My 3 year old son & I stayed here over spring break. The room was beautiful & had everything we needed: coffee maker, beach chairs, and even sand toys for my son. The resort that the condo is located on is excellent as well, with a large pool, a kids pool & itâs located directly on the beach. Across the street is Heritage Park, which is great for kids as well.
Great property overall. Beautiful view. Somewhat hard dealing with the employees at times and getting things figured out or done. AC unit failed while we were gone and came back to water across the floor from the kitchen to the balcony. Not a huge deal as we did clean it up with towels but wasnât fun either. Overall a good experience.
The property was advertised as having a spectacular balcony, which it did. This was really the only redeeming feature of this substandard property. The owner never mentioned anything about the possibility of the balcony being closed for the balcony railing repair. The condo association assured me that all owners were made aware of the renovation schedule. The balcony was reopened on Friday March 4th after being closed for 10 nights and days. The only reason we rented this unit was for the balcony. Now on to the bathtub/ shower drain. Upon turning on the shower for the first time, my girlfriend was standing in an inch of water within a minute or two. Disgusting! The drain was clogged with a buildup of hair. How long was this going on for? It did not just clog up on the day we arrived. It is hard to believe that the previous occupant did not complain. Who wants to stand in standing water accumulating from a hair clog. What about the 2.5-3 hours of my wasted time waiting for and staying with the plumber while he cleared the bathtub drain hair clog? The owner said he immediately sent out a check for 23 dollars for a hairdryer that blew out, and then a check for the meager 200.00 balcony compensation? I received one check for 223.00. Also, the room looked very dirty. The ceiling was blotchy and discolored as though there had been smoke damage from a fire. The whole room needs repainting. The AC vents were filthy and mold covered. Not good for anyone with asthma or another respiratory condition. Also, mold around the tub. The owner should be fair and provide additional compensation. Theoretically, the 3 nights free next year offer for compensation seems to make the offer fairer, assuming I would ever deal with this owner again. Future renters beware.
It was an older buidling but very clean and had all the amenities that one needs. Good location, near supermarket and comercial center. Very firendly attention from the staff.
The outside resto needs to reduce its plastic to more environmental friendly biodegradable plates, glasses and straws.
Drinks are small and expensive. US$15 for a Margarita in a small glass.
Everything was good, the only thing I could wish for was a small couch or chair to sit on to watch TV at night. I personally am not a fan of sitting in bed to watch TV, some people are, but my back disagrees. :)
This was the first stop on our retirement victory tour. The hotel personnel were friendly and cooperative with all our needs. We loved how easy it was to get to the pool and beach from our room. Our room was exactly as advertised with fantastic views from the balcony of both the beach and city. On the negative side, we had 3 issues. The ac thermostat did not work, so the unit ran constantly. It was noisy and the room got chilly at times. As stated in previous reviews, the elevators were slow and it seems at least 1 of the 3 were out of order most of the time. The valet service was horrendously slow. One time we waited 2 hours for our vehicle only to find they never went to get it. After many complaints, they discovered that no one was sent to get it. The average wait time (even during nonpeak hours was 30 minutes). We were having such a great time, that we didnât let these things bother us. The worst thing happened when our car was delivered to us upon our checkout. The valet brought us our car and the interior was total mess! Someone had ransacked the car and stolen a change purse and $400 GPS device from the glove box. I hold the hotel totally accountable for this. As the vehicle has alarms, the only way the thief could enter it without tripping the alarm is the car doors were never locked. This was a very bad ending to an otherwise great stay.
