The host was very responsive. The bar didn’t really bother us. Some rugs upstairs and foam on the ceiling downstairs could help with sound, but we didn’t really have issue. The popup restaurants were great! And solid burger and fries at marrow

Mini vacay!

Cute little place! Very comfortable and had a great time there! Was a little tricky to find at first but everything after that was a breeze! I would totally stay again!

Great location

Charming little area. The apartment was perfect. We stay up late, so the bar below wasn't a problem for us. The Italian restaurant next door has delicious food. The bar had a pop up Jamaican restaurant and that was so good too! There is an ice cream shop in the back. It kind of had an up northy feel but in Detroit.

West Village Stay

The apartment was nice and looked just liked the photos. The only down fall was that it was not clean, the bottom of my feet were black from walking around, the bathroom was a tiny bit dirty. Otherwise our stay was perfect. Was loud from the bar but we didn't mind at all.

Surprise

I booked this stay without knowing the location, and when I arrived, I was somewhat disappointed until I walked in and found that it was exactly like the pictures. The nightlife just beneath me was mind-blowingly relaxing and a breath of fresh air. This place made me feel like we got on a plane and left for a couple of days.😁 If I had to give some advice I would say clean the lil couch by the window, leave more towels, and change the light bulb in the first room. Thanks for having me. I enjoyed every minute.

Cute apartment in West Village

We absolutely enjoyed our 17 night stay at this location. It is literally right upstairs from a nice small bar and next door to an Italian restaurant. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and the music that can and will be heard in the apartment did not bother us one bit! I would like to warn others that the beds are very low to the floor, and gives you the feeling of sleeping on the floor. I do think there needs to be televisions in the bedrooms, the owner can upgrade the coffee maker to a Keurig, provide more bath towels and repair the broken blinds. But since there is a very nice coffee shop in walking distance, maybe people would enjoy that more. All in all, it's a very nice place.

Cool vibe

Our stay was during the coldest week over the last year so hard to fault the heater for not keeping up with 0° temps. Decent place, really just needed a place to crash after long work days. The main issue I had was the downstairs music was louder and until later than expected. Pretty annoying really. Didn’t feel like the ad made it clear. Owner did message me after reservation to make it clear and offer cancel, felt like it should’ve been in the ad tho. I’d stay here again if vacationing but not on a work trip.

Cool Place

This is a beautiful apartment in a really cool area. The host is responsive and available. Check in was easy. "Sleeps 8" is a bit of a stretch but there is one pull out couch and 2 pull out chairs. Very clean place.

Just What We Needed

We were visiting family friends in Historic Indian Village, so this was a perfect location for us. Alex was a great host; very responsive and the check in was smooth. The space was lovely and clean; enjoyed the details. There are great cafes within walking distance like Sister Pie, Red Hook and Snack Camp. We really enjoyed our stay and grateful for Alex being a great host, which you can't always say about most!
