Stayed in the condo for a weekend in park city. The price point for the condo was good and the location was good as well. We did experience a few things that I think others should know about prior to booking. The unit comes with minimal towels(one hand towel and 3 towels, no face towel, no pool towels). When we contacted the owner about this they were not responsive for over 24 hours and the front desk could not do anything to help us which was frustrating. The TV seemed to be on the fritz as well. No hand soap to wash your hands. So anyone booking should make sure to bring some of these more essential type items to make sure they have a better experience then we did. I think with a few minor improvements this property would have received a higher score.
We had a great stay at this condo. It was very conveniently located right on the bus route. For the price point during high ski season, I would definitely be back.
The unit gets the job done location-wise, but it wasn't a particularly comfortable stay. There was mold and barely any water pressure in the shower, a single plastic hanger for clothes, no hand soap, few blankets, etc. Fine if you're roughing it, but at this price point there should be more attention to detail (especially given some of these issues have been raised in other reviews of the unit).
The location could not have been better. The bus stop to the Park City Mountain Village was right outside our door. The room, however, had mold in the shower and didnât provide any body wash. The showerâs hot water was finicky and took a long time to heat up (it also only worked if the dial pointed to the cold side!)They was no toaster, even though it was advertised as an amenity and the plates and utensils were just thrown in a bag in the cabinets. The host was responsive over text though. If youâre looking for a convenient location for skiing and your not afraid to rough-it, this place works well enough.
With my son and his GF in town visiting from Atlanta, I wanted to introduce them to the Oregon coast. We loved it! I just wish they had a later check out time.
Loved the location, the bus stopping right in front of the VRBO was awesome.
The water pressure on the 2nd floor sucked. The shower barely had water coming out and when taking a shower, the hot varies from cold to hot.
Overall all was well. The location was great, the bus stop is right outside. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. My only suggestion to improve this property is that there was no humidifier or any hooks to hang ski gear to dry. Two essentials of a ski condo ;)
Like I said overall this place was just what we needed and the price was right.
The condo/hotel room was situated in a great location with shops and restaurants located within walking distance. The free shuttle was directly out front and was just a short 2 mile ride to Park City. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
Park City received lots of snow leading up to and during our stay. I would advise guests to make sure they have a 4-wheel drive car or an all wheel drive vehicle as the parking lot and walk way was not plowed/cleaned very good.
Thank you!
The bathroom and shower were clean. The carpet was dirty, there were small rocks all over the floor. Not comfortable on the feet. The electric strip didnt work, there was only one outlet in the entire room that was useable. I had to sit the coffee pot on the sink to plug it in. In my opinion the beds were very firm not comfortable to me at all. The host communicated with me before my stay, but would not acknowledge my text when I checked out. The parking lot was always full. I had to find a place to park every day not at the property. I would not rent this property again.
3 people booked for 6 days, was only provided 3 towels to start. The heater only stays on for a little then shuts off. No extra toilet paper in the room. The power strip broke on the second night. And the final night, the power went out and the person we rented from didn't answer email, called condo front desk and was told they would get maintenance. Well we woke up to no power still. Overalll not a good experience. Would not book again.
We really appreciated Park City. The skiing, restaurants, and experience was wonderful.
This VRBO is near the bus stop and going to the Park City Base on the Yellow 5 Bus is easy. However, the VRBO was below what we expected.
There is no kitchen (it does have a mini fridge and microwave). But note that there is no sink (no drinking water), no plates, silverware, cups; also there is no stove / oven). Additionally, there is no shower soap, hand soap, dishwashing soap. As other reviews mention, it is a tight spot with few places to hang clothes (particularly desired for ski trips). The hot tub was at capacity both nights we tried to use it (i.e. over 20 people). We did speak to other folks who noted that their unit was cleaner and did have a kitchen...this was not. The beds were uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. The VRBO is dated and not very clean. Ultimately a disappointing VRBO in a beautiful city.
When we arrived the coffee pot was on a shelf above the counter where the vrbo picture showed the coffee pot and the microwave. We put the coffee pot on the counter and plugged it into the 6 outlet power cord on the wall above the cabinet. During two of the first nights the electric went out and the association maintenance people reset the breaker. A couple days later the power cord went dead and did not carry any current. The maintenance staff came by and said that we should move the appliances to another outlet and call the owner. The condo owner accused us of moving moving the coffee pot from the dresser where they left it - a lie. The outlets behind the dresser were filled and it was too heavy to be moved particularly with the TV on it. The hosts story changed to they personally left it on the glass table. Again a lie, the only out let there was filled with the heating unit and the direct TV unit with a note on the wall saying not the disconnect the direct TV plug. We tried plug into the only other available outlet where the air conditioner was plugged, and unplugged the air conditioner as it is winter.
The blind/curtain was non-functional and could not be closed. This would have been apparent to housekeeping, but no attempt to get it fixed was made. Made multiple calls to owner, was told they had no one to fix it. Window was open to parking lot all day and night thus no privacy whatsoever. Could not operate coffee machine because it kept throwing breaker.
Easy checked in and out. Host quick responsive to questions. Beds are comfy. Place is conveniently located near everything. Will stay again went in town.
The room itself was clean. Overall we had a favorable experience, but there were a few things that others should be aware of. While the listing does say that it is a top floor condo, no mention is made that there isnât an elevator. Hauling luggage up 3 flights of stairs wasnât fun. Could have also used more outlets⊠consider bringing a power strip with you. The bathroom is tiny, and there isnât a lot of counter space.
It was small, but nice. Clean. Beds were very comfy. Microwave didn't work but sometimes that happens. Otherwise it was pretty good. Parking was confusing at the check in office but otherwise check in was simple.
Great location. Steps to very convenient shuttle buses to slopes and main street. Room with two comfortable beds plus a microwave and mini-fridge. Walking distance to a number of restaurants in the Prospector Square area and short bus ride to main street.
Front light did not work, heater was off and space was freezing, heater needed service and was intermittent, no hot water for showers, 3 towels for 4 guests, no closet for hanging clothes, coffee maker inop.
Owner was out of state and responded quickly to texts, and thankfully refunded our money.
