Cosy, centrally located cottage. Close to Pukekura Park, coastal walkway, Te Henui walkway, and central New Plymouth. Tucked down a back section away from traffic noise.
Spacious bedroom with Queen bed. Living room with well equipped kitchenette. Bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.
Perfect location for a couple or single person to explore New Plymouth.
Really loved the fact that the place was in a perfect location and tucked away and quiet. No TV was a bonus and the facilities perfect. Thank you so much for letting us stay and to check in a wee earlier than expected.
Great little place to stay, cosy and comfy with everything we needed. Loved the central location, so easy to get around.Great value for money too. Would stay here again.
We really liked our stay in the cottage. It was super clean, the kitchen was compact but very complete. We had a few nice chats with the owner. Highly recommended.
The property was hidden away yet within a short distance from the coast and National Parks. There were several trails within walking distance and Pukerura Park became a favourite location towards the end of the day, having spent several hours there during my first day. It was easy to communicate with Louise and Jonathan should the need arise.
This property is very well located and close to good walking. It was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. It is also quiet and private. Highly recommended
This is a lovely wee place. We were very happy there for our time in New Plymouth. I didn't check when I booked about the TV but the absence was great because we missed all the American election business. Louise was very prompt to answer all queries.Thoroughly recommend.
A small cottage in a back section, but very spacious inside. Good amenities including a full fridge (great for refreezing ice packs), mircrowave, hotplates, condiments, and excellent Wi-Fi. Cozy and warm with the heaters on and a comfortable bed. Hosts were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. No issues at all and would happily stay there again. There's no TV (FYI), but I just watch things online anyway. There's no kitchen table, just a big coffee table and a desk, but it was fine for just one staying. The location was handy, as I was watching netball at Waiwhakaiho Park.
We recently had the pleasure of staying in a centrally located cottage in New Plymouth and wanted to share our thoughts with you all. As the first guests, we were excited to experience a new accommodation option, and overall, we were quite pleased with our stay.
While there were a few items of furniture that we felt would have made the cottage more practical and homely, everything else was comfortable and met our needs. The location was very quiet, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Access to supermarkets was just a 10-minute walk, with the town center being a manageable 25 minutes away. Additionally, we enjoyed a lovely walk along the riverside to reach the nearby beach, which was only 5 minutes from the cottage.
Our interactions with the hosts were always friendly and prompt, which made our stay even more enjoyable. And to top it off, we were delighted with the fresh passion fruit from the garden! đż
The unit was excellent except for 3 things, 1. The bed was a bit too low, but very comfortable. 2. there is no T V . 3. The only chair in the unit at the small table is an office chair, a suitable dining chair would be far better. The shower was very good. It is very hard to see where to put the key at night to unlock the main door.
Really enjoyed the stay - very clean and nice place. The hosts provided us with milk in the fridge and towels/linen too which was appreciated. Highly recommend!
