Weekend get away

Wonderful neighborhood and a very comfortable stay

Good biking nearby, hospital (I was there for surgery) 15 minutes away. The beds were awesomely comfortable. Great restaurants close by. We also spent some time on Belle Isle checking out the walking paths.

Great apartment in a historic building in Grosse Point. Clean, easy parking, safe area, ready access to everything we wanted to do in Detroit! We would absolutely stay again on a return visit!

Roomy Home in a Great Location

Lots of room in the house with modern appliances and comfortable beds. The location was excellent with easy access to protected bike lanes to Bell Island Park. Also a short drive from Comerica Field and all downtown activities. Definitely recommend.

Perfect For a Short Weekend Trip

Came to town to visit a college friend who just had her baby. The condo was clean, quiet, great part of town... overall a very nice experience. The owners were very communicative and explained the processes for everything very well. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent place to stay in Grosse Pointe Park. We came to the area to visit my uncle who lives locally. The apartment was everything we needed. It was clean, bright, quiet and in an area we felt safe. Parking space was perfect - right at the back of the building. The beds were very comfortable. This unit - B - is on the second floor (A is on the first floor). In case that helps some folks who aren’t ok with the walk up a flight. Communication with the management company was excellent. We will definitely stay here when we visit my uncle next time.

Great comfortable stay

This location was well suited for our trip to Detroit. Comfortable beds, the property was well stocked and contains all of the amenities needed for our stay. It was great to have dedicated parking and the market across the street. Would definitely recommend to others with the caveat that the walls are very thin, and you can hear the neighbors. Well priced for the location and environment.

Big issues: communication with host (no responses to emails sent), noise ( party across the hall until 4am) and safety. The front door was left open leaving us feeling unsafe plus zero degree temps with door open resulted in a very cold night for us. Place was clean but we will not return and we visit Detroit Several times a year.

Reunion Weekend

Three friends met for a weekend high school. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and conveniently close to our sites. There was even a local market across the street! More than o ce it was said, “This is perfect! I could live here.”

It was just a flat - certainly not a “luxury” accommodation. No paintings. Basically gray.Found a child’s pair of undies under the bureau. Host never responded to my emails. I wanted to extend stay by an hour and was told (when it was too late to cancel) that it would be 50 a half hour for any time past the 10:00 am checkout time.No regular coffee was provided - just decaf.

Clean, quiet, comfortable stay

We stayed two night in this upper floor apartment. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Netflix and Wifi provided, as well as one parking space behind the unit. A small convenience market is just across the street. Close to the lake and walkable neighborhood. Additional shopping is only a mile or so away (Kroger, Einstein Bagels, Trader Joe's). We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice rental in GPP

We stayed during the holidays to be nearby to family. We weren't there much but to sleep but the unit was very clean and updated, and all was in working order. Beds were very comfortable. It is an older four flat so you can hear the neighbors at times, but we anticipated that could occur. It is on the second floor with one set of stairs. Quiet, lovely neighborhood!

Short get away

I had some issues with check-in which was a big inconvenience for me. The person I was communicating with couldn't help me at all. But once I was connected to the right person everything went smooth. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is small but has everything you need. Free laundry was a definite plus. My 2 year old grandson loved running back and forth down the hall way. Everything was really clean. I was super impressed with how clean the floors were. My grandson was barefoot or white sox and his feet was not black on the bottom. I would definitely rent this place again.

Great stay in Gross Pointe

This property was a great find on a super busy weekend in Detroit (jazz festival, Labor Day weekend). Check-in was easy; the apartment was nicely decorated and super comfortable for our family of 3. Beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and safe save one noisy neighbor one night, but it didn’t last long. When we had an issue with the shower drain, the property manager was responsive and got it fixed the following day. It’s an older property with the quirks that come with that (creaky floors), but it is classic and comfortable with a lot of light and a great little market right across the street. We bought a non-slip mat for the shower and left it there for future guests. Rated 4 for cleanliness only because the ducts need a good clean, but that’s an easy fix. Our family recommends this property to anyone visiting Detroit!
