Serene Sierra Cabin dans la grande forêt d'arbres

Profitez de l’intoxication par l’air frais et du calme lors de cette journée relaxante et sereine. 5 salles de bain 1968 cabine groovy A-cadre. Situé sur 1,5 hectares boisés, la cour est le parc national Calaveras Big Trees. Toute l'année, Moran Creek coule en bordure de la propriété. Tout le bois à l'intérieur: plafonds en pin à rainure et boiseries en noyer, grand poêle à bois qui dispose de trois endroits plats pour cuisiner. Cuisine bien équipée avec comptoirs en formica vintage rose et blanc et bar pour quatre personnes. Dîner sur une table circulaire en résine réalisée par le designer du premier télésiège à Squaw Valley. Une plate-forme enveloppante en séquoia gigantesque pour profiter du bonheur du parc national Big Trees-Calaveras dans la cour arrière. Au rez-de-chaussée, deux chambres: une reine, une avec deux lits jumeaux, salle de bain complète avec grande baignoire / douche; dans le grenier: une reine et une twin, et 1/2 bain. Le canapé est rempli de duvet. Décor rétro avec des lampes en verre orange, des tapis en kilim et des couettes en duvet sur tous les lits. Clavier électrique vintage et système stéréo complet. Plate-forme énorme de séquoia entourée par le printemps fleurissant des cornouiller. Peut dormir 7-8 .. Dîners de fin de semaine au lodge Snowflake, cuisine complète ou barbecue à gaz au chalet. 35 "à Bear Valley Ski Area, alpin ou ski de fond. 20" à la dégustation de vin dans Murphys historique de 1850. Tant de choses à faire ou non!

We have a great time staying at the Dogwood Cabin in Arnold .Robin is a great host who is precise about the conditions of his home. And the best thing is that our family and friends plus my furry friend can be together for couple days secluded in the woods.

Great Location!

The location is really beautiful. Cabin backs up the State Park land and nearest neighbor is far enough away that it feels like you have the forest orally to yourself. The cabin is really cozy. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

Much needed get away

Our overall trip was wonderful. We appreciated the coziness of the cabin and the surrounding property. Our kids loved walking around with our dog. We took advantage of Big Trees State Park as we as the brewery.

Quick getaway

A little confusing getting from the main road into the property but directions given were great. Cozy cabin with room for more people than I had. Perfect to get away and disconnect from the world. No cell service but WiFi worked great.

Great location at the edge of the woods, but also close to the pool and lakes and state park. We loved being up in the trees, and the home had everything we needed - plus it felt like a home, not like a soulless corporate vacation rental. It was a delight! Plus we came with our dog to escape the city fireworks and we didn’t hear a single one. And my toddler loved playing with his trains on the deck. He actually told me to sell our house and buy this one so we could live there all the time.

Cozy cabin, with a forrest trail near by

We loved our stay at Robin's cabin. It's well loved and lived, which makes homey and cozy. Definitely not one of those sterile vacation rentals, where you feel right away, the owners are not using their own place. Yes, the carpet could have been cleaner, especially next to the fire place.We loved the discovery of the forrest trail to walk our dog, just a few steps up the road.

Great funky old school warm & cozy cabin

Despite no TV which wasn’t necessary this place rally grows on you over time. The kids loved it and the host, Robin was super friendly and accommodating. Unlike other rentals — this home is lived in by the hosts so their personal touch and 60s flare is on filial display. We had a great time! Keep in mind, the stairs are quite long to get to the main door and there are stairs of course to the loft so if that’s an issue this might not be the place for you. Otherwise, soak up the chill, warm, groovy vibes ingrained in the home and enjoy!

Great location, less than stellar interior

Dark photos hid things like carpet padding coming out from the floor in the upstairs bathroom and a very dusty and very lived in space. This felt like I was in someone else's space a bit too much. Pots and pans had many caked on stains and grime so we microwaved everything and ended up buying paper towels and paper plates.

Step back in time

I really enjoy the house, The only thing that I would change would be to take more of the personal belongings off the side tables where people sit and next to the bed. put those away because it was hard to put a soda or glass of water. I felt like I was intruding on the space but I really liked it overall. Would recommend if you want to unplug from electronics.

Thanks for your feedback Annette. The dish on each side table are there for your glass of water to act as a coaster since the tables don’t have a waterproof finish.

Mountain Retreat

We had a lovely time in Arnold. The lakes, we went to three, we all beautiful and with such warm temps, the water felt great. The cabin truly is right out of the 1970's but everything is clean and well kept - it's a trip and took me straight back to my childhood memories. Our son and dog both had so much fun running through the woods, splashing in the lakes and enjoying the stars! Thank you Robin for a great stay!!

We loved our stay here! Full of nostalgia, especially if you were a kid in the 70’s to 80’s. My 8 year old was intrigued with the decor and throwback technology. Snowy stay at mountain retreat

What a nice cabin to spend a weekend. Wooded surroundings, comfy beds, great vibe to the cabin. All four of us (adults) enjoyed the laid back feel and the sense of quiet. Away from the highway, but not too far over well maintained and plowed roads from Highway 4. The dogs thought it was a great place too. Everything worked & plenty of hot water. Highly recommend this cabin!

Relaxing retreat

Nice, cozy SO QUIET AND PEACEFUL. Cabin has everything you need to have a relaxing getaway. Great trails close by for exploring and a short drive away from the grocery store and restaurants.
