Federal is situated in the Byron hinterland among country roads and lush bushland.

Please note, due to road closure Fairway is a 28-minute drive to the village of Federal where you can find locally roasted coffee, Doma modern Japanese cafe and Federal general store. The scenic gardens of Crystal Castle are a 15-minute drive towards Mullumbimby. The world-class beaches of Byron Bay are a half hour scenic drive from the property. Spectacular Minyon Falls in the Nightcap National Park are a 10-minute drive and many bushwalking day trips can be found close by. Gold Coast Airport is one hour and Ballina Airport is 45 minutes drive.
