This is the second stay for our family of 19. Overall, we love the property because it has adequate rooms for us, the pool, the game room, the tennis/basketball court, and the breakfasts. The landscaping and gardens are beautiful and well-kept. Check-in and communications is great. But two problems persist: the refrigerator in the kitchen was not working our first time and was not working this time (temp was 64), and the operating instructions for the hot tub are not accurate (written instructions at one point are reversed compared to you-tube) so that heater would not come on — fix, do a hard reset. Would we stay again— yes.

Great Long Weekend

Our group of 18 had a wonderful time at the ranch. The property was expansive and beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool, game room, and horseback riding. The staff on the property were great and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Family weekend

We had a great time. The property was the perfect size for our group of 15. We were very comfortable. Had fun in the pool and in the party house game room. Breakfast was the BEST ever! Would definitely go again and recommend it!

Friends reunion

Our group of 6 couples plus kids had a great time - home exceeded all expectations. Room to spread out on the property, plenty to keep the kids busy, and breakfast every morning was fantastic. Definitely recommend hiring the chef for dinner one night, that turned out to be a highlight!

AMAZING!!! The house was beautifully kept. The staff was top notch ( very helpful and so kind). The food was delicious! Would 100% recommend this rental and would love to book again for a family reunion!!! The whole experience was wonderful!

Amazing Staff and Location

We reserved Permavista for a business outing. The communication prior to arrival was outstanding and all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the location and premises were beautiful. The onsite chef prepared an amazing meal that was enjoyed by all. We can't wait to return again next year!

Ranch life

Great sizzling ranch experience to gather with our extended family to celebrate our 50th.. used the entire space from the tennis court to the horseback riding. Hot breakfast every morning was a real treat.

Family Anniversary Celebration

We had 19 people celebrating a 60th wedding anniversary. PermaVista Ranch was amazing. The property was spacious and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We had a great weekend and would recommend PermaVista to everyone.

Beautiful week at a Beautiful property

The property worked for all of us, from the 2 year olds to the 80 year olds. Breakfast was wonderful, not only the food but the chance to gather at the beginning of the day. We ended the day in the party room. Perfect

This is an amazing venue. With all the grounds to explore, the tennis/basketball court, the pond for fishing and the outside entertaining space, all were kept entertained… especially the kidsInside the party room easily accommodated all 40 of us and everyone commented about how comfortable and nice it was The food!!!! Wow. The chef and staff are amazing. The quality and service level was above anything we have had in a long time. Always a smile and willing to do or get anything we neededOvernight everyone had a very comfortable and private spotHighly recommend to anyone considering a group event of any kind

This property is amazing. Ruth and the entire staff went over the top to make this the best weekend for my daughters 14th birthday. We had 11 girls and they had a ball. Highly recommend. And so beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Lots of space & privacy Ideal for a large extended family gathering We took advantage of the horse riding (excellent instructor) & the pool & tennis court A great big delicious breakfast is provided each morning by very pleasant staff - great time to relax and start the day. Annual Family getaway

This place was sooo amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids & adults loved the horseback riding. Pool time was certainly enjoyed each day. The big delicious breakfast prepared each morning was such a treat as we were all able to sit down together at the same time to eat & spend some quality family time around the table. Flawless Family Getaway – From Rooms to Pool to Party Space

Our family reunion at this property was absolutely perfect! The various room configurations suited all family sizes beautifully, and the family party room was ideal for gathering, conversing, and playing games. The pool area became a favorite hangout spot throughout the day. The catering staff was brilliant—breakfast options were delicious and satisfying, and our specially requested dinner was exceptional, truly worthy of a starred restaurant. The property manager was outstanding, promptly answering questions both before and during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully provided, making the experience seamless and memorable. Overall, the value was well worth the rates. Highly recommended!

The Most Amazing Breathtaking Property

This is the second time our team has stayed at the Permavista Ranch. The last time was July of 2021. All I can say is we’ve tried other properties over the years but after this trip we’ve all agreed moving forward our offsite home away from home will be here and here only. From courteousness of the entire staff, the amazing chefs that prepared our meals and the Amazing Horse Trainer Elise why would anyone go anywhere else. There are several rooms to house meetings, the game room house is amazing. The main house is simply stoic and the multiple single rooms allows for privacy for 10 people with ease!

Beautiful stay

We stayed at PermaVista Ranch for our son's wedding in Brenham. What a beautiful home! It has plenty of bedroom's all spread out for 16 people...which we loved. The party room was our epicenter because there is something for everyone...pool, shuffleboard, games, tv, etc. The breakfast provided by the chef every morning was amazing. The tennis court, play area and swimming pool/hot tub were a hit with everyone. Working with Ruth was easy from day 1. She was very quick to respond to an email before our stay or any question while we were in the home. The home is beautifully decorated and you can see it is a treasured home for a beautiful family with a lot of memories. Our family now has our own wonderful memories to add to it.

A great place for a guys weekend getaway

Our group of 8 guys had a great weekend at the ranch. Ruth was very helpful in coordinating food and activities for us. The food was good, and they cooked plenty for our entire group. We had an awesome time hanging out in the big game room, swimming, and playing sports on the tennis court. There was plenty of space for every guy to have his own room, and we would definitely consider returning next year. The biggest con of the property is that the bedrooms/bathrooms are all dated and could use a remodel (or at the very least... a significant deep-clean, repainting, etc). This wasn't a big deal for our group of guys, as we spent very little time in our rooms, but it would make me think twice if I was booking a weekend here with all couples.
