabin. Everything was as-shown in the listing. It was clean, organized and the street it’s on is very quiet. Great place that I would stay at again.
