Each unit features a beautiful modern beach vibe, equipped with a king-sized bed and a fully equipped compact kitchen. The property is in a fantastic spot by the coastal walk way. Onmy 3 kms to city center. And closer to the whale bridge. Golf course 100metres away, clean tidy great facilitates. .

Manger phoned during power outage to check we all good (very much appreciated) highly recommend particularly because it was “stand alone” so no neighbour noise. Supplies for use plentiful & great to have washing powder. 10 out of 10.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great spot specially if you like to swim. You will need a car or bike to do everything else. It’s a contêiner type of place, so it can get hot, but they have air con. Very clean and it’s about 300 to the beach. I can imagine getting loud depending on the group of the other units.

The duvet cover clearly needs a wash, and was not on the duvet inner. Pillow inners are old and stained. The dishes and glasses were very unclean. Dish towels made the dishes smell. Old cleaning rag in the utensils drawer.

Built by the owner with a lot of care and attention to detail, it was well equipped, comfortable and clean. A sun trap in the afternoon on the deck and efficient aircon inside.

Quality Get away in the Taranaki

No Frills

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A no frills spot to stay near the beach and cycle path at Fitzroy Beach. A small unit with most things you need for a short stay in New Plymouth. There are four of these unit on a small block near the beach. Luckily we were the only ones staying as it would be very busy and not private if it was full. The unit took a long time to cool down on the sunny day we arrived even with the air con on full. For us it was fine as we didn't spend much time at home.Regards Geoff

Cabin with a good walk to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is a cabin rather than a unit. It's a little bigger than the standard hotel room with a tiny kitchen. The beach pictures are misleading and come from much further down the beach. There is a good 10 min walk to the beach from the cabin. The view is of a massive house in front of this cabin so if you are expecting to see or hear the beach you'd be mistake. The shower wasn't that clean when I arrived with sand still in the bottom of it in the corners. There is much better properties in New Plymouth for the same money.

Also handy to take always and play grounds. It is a tiny home so just be aware if bringing young ones and it’s raining and your likely to be stuck inside like we were. Great!

Compact and well equipped - very easy

Fabulous little unit - one of four - just a minute walk down to the beach. You can hear the sea from the deck. Fab location - diary at the corner - some great shops in Fitzroy Village - great wine bar! Comfy bed and great shower - thank you

The street is a no exit so is very quiet and it is a minute walk to the beach from the unit.
